Dealerships Advertise Special Fourth of July Deals

SANTA MONICA, California — Although the 2016 Jeep Patriot would be a logical choice to headline a Fourth of July sales promotion, local auto dealerships are advertising special pricing on a wide variety of makes and models throughout this holiday week.

The 2016 Patriot is, in fact, one of the star-spangled deals being featured this weekend at Champion Jeep Dodge Ram in Downey, California. Champion also has special holiday sales on other Jeep models, including the 2016 Cherokee Sport, 2016 Compass and 2016 Renegade Sport.

Fourth of July sales at Coughlin Auto in London, Ohio, include a $1,000 cash allowance, plus another $1,500 special model cash allowance on a 2016 Buick Encore SUV and $1,500 in bonus cash on a 2016 Buick LaCrosse sedan.

JBA Chevrolet in Glen Burnie, Maryland, is advertising holiday deals on a number of models, including a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup available at zero-percent financing for up to 60 months and a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu LS sedan offered at a $5,400 discount off MSRP.

Red, White and Blue Days at Pilson Auto Centers in Mattoon, Illinois, celebrate America's 240th birthday with a promotion that advertises every new vehicle at 240 cents over dealer invoice, including the 2016 Ford F-150 pickup.

At the July Fourth Sales Event at Hyundai of Everett in Everett, Washington, shoppers will find special holiday deals on models like the 2016 Hyundai Tucson SUV and the 2017 Hyundai Elantra sedan, which provide holiday discounts, as well as cash back.

The VanDevere Kia Fourth of July Sale advertises $1,670 in savings on the purchase of a 2016 Kia Forte LX, with financing available at zero-percent interest for qualified buyers. And VanDevere is offering SUV shoppers $2,930 savings on a 2016 Kia Sorento L.

Nissan dealers are running the Free to Choose Fourth of July Event, which includes deals like $2,760 in total savings on a 2016 Nissan Altima and a lease for $189 per month for 36 months with $1,899 due at signing on a 2016 Nissan Rogue SUV.

The Fourth of July Sales Event at Putnam Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Burlingame, California, features a lease on a 2016 Ram 1500 Express Crew Cab 4x2 pickup for $279 per month for 24 months with zero due at signing.

Subaru fans in the Columbus, Ohio area might want to check in with Hatfield Subaru, which says, "Make some fireworks of your own," with offers that include zero-percent financing on all new 2016 Subaru Forester models and 1.9-percent financing on 2017 Subaru Legacy models.

At the Red, White and Blue sales event at Don Jacobs Toyota in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, shoppers can take advantage of offers like zero-percent financing for up to 72 months on select models that include the 2016 Toyota Corolla and Camry sedans and the 2016 Toyota RAV4 SUV.

Note that most of these deals are limited-time offers, some apply only to the oldest vehicles currently in stock, and some are available only to existing customers. Also, offers can vary according to geographic area, trim level of the vehicle, the customer's credit rating and specific lease or financing terms.
