530i and 530i xDrive

530e and 530e xDrive
These are plug-in hybrid models that have a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine paired with a hybrid system that you can charge with an external power cord. Total system output is 288 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. The 530e offers an EPA-estimated 21 miles of all-electric driving, while the 530e xDrive offers 19 miles. Standard features are otherwise the same as on the 530i.

This 5 Series sports a turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine (523 hp, 553 lb-ft of torque). The M550i xDrive includes the contents of the Premium package and M Sport package. The Driving Assistance Professional package and Executive Package are still offered as options, along with a Dynamic Handling package that includes an M-branded active suspension.

For 2023, the Parking Assistance package is only available for the M550i xDrive and includes:

• Parking Assistant Plus (takes over steering to guide you into a parking space)
• Active Park Distance Control (automatically applies the brakes when you're about to hit an obstacle at low speeds)
• Drive Recorder (a built-in dash cam that can record video of incidents with GPS and vehicle data attached)
