This can be a little tricky. Initially, Audi offered the 2024 Q4 e-tron in two versions: Q4 40 e-tron and Q4 50 e-tron. The Q4 40 e-tron employs a 201-horsepower electric motor powering the EV's rear wheels. It offers an EPA-estimated 265 miles of driving range. The Q4 50 e-tron adds another electric motor to provide all-wheel drive and a more robust 295 horsepower. According to the EPA, the Q4 50 e-tron can travel 236 miles on a full charge.
Which Q4 e-tron trim does Edmunds recommend?
In the middle of 2024 Audi simplified the Q4 lineup to a single model, the 55. All 55 models come standard with all-wheel drive, so buyers no longer have to decide between rear- or all-wheel drive. With all that said, we think the midrange Premium Plus trim hits a sweet spot, which includes a lot of desirable features for a reasonable price increase over the base model.
