2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Premiere Edition Convertible Unveiled

DETROIT — General Motors says the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Premiere Edition Convertible will start arriving at U.S. dealers in early 2014, priced from $77,450.

The Corvette Stingray Premiere Edition Convertible is a range-topping 3LT model with Lime Rock Green exterior and Brownstone suede interior. It will be built in a limited run of 550. The price includes a $995 destination charge.

The Premiere Edition package on the new Stingray Convertible bundles suede-wrapped interior trim, carbon-fiber accents, variable tuned performance exhaust system, Z51 Performance package and Magnetic Selective Ride Control.

From the Corvette Accessories catalog, the Premiere Edition adds unique wheels with Stingray logo center caps, Stingray logo interior sill plates and a five-piece set of Corvette-branded luggage from Thule.

Each Premiere Edition model gets a unique VIN sequence and unique dash plaque denoting its status as a limited production model.

Enthusiasts also can order a variety of Corvette-themed gifts, including Corvette Stingray Rollerball Pen ($12), Monopoly Empire board game ($20), 1:18 2014 Corvette Stingray die-cast model ($38.50), Corvette Stingray: The Seventh Generation of America's Sports Car, by Larry Edsall ($40), Fisher Price Power Wheels toy car ($275), Corvette watch ($775), Corvette Stingray luggage ($910) and Corvette Heritage neon sign ($5,000).

Also available is a choice of two professional hands-on driving sessions: Ron Fellows Performance Driving School (priced from $2,995) and Bob Bondurant School of Performance Driving (priced from $1,225).
