True Cost to Own® (TCO®)

True Cost to Own® (TCO®) is Edmunds.com's estimate of the total five-year cost of ownership, consisting of depreciation, interest on financing, sales taxes and fees, insurance premiums, fuel, maintenance and repairs. TCO® assumes that the car is driven 15,000 miles per year, and notes any federal tax credits that may be available for the vehicle.
