Worst uncaring service dept
by Mitch C on 01/07/2025Uncaring horrible service department. I own a Hyundai vehicle I purchased new from them in 2023. It takes months to get an appointment. Today my brake lights went out. I also had a warning on the dash. I called them to get a service… appointment and told them this was emergemt. No appointment unless I was will to wait for weeks. I asked to speak to a manager and was told no one was available. I asked for the GM name and was told they did not know. I went to a dealer in Northlake and was told to bring the car in immediately. They fixed in one hour. Their Managers name and cell phone number is posted for customers. I would advise anyone thinking of buying a Hyundai to go somewhere else. This is the most imcompetent dealership I have ever dealt with. They do not care about the customer. I dealt with them for Hyundai and KIA vehicles in the past but in the past year they have gone way downhill. I even left my number for a service manager to call. No one called. A total disgrace. Once again, if considering a Hyundai go to a different dealership or find a different brand.Melodramatic employee
by Amy Barber on 11/06/2024This is the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Had a phone conversation with the sales manager Cameron at 3 in the afternoon confirming they had the two vehicles that I wanted to see on the lot. Left work early and drove… 35 minutes specifically to this dealership arriving by 5 pm. I was told to ask for a sales manager and they knew I was coming because I expressed I did not want to waste my time driving there if the cars weren’t available. He assured me they were. I arrived at 5 pm and was given a sales person who put me on a golf cart and drove me around in the rain looking for the car instead of going to see if he could find it first. After looking for a while he told me it wasn’t available and I’d have to come back. I told him that I just spoke with someone 2 hours ago and they told me to ask for the sales manager so maybe they knew where the car was, and with that he got up and went into the manager box and told them he already told me the car isn’t there but I’m demanding to speak to a manager (loud enough for me to hear him in the waiting area). I explained that’s not really what happened, and the manager Tom explained that’s he was a melodramatic sales man . Pretty unprofessional all around; but long story short, both cars are in the service area and now that it’s AFTER 5:30, they can’t get them out. So I drove 35 minutes in the rain and got there a half an hour early only to be told that by the time the incompetent sales agent had figured out where the car was, we couldn’t see it.They have gotten even worse!
by Fitz on 08/22/2024updated 08/29/2024Always poorly run, they seem to have completely collapsed as a servicing station. Three days now without a returned call. Calls go right to voicemail for customers to leave a message, this at least spares you their excuses. Oy!Best car buying experience!!
by Charli on 07/10/2024The 2024 Hyundai Sante Fe calligraphy trim is what purchased!! The purchasing process was a breeze. I already knew exactly what I wanted and saw online they only had one in stock at their dealership. I had to have the Green calligraphy… trim with the light Beige interior and there was no budging on that for me so luckily when I saw that they had the car I called them and set up a test drive. When I arrived at the dealership, they had the car detailed and ready to go. I test drove it for 20 minutes, fell in love with it and went in to do the paper work. Everything took about 30 minutes because along with knowing what I already wanted I went ahead and did my credit report online through their website and had my insurance ready to go. As a buyer, I think you should do your due diligence and research and know exactly what you want or at least narrowed down to a few. It makes the whole process a lot easier and remember you can walk away at any point. So if you arrive and they don’t have it just leave. So with all these bait and switch scenarios I have heard about it which I’m sure it does happen, but if you clarify and ask for a pictures ahead of time, it can really save you the headache. I set up my test drive through Tommy which I believe is one of the sales managers, over the phone and when I arrived he set me up with Louis to then actually take me on the test drive and give me the ins and outs of the car. Louis was on top of it from the moment I stepped into the building to the time drove off. He handled everything very professionally and made sure I was in and out of there with exactly what I wanted and giving me a rundown on the car. So I left very happy and knowledgeable. I did go over the owners manual myself and read through the more technical features that the car had to offer (which by the way this car literally had almost everything you can think of from the Bluelink app, to all the driving assistance features to the convenience features to the luxury upgrades) HYUNDAI really took it to a whole new level with this new body style and interior. A couple of highlights for me is the suede headliner, the driver seat leg rest, and the UV sanitizing compartment which actually has been very convenient for me for my everyday items such as my phone, sunglasses and keys. Also Tommy made sure that I got the most money for my trade-in which I priced myself on Kelley blue book for $8100 but he was able to get me for $9550. Just pointing out the fact that he went above and beyond and all while respecting what I wanted, they didn’t try to sway me to get anything else and made it quick, fast and easy but without feeling like I was being rushed . Not at any moment I felt uncomfortable or pressured into something I didn’t want or didn’t want to do. Tommy also kept it in the price range that I was most comfortable with for my monthly payments which was very much appreciated. With the actual singing of the papers and closing the deal I had Jennifer. She was very personable and a pleasure to be around. And just made the last part of the whole process enjoyable where I was just left with excitement at the end of the day. A little advice if you are nice and patient and clear about what you want then they will be nice and patient and help you as much as they can. Doing your research and being prepared on your end, makes the whole process of buying a car much easier. I would recommend Wallace HYUNDAI of Stuart any day and I’m very happy with my purchase. Thank you guys for everything!!The WORST !!
