Great everyday car and exciting to drive
As I was reading through reviews on your site, it bothered me to see only 3 stars for this car’s review. I have owned this car since February ‘21 now and it’s been fun to own and drive vs my 2019 BMW X3. Both cars are similar in a sense that Alfa is the old BMW. It’s more exciting to drive and significantly faster.

My Favorite Car to Date
I replaced my 2019 Kia Stinger GT with the Stelvio. Prior to that, I was driving a 2011 Audi S4, Volvo S60R, Subaru Legacy GT. Being my first SUV and going to a 4-Cylinder, I was a bit wary, but wanted something that stands out (vs an X3, Q5, CX-5, which are a dime a dozen), and handles well. Despite coming from much lower vehicles, I'm shocked how much better the Stelvio handles and drives...literally feels like it's on rails. With that, you do not sacrifice ride-quality - on smooth roads it literally glides. If you are looking for a tech-laden vehicle that basically drives itself, this is not the car for you. This is the driver's car in the segment - I find myself making excuses to just get out and hit the road. Unlike the competition, this car actually has character and a charm to it that super hard to find in new vehicles. I do have a few qualms - small dealer network, no sunglass holder, the panic button on the key is too large (you can hit it my accident a lot), base seats are too flat, fit and finish could be better, CarPlay is a little slow, and sound system is meh. Sounds like a lot of stuff, but all the nuances disappear once you drive it.

Practical sports car
Reviewers tend to knock the Stelvio for its lack of practicality and technology vs other SUVs. That is because other SUVs are basic driving appliances and their mission is to get you and your family from point A to point B. The Stelvio is not a driving appliance, it is a practical sports car. It has the personality, handling and fun to drive factor of sports cars and sports sedans, but in a much more practical package. I wanted a sports car, but needed the practicality of an SUV so the Stelvio was the obvious choice. My Stelvio puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. Try to say that about any other suv.

Outstanding Quadrifoglio
We had a Giulia Quad but needed more room and ride height. The Stelvio Quad is outstanding and seems to drive as well as the Giulia but has AWD and clearance for bad roads. This car/SUV is so much fun and fantastic for road trips.
