2024 Chevy Equinox EV SUV Trims Comparison

The Equinox EV has an 11.5-kW onboard charger (adding up to 34 miles of range per hour) for Level 2 charging and has a maximum DC fast-charging speed of 150 kW (up to 70 miles of range in 10 minutes) for Level 3 charging. Feature highlights for each trim level include:

1LT
[Editor's note: The 1LT won't be available until late 2024. Chevrolet hasn't released complete official information on the 1LT as of this writing. We expect the 1LT to have the features below and we'll update this section once we have complete information.] The base trim comes standard with:

• 19-inch wheels
• LED headlights
• Single-zone automatic climate control
• Multi-color interior ambient lighting
• Digital instrument cluster
• 17.7-inch center touchscreen
• Google app integration 
• Six-speaker audio system

Every Equinox EV comes standard with the Chevy Safety Assist package of advanced driver aids. It includes:

• Automatic emergency braking (warns if a front impact is imminent and applies the brakes if you don't respond in time)
• Lane departure mitigation (warns you of a lane departure when a turn signal isn't used and can automatically steer to maintain lane position)
• Automatic high-beam headlights

2LT
The 2LT includes the features from the 1LT and adds:

• Auto-dimming rearview mirror
• Hands-free liftgate
• Power-adjustable driver's seat
• Synthetic leather upholstery
• Heated front seats
• Heated steering wheel

The 2LT also includes these advanced driver aids:

• Adaptive cruise control (adjusts speed to maintain a constant distance between the vehicle and the car in front)
• 360-degree camera system (gives you a top-down view of the Equinox EV and its surroundings in tight parking situations)
• Blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning (alerts you if a vehicle is in your blind spot during a lane change or while in reverse)
• Blind-spot intervention (automatically steers the car back into its lane if you try to change lanes while a car is in the vehicle's blind spot)
• Intersection collision mitigation (warns you of an impending collision at an intersection and applies the brakes in certain scenarios)
• Rear automatic braking (applies the brakes automatically to avoid an imminent collision with an object behind the vehicle)
• Rear parking sensors (alert you to obstacles that may not be visible behind the vehicle when parking)

2RS
Includes the above features and adds more flair with:

• 21-inch black wheels
• Black badging and exterior trim
• Black roof rails
• Red interior accents

The 2RS Launch Edition (only available for 2024) adds the Active Safety Package 3 (please see features below).

3LT
Building off of the 2LT trim, the 3LT adds:

• 21-inch wheels
• Power-adjustable front passenger seat
• Ventilated front seats
• Heated rear seats
• Dual-zone automatic climate control

3RS
The range-topping 3RS combines the features of the 3LT and sporty 2RS trims.

The Active Safety Package 3 is optional on any of the above trim levels except the 1LT. It consists of:

• Super Cruise (uses the vehicle's advanced driver aids to further provide hands-free driving capability on select highways)
• Automated parking system (steers into a parking spot with little or no driver intervention)

The Blackout package (black badging and black mirror caps) is optional on the 2LT and 3LT trims.

A sunroof is optional on any of the above trim levels.