by Althea on 03/30/2024One of the “WORST HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCES” I have had in my entire life. After going to only LOOK at a car I was interested in buying because mine was totaled from a accident and waiting for my insurance to pay off I was… PRESSURED ASSURED and GUARANTEED by sales man Tony and his Manager I did NOT have to wait. After spending hours waiting they tell me what I told them BUT said if I more $ it would WORK , Put more money up ask me to come back in they have done . Get there at time I told them. Sales person Tony was not there ,Finance person With customer I was told , ended up sitting waiting for another hour in lobby No one comes to inform me of anything, Explain to Receptionist I have to leave for work call sales guy and left message NO ANSWER TEXT and NO RESPONSE . Long story short the sales department experience at Wallace Hyundai Genesis in Stuart has Absolutely NO INTEGRITY OR MORAL STANDARDS when it comes to customer service . I literally left in tears after being strung along for 8 hours and my phone calls and text messages being ignored when all I needed was a straight answer either way. It’s 3:09 am I’m up and hurt and angry about the treatment after being pressured to being totally ignored. The WORST EXPERIENCE. I PRAY NO ONE ELSE EVER LEAVES THIS BUSINESS OR ANY OTHER BUSINESS LIKE I FELT and Still feeling 24 hours later….. SMH 😡💔Poor customer service for repeat clients.
by Richard Stuart Fl on 08/06/2023I purchased a Sonata Hyundai from Wallace Hyundai 10/22/2022. We financed the vehicle using Wallace Hyundai as the go between. We paid $159.00 for "Electronic Registration Filing Fee. We received a two year expiration tag maturing on Feb.… 9, 2024 from the DMV. On July 24,2023 my wife was stopped by the Palm Beach County police and was told she was driving an illegal vehicle. After checking her license and registration she was instructed to go to the DMV and see what the error is all about. Once there, she had to buy a new registration certificate that expires in 2024. I went to Wallace Hyundai on the 26th and spoke with Finance Manager Gary Bauer. Mr Bauer said that Wallace Hyundai was not responsible and that I should speak with the DMV. That afternoon I spent the next several hours waiting to speak with a DMV employee.(They were very crowded) The young lady at the DMV was very helpful and explained to me that someone at Hyundai voided out my original registration and substituted a 2023 expiration date. I went back to Wallace Hyundai and showed him the DMV registration record. Mr. Bauer said he knew nothing about the changing of the registration, but said he would reimburse me for the new registration fee that cost $43.10. It has been over a week since I produced my credit card statement showing where I had paid the DMV. As of 08/07/2023 we have not been paid. Over the last several years we have traded in 2 cars and purchased 4 cars from Wallace Hyundai. So much for being a loyal customer. Richard Z. Stuart, Fl.Likes to retaliate
by Wallace Hyundai is the worse on 02/09/2022I brought my car for the service manager Chris Robert to look at. I have a 2021 sonata limited. It came with a bumper to bumper warranty and a limited 12 month warranty. Which the service manager does not know, David Messinger the so called… director of service and Rusty Wallace have no clue about the manufacture warranty. My leather is peeling and a complaint was filed with Hyundai America about this. So when I went to pick up my vehicle there was a long scratch on the passenger side of the car. That scratch was not there prior to me dropping the vehicle off. Wallace amHyundai and there employees scratched the vehicle as of retaliation for me filing all these complaints that Wallace Hyundai will not honor the warranty. I also filed a police report and I am pursuing charges in the three names people above. They do not care and if you give them any resistance they will damage your car and what they did to me was to tell me they will not service my vehicle. Retaliation is against the law when you fight what you believe is warrantable. They think they are better then me. The Rusty Wallace the so called VP hides behind David Messinger. Do not bring your vehicle there or buy a car from these corrupt crooked deceitful and fake people. They took pictures of the scratch and Chris Smith stated to me that they would take care of it and Amir the GM stated that too and now they do not want to take responsibility when they have no proof that the scratch was there prior to me dropping off the vehicleBUYER BEWARE READ BEFORE YOU BUY
