With her very spirited attitude and confident professionalism she provided the best car buying experience we have ever… experienced. She ensured we had the USAA military member discount on our new 2013 1SS Camaro. She also included some very nice options in the vehicle that I wanted and forgot to mention like the RS package, and remote start. Jennifer kept us informed on all phases of the buyers experience, and most or all, she did not waste our valuable time and quickly delivered our new Camaro as promised. I totalled my new 2012 Nissan 370Z and she was the only sales person at a dealership in Mobile, Al who offered me and provided me with a new loaner Camaro SS while mine was being delivered. by 6of6z71 on 02/12/2014updated 04/27/2025A few weeks ago I went to Terry Thompson Chevrolet looking for a 4-wheel drive Tahoe but stumbled upon a Tungsten Metallic Silverado that had been strategically located next to the dealership entrance and dressed up with 285/65/20 BFG AT… tires, a 2" leveling kit, a spray-in bedliner and low-profile tool box. Though operating under a serious disadvantage--I had to have it--I was fortunate to have been dealing with a particularly agreeable salesman, Cliff S. No hustle, no high pressure nonsense, just a laid back approach to telling me what I needed to know about the truck and helping me figure out whether a deal could get done. Which it did. Ordinarily, I'd rather a trip to the dentist than to a car dealership, but the experience at Terry Thompson and with Cliff was top notch.all star ecition 1500 2 wd Chevy Silverado Z71

I usually deal with Max S. here, but he was on vacation and Mike D. assisted me and was very helpful. I work offshore and was on the boat… and we did everything via telephone and email and it was GREAT!! All my wife had to do was go in and sign the paperwork. I added some accessories to the vehicle and they said it would take a couple of days to get it ready and since they had already used her 2010 Avalanche as a trade in, they put loaned her a 2013 Silverado 1500 until hers was ready so she could get used to the bigger truck. We purchased a 2013 Silverado 1500 1LT with the All-Star Package on it because our Avalanche would not pull our 30' travel trailer safely. I was looking at a Silverado 2500HD, but Mike informed me that it was a beast and did not get as good gas mileage as the Silverado 1500LT would. He also informed me that the Silverado would do the job and it would cost me quite a bit of money less. On a scale of 1-10, I definately give Terry Thompson Chevy, Mike D. and the rest of the staff at the dealership a 10+ rating and highly recommend them to everyone. They were as courteous then, for a used car purchase, as they were this past weekend, for a new higher-end… Tahoe. Everyone we came in contact with, from sales staff to management to Finance, treated us with respect and courtesy. Mike D., the Internet Sales Manager and our principal contact, stayed with us through the process. Even though I conducted extensive research prior to visiting the showroom, there were still unanswered questions that they were happy to help with. I would always recommend doing research before ever setting foot on any car lot, but with this dealership, once you were there, it was a no-hassle, low pressure experience2013 Silverado Purchase

But this not the case with the Terry Thompson internet sales manager. Mike D. is quick to… respond and has the authority to make decisions without the going back and forth of the typical car buying experience. He laid everything out in such a way that it was understandable and made the decision easy, even if I had chosen not to buy at the time. This is the third vehicle I have bought from Terry Thompson and I will probably do it again.Great

He spent all the time that was needed to find out what we wanted and then worked to get it… for us right away. My initial test drive was a little bumpy (seems there was a tire problem), but Max went the extra mile and had the problem resolved. When you buy a new truck, you expect it… to feel like a new truck. On the price negotiations we requested to see if we could talk to the sales manager since we did not understand why Terry Thomson could… not meet the price or close to the price we had obtained from the Chevrolet website. We were offered a car with less features than what we had on paper and for a higher price. At the moment, we were sitting and I sincerely believe that that we addressed everyone with respect and courtesy. When Mr. Clay B. arrived, he placed his foot on the table while talking to me and my wife. It calls my attention that this position is very uncomfortable to sustain during a conversation but I believe that Mr. B. was trying to make a point. I quickly realized that I could not talked to Mr. B. since he was not interested on what I had to say. I understand he is a busy man and I might have been taking him away of his duties but I feel that we did not deserved a sarcastic statement telling me that I had worked the system or wasted their time. Mr. Clay B. was very rude and never allow me to explain my concerns with his proposal so that he could explain if he could meet my requirements. Mr. B.also fail to understand that I wanted to buy a car from Terry Thompson since we had had a very good experience the last time we bought a car at this location. I was very clear to all that if I did not feel comfortable with the price, my intentions were to wait and build a larger down payment and still buy the car from Terry Thomson. This is the closest Chevrolet dealership to my house and your maintenance department is great. After careful consideration we decided that the foot on the desk deal from the sales manager is more than what we would accept from someone we are trying to do business with. We will go ahead and try our luck on the internet and evaluate if it is worth buying from Terry Thompson Chevrolet (Who I do not blame for the actions of an individual) or not.Very Satisfied

He followed up with us all day as we kept coming up with additional questions for him to research. When… we showed up to sign our paperwork, it was all ready and we were out of their quickly.... Not like many dealerships that hold you hostage until you are so hungry and tired, you just give up. This is the 3rd vehicle we have bought from Terry Thompson and would recommend them to everyoneGreat Staff!
