Review

Panache, practicality (roomy back seat) and phantastically phast -- what more could one want? Better MPG, maybe, but comparable cars are just as bad (e.g. E55 AMG) -- and they don't have or offer All Wheel Drive. I've never driven this much in one year (24K mi), which says a lot. Spent time in shop after 10K mi but turns out that was due to poor communication at Audi rather than parts availability, which was blamed at the time. Also have 2000 Audi S4 & need to sell one of them. Love the S4 too; more nimble and, with a chip, almost as fast. But even tho selling the RS6 would bring $40+K more, I have no such plans. RS6 pleases eyes, ears, even nose!

Favorite Features

Speed, sound (standard exhaust), comfort, traction; can enter merging traffic like no other sedan I've driven, including Merdeces-Benz E55 AMG (which is a little faster but jerky at times, due to no AWD).

Suggested Improvements

Ride could be smoother; suggest adjustable levels of stiffness like E55 AMG. Seats are good but Europe got Recaros, which probably are better. Hope next generation gets better MPG, maybe using something similar to new Chrysler 300/Dodge Magnum (runs on 4 cylinders when cruising)

Review

My S8 was good, but the RS6 is spectacular. The only "con" is the mediocre interior detail. NAV is terrible system requires new CD halfway from Philly to NY. Transmission and most everything is last years. No map screen. The performance is wonderful. With all the disappointment with the "old" equipment, I bought two.

Favorite Features

Smooth effortless acceleration and stable handling even driving hard in the turns. Comfortable, verisitile, stable, Quattro attractive.

Suggested Improvements

Finish the car with the best features from the A8 and other lines. The performace reflects the talent and effort of the Audi engineering team. The finish and features were ignored. Great performance alone id not enough.

Review

A superb handling car with explosive acceleration, good ergonomics, excellent comfort. Holds four people comfortably, but has a small trunk space. Excellent audio system and GPS navigation system (although no map). The all-wheel drive adds greatly to the handling in wet/snowy weather. The brakes are superb.

Handling, brakes and speed.

Turn signal indicator is too close to the steering column.

My First Audi

Review

I'm very happy with this vehicle. I can only compare it to my experience driving an imitation NASCAR vehicle at Richard Petty's experience. It delivers on everything I ask of it. The only issue I have is with the Darn OnStar system.

Favorite Features

The sound enhancing exhausts make this thing sound like the beast that it is, otherwise it behaves in a very subtle manner.

Suggested Improvements

I'd love to have some more modern features like another speed on the tranny, Color LCD Nav System and we have to have Bluetooth interfacing to the telematics, putting MP3 playback capability on the CD-Changer would be a plus too.

Nobody really needs a car like this... A true car lover's car - you buy this car to drive and enjoy. It won't sit in your garage for the "special days". Don't test-drive one unless you can buy or are willing to live in agony without it - its really that good...

Review

A remarkable automobile with scary performance that's a wolf in sheep's clothing - only a few notice the wheels and divine what it might be. In town you have always to keep in mind what an incredibly fast machine this is. In the country you can just fly. The monster brakes give one a very good feeling, as does the way it takes curves. Oh, and not to forget, that fabulous V8 growl that makes you want to turn off the stereo and open the window.

Favorite Features

Performance: breath-taking acceleration; superb braking; great cornering. Really good technology (electronics). Can get to the trunk from the cabin. Great stereo system.

Suggested Improvements

Steering column controls are 1 - 2 cm too close to the steering wheel. There's almost no place to drive it properly (not the car's fault, admittedly).

An amazin car.It needs no introduction.Its very reliable an it speed is amazin.Its the fastest family road car to be built in more than one model on the road today.Speeds of up to 180 mph means it could easily outspeed a Farrari F60 or a Lamboghini Diablo

My favorite features of the car are its amazin comfort its top model range and strong build.But most of all its amazin top speed of 190 mph.

What other car can go 0-60 in 4.5 sec, carry 5 people and be used in all weather conditions? The RS6 is one car that can do it all. Fast,comfortable, elegant, incredible grip, steering and brakes. The sounds from the engine and exhaust are among the finest around. If you can find one, grab it. Only downside - 450hp engine likes to be fed with 93 octane and car gets about 15 mpg

This car handles so much better than my (now sold) Honda S2000. What a car! I own it and I love it. The German engineering mind thinks of everything.