by Jim Dee on 11/02/2021BEWARE BEFORE YOU BUY A HYUNDIA. READ ALL The worst experience at a dealership. My key fob lost lost its code to connect to my vehicle. Resulting me to unable to start my car. So here I am stuck. The key fob requires a 4 digit code to… reconnect to my car. This dealer refused to give me the code so I can get it reprogramed. They wanted to to get my car towed to their dealership so they can reprogram the the fob reap the money!!!!. This dealership lied to me and when confronted with the lies, It was admitted by David that the service department did lie to me. I was told we can't give you the code as someone could steal your car..........My repsone was , Let me worry about that. I then said, It's my car and I paid for the car which includes the code! After some conversation that got ugle David cursed mulitable times at me saying get the F@$K out of here and dont come back. He didnt say it once he said this multible times to me.... a customer. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!! The cost of a new remote to included programing was between at the dealership $325.00 - $375.00 plus the tow. I found a Licensed locksmith who program my remote and came to me for $150.00. If you need a remote dont buy at the dealership. DON'T BY A HYUNDIA OR ANY CAR FROM THIS DEALER.Worst expierence of my life
by Beth T on 06/28/2021This dealership is [non-permissible content removed] towards African American people. I came in to trade in my car for 2 days. after they kept hounding me to run my credit because they were so sure they couldn't give me any numbers without… (which is a lie) . And then came with ridiculous numbers after i was strict about the price payments i wanted to stay in . I spoke with both Ben and Amir and they both were rude and very unprofessional. They talked to me like i was nobody. I had to asked 4 different people twenty times to speak to Amir he is the general manager( to speak with him about how i was being treated ) And when he came he had an attitude just to come and speak with me . I would not recommend going to this dealership they are all about the dollar not the customers.Best experience!!

by Tega Ejakpovi on 03/20/2021Wallace Hyundai did a great job beyond my expectation. Searching for an affordable car that has my spec wasn't quite easy until I finally saw the exact car I wanted in Wallace Hyundai. After checking reviews, I immediately contacted Wallace… Hyundai and a service agent, John Randall reached out to me. My concern was the location because I am in Connecticut and Wallace Hyundai is in Florida. I couldn't travel to Florida for a drive test and vehicle inspection because of my tight job schedule. Guys!!! John Randall was fantastic, he was so genuine, detailed and smart. He was available for calls 24/7, his constant communication was awesome. He literally bought my confidence and gave me a personalized service. At this point, I decided trust Wallace and proceed with the purchase online. I did all my purchase, paper works and transaction online. Then my car was shipped to me in Connecticut, behold it was more than my expectation. No dent, no scratch, full gas tank...lol, customized key holder. Mehn! I will trust this company over and over again for my next purchase. I recommend Wallace Hyundai 100% . Thank you John Randall of Wallace. Great Job.Avoid Wallace Hyundai in Stuart, FL
by Avoid Wallace Hyundai on 09/20/2020Wallace Hyundai: These are not honest people, no integrity. They will waste your time and not represent used cars properly. Wasted 2 days of my time including a vacation day and for nothing. Many fees. Discourteous, rude. Will not fix… damage – expecting customer to fix damage that other auto sellers routinely fix – as part of ripping you off. Avoid. You have been warned. No sales made here
by TMK on 05/28/2020I went in with my son to trade our leases in for new ones. Their lease deals said $139 for Sonata and $149 for Tucson. They never even came anywhere near those prices. Even if we put the $1999 down they were both well over $150 higher… per month than what they advertised. The salesman, Mark, was very nice; management never even came over to speak with us. We actually saw him eye rolling us! Deceptive advertising.AMAZING EXPERIENCE W/Jennifer Davis
by Jessicahornexo on 10/18/2017Ahhhhhh. Writing this review with so much joy. Im not a review writer but I couldnt end the day without raving about my experience with Jennifer & Samir today at Wallace. With a much less than perfect credit score, I have been absolutely… DREADING the process of attempting to get a new car. I came in today and left with a beautiful 2014 Lexus. The customer service and professionalism I received today was outstanding, not to mention the ease of the process. I was able to get approved and get into the car I wanted while dealing with amazing, personable and efficient staff. They have a HUGE selection of inventory to pull from & they even detailed my car and filled up the tank while I waited. 5+ stars! Ill be sending everybody I know. ASK FOR JENNIFER DAVIS!Horrible Service and Management Intervention
by JEPate5020 on 07/10/2017Dealer was not completely forthcoming about the condition of the vehicle and it required additional services to be performed upon receiving the vehicle, including requiring front brakes. There was unreported body damage on the rear bumper… that was not painted in the same shade as the rest of the vehicle. Dealership management was very uncooperative and unwilling to address these concerns, which left me spending an additional $1,500 in maintenance and repairs. Buyer beware and make sure you inspect the vehicle well before making a purchase. My salesperson was Glenn Geng.Wallace Hyundai....SUPERB
