Trim level differences
The 2022 Audi A7 is a four-door sedan with seating for up to five people. Three trim levels are available: Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige. The standard engine is a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 (335 horsepower, 369 lb-ft of torque) called the 55 TFSI. On the Premium Plus and Prestige there's also an optional plug-in hybrid powertrain with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder (362 hp, 369 lb-ft) called the 55 TFSI e Quattro. All models come with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
Which A7 trim does Edmunds recommend?
You get a lot in return for the Premium Plus trim, which takes the optional Convenience package from the base model and adds an upgraded stereo and safety features as standard. This is also the entry point for adding the plug-in hybrid system, which can provide up to 26 miles of full EV power before the engine kicks in.
