Chevy introduced an all-new Traverse for 2024, but it's not this one. The Traverse Limited reviewed here is a carryover of the old version. With minor differences in trim features, the 2024 Traverse Limited is the same as the 2023 Traverse. And that can be a good thing if you're looking to save some money and get an SUV with proven tech, a solid powertrain, and ample room for people and cargo.

Factor in that the Limited version was already a space leader in the segment and you've got an SUV that, for the same money as last year, can haul as much as or more than nearly every competitor. The Traverse can move eight adults in reasonable comfort. And it offers nearly 100 cubic feet of cargo space — approaching the space in some minivans — with its second and third rows folded. There isn't another three-row SUV in this segment with this much space at this price.

So much space

2024 Chevrolet Traverse Limited LT Cloth 4dr SUV (3.6L 6cyl 9A)

We upgraded from a Chevy trailblazer. There is soo much space in this suv. With 3 under 2, getting kids in and out is so easy with the middle captains chairs that slide forward. We love love love this suv glad we made the switch.

2024 Chevrolet Traverse Limited LT Leather 4dr SUV AWD (3.6L 6cyl 9A)

This is a fantastic SUV. Powerful responsive V-6 engine that sounds great taking off slowly as it works through the gears. And growls when you press hard on the accelerator. I suggest you put it in AWD if you plan on stomping it because it will smoke the tires if you don't. It handles the curves and twisties effortlessly.
