Spends more time in the shop than in my driveway.
With less than 100 miles on the truck. Whenever I shut my engine down after driving, I get audible clicks coming from either behind the dash board or behind the firewall where the brake master cylinder is. I guess that’s normal for how this vehicle locks the wheels after shutting down. The next issue is the collision avoidance system shows up as being unavailable (leading me to turn off the automatic emergency braking). Turns out the camera that monitors the front stopped working. After getting that replaced, the next day while I’m driving home the check engine light comes on. I take it back to the dealership I discover the bank 1 O2 sensor went out. Almost a week later it gets fixed. Don’t even drive it 15-20 miles, it comes back on, same sensor. This is all with less than 300 miles. It is a 2024 Colorado 4LT. Make sure you get a friend or family member to buy a gremlin bell for your truck, because this thing sure needs it. Update 7/16/2024 After driving to and through the WV mountains, I thought my truck was working properly…It decided to activate the frontal collision avoidance and lock the brakes up in the middle of the road. This is the straw the broke the camels back. Called GM and requested a manufactures buyback on this thing.

Defective 2024 Cilorado Trail Boss
After a week with my new 2024 Colorado the trasmission broke down. I have more than 30 days with out my truck, I don't see any sense of urgency from either the dealer or Chevrolet, this is clearly amajor issue but instead of changing the defective truck for a new one they are trying to fix the transmission changing the valvebody. NOW i dont want the truck and I might have to involve lawyers. . DONT GET A 2024 COLORADO Chevrolet

JUNK
Ordered a 2024 Colorado Trail Boss from Riverview Chevrolet in Irwin, PA. Came in on April 5, 2024. We drove in for 93 miles. Owned it for 9 days. Pulling out from traffic signal, transmission broke a hard part. So, our new 2024 Trail Boss is now a 'rebuilt' Trail Boss. Ask for a new truck replacement or a refund. Nothing but a repair. Maybe an extended warranty on transmission only. Never even drove this truck in the rain.
3k mile review
no problems so far..combined mpg is 20.7 at 3026 miles..nice power for a mid size truck..rides good handles good..
light safety
I have only had the truck for a week. so far so good, but one thing i find puzzling is why they put the light controls on the touch screen. technology is supposed to make things easier not more difficult. instead of just turning a switch to turn on the headlights if you run into fog or snow, you have to go to controls on the screen then to more controls, then to lights, and then turn on headlights. all this while driving, not very safe.
