    We had another positive experience purchasing our 2017 F250 at Deery Brothers Ford in Iowa City. This is our second purchase at Deery and we are very pleased. Sales, parts and service all exceeded our expectations with the numerous requests we had. Our next vehickle purchase will, without a doubt, be from them.

    Matt the sales guy was very knowledgeable - did appropriate followup. Sales Manager was also excellent - straightforward and honest. Finance guy was also good - especially for the finance guy (have had bad experiences with finance guy).

    I didn't feel any pressure and felt they were really trying to do what was best for me. They took their time and had me drive several vehicles before I decided. I was given time to do research and make a decision.

    The dealer did not have the truck I wanted in stock but the located the vehicle at another dealer and they were able to offer the same deal and even had the car delivered .

    I recently purchased a 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid and I absolutely love it. It took me over 5 months going from dealer to dealer. The sales man at Deery sold my mom her car and loved her experience. I worked with the same sales man. I went back to Deery over 4 times without any pressure to buy. They just wanted me to find the right car for me.

    I told the salesman that I had researched my trade in and the car I was interested in and only wanted to know the exact amount of the check they would need for me to drive it off the lot. How surprising to be given just that and at a price that I believed to be great. There was no oops we forgot a fee or the car didn't include something we talked about when it was time to pay. That was after working with me to find what I wanted.

    Everything from shopping to the sales write up, the way the truck was cleaned for delivery to the explanation of the awesome features was excellent! That's why I buy local, from the team at DEERY BROTHERS FORD LINCOLN. They're just great people.

    From the moment we stepped on the lot at Deery there was someone there to help. There was no pressure. The sales man Bill listened to me and found exactly what I wanted and the price I wanted to pay. My family has now bought 4 vehicles at this location.

    I rarely write these reviews but Deery Ford and in particular Kayvon and Bill really are nice salesman who don't pressure you at all. Its my second car I've purchased from this dealership, a Focus was my first and now I upgraded to the Fusion. Great car and nice dealership. !!

    I seen a newspaper Ad for Chezik which promoted a $2000 Guarantee for trade-in. The add is the reason I contacted Chezik regarding purchase of a 2010 Ford Expedition. Patrick was my sales person. Patrick located a car, a price negotiated and agreed to. I advised I would be trading a vehicle. Patrick stated that the Trade-in promotion was not applicable to this sale, only in stock vehicles. I directed Patrick to the Ad which did not make any such stipulation. He then indicated that it had expired. Again, the Ad did not indicate an expiration. I then directed him to the Chezik website which sported the same add under their "Managers Specials". I indicated I may not be interested in the sale, he then put me on hold, came back a few moments later and advised that he discussed the matter with his manager and they would honor their advertisement and extend a $2000 trade amount for the vehicle I was going to trade. The deal is back on. Ford Financing at a low rate was also a promotion desired, and the deal is contingent upon the financing being available. Now, the vehicle originally located suddenly became unavailable. I get a call from Patrick to tell me the car is gone. He has located another, it is almost $1000 higher in price. I told him to secure the vehicle and proceed with the sale. I then get a call from Patrick and he states that he could not secure the second vehicle. Finally he gets back to me indicating that he cannot find a suitable vehicle. He will order a vehicle, which would take 8-10 weeks to deliver, but financing would be contingent on any financing at that the time of the delivery. Of course, the risk of 1.9% financing now vs, possible 5%+ at the time of delivery of a new car was a risk I was unwilling to make. The deal was off. I searched over the weekend on the internet and found similar type vehicles available at dealers within a 300 mile radius of Cedar Rapids. I found 5 that were identical to what I was looking for. I called Patrick back, he now states that the reason the original sale did not occur is because his General Manager would not allow him to honor the $2000 Trade promotion in conjunction with my sale. He would, however, secure one of these vehicles for me, but would not provide trade incentive. The Trade-in incentive was the reason I called them in the first place. If you are going to consider doing business with Chezik Bell Ford franchise, I would be wary of promises and commitments made by the dealership, because I found, in my case, their word is worth little. I can only imagine that once a sale is complete, it is worth even less. There are plenty of other Ford franchises in the eastern Iowa area, and I have found that many of them are much more honorable than Chezik. I believe the phrase is, "Buyer beware."

    I have a very specific truck in mind and believe in the TMV found on Edmunds. After weeks of research, it has proven itself accurate in every instance. I stopped at Chezik Bell Ford to look at a Certified 2005 F150 Crewcab. They only had 3 used F150s on the lot. The salesperson came out, told us he was an assistant manager and gave me their asking price $19,949...which was $2,500 over the TMV. I figured we were close enough to make it worth my while to test drive it. The vehicle was fine, and I offered $500 below dealer retail TMV....it pays to go in armed with the Edmunds appraisal sheet. At that point the assistant manager started shuffling with papers to show me his mistake. The "actual" asking price was $22,481, BUT he could perhaps knock 5% off of that. I stood there wondering how anyone could look me in the eye, lie to me, know that I know he was lying, and not be totally ashamed. If he truly didn't know the "real" asking price before I test drove the vehicle, he has no business working there much less being a manager. I would have walked without the test drive had I been aware of what they were really asking. I can only assume Chezik Bell sells only to the uninformed, as no one who knows the TMV would entertain their gamesmanship and unethical attempts to drag the process out, dangle the shiney bait, and then talk you into a fiscally foolish agreement. This was the second time I'd dealt with Chezik Bell, and I was treated in a disingenuous manner the first time as well. They will not receive a third opportunity.

    Both sales people I worked with were pleasant, low-key professionals. Initially I wasn't sure if I was going to get a new car or if I wanted a Focus HB or a new Escape. I was able to initially test a Focus and then a few weeks later when I had firmed up plans an Escape that had come in. We were quickly able to agree on a price if they could locate the car I wanted. As it turned out, an Escape was in transit that was acceptable to me and a week later I was able to pick it up. There was no pressure applied to buy an extended warranty or rust/upholstery protection packages. They knew upfont it was a cash transaction with no trade so that saved some time. My only complaints are that it took a long time for the paperwork to be filled out and the car was not completely prepped despite 24 hours notice of when I would be there. In the long run, inconsequential complaints.
