by gmatthieu on 07/01/2015My wife and I were previous Kendall Ford customers and with great regret, traded in our 2013 Ford Explorer for a 2015 GMC Acadia with Alaska Sales & Service Wasilla. Only 4 days into our new GMC we started having problems and the spiral… began. The customer service and care was awful my wife and I were both treated like children and liars. Due to our regret to leave both Ford and Kendall, we returned to take on the venture of trading in a vehicle still equipped with dealer plates. From the moment we walked back onto Kendall property, it felt like home. we were greeted with respect and treated like humans, additionally the care to help heal the wounds from Alaska Sales & Service can not be explained in words. John V. (Salesman) and Joe S. (Finance Manager) were the two gentlemen we dealt with primarily and both deserve public recognition for their efforts above and beyond normal operations to help my family of four into a new vehicle that was cost effective due to the high negative equity as well as safe and comfortable. We purchase our Acadia on May 31, 2014 and traded it in to Kendall on June 29, 2015 for a brand new 2014 F-150 XLT. We are commuters into Anchorage from Palmer and LOVE the truck, the fuel economy is better than the Acadia, not to mention the comfortable ride, size of the cabin and the additional safety features of a full size truck. I will always recommend Kendall Ford of Wasilla, John and Joe to everyone that I know. I have been talking regularly to my coworkers and friends about the help and genuine care the employees exhibited during our extreme dissatisfaction with your competitor. Thank you for everything that your team at Kendall Ford of Wasilla was able to do. Kendall knows what the true meaning of customer service really is. WELL DONE!! I didn't have an appointment, just showed up, and my salesman Bruce listened to what I wanted and helped me find it. He was polite, courteous, patient and very helpful.… Joe in Finance was a pleasure to work with, as well. It was, by necessity, a long(er) process, but it was pleasant and easy. I would recommend any friend to make the drive from Anchorage to Wasilla to buy their Ford from Kendall.great service team

by DeanLinder on 06/25/2015Our salesman, Jeff Ford, was very helpful and was able to get us a better deal on financing through Ford Motor Credit than our Bank was able to offer us. This was a difficult sale for Jeff as we live in Valdez Alaska and all of our talks… were over the phone before we actually went in to get the truck. The only thing I did not like was the fact that I wanted a set of studded tires in this deal and the dealership just told me they weren't available this time of year so I did not get them. Being able to drive to Anchorage for part of the winter is important to us here in Valdez and those studded tires were an important part of the deal that I wanted included. So now I will have to find the rims and obtain the tires at a latter date that will most likely involve an extra trip to Anchorage. Overall our experience with Kendall Ford was a very good one and people we know here in Valdez have highly recommended Kendal Ford. I have always been a Ford truck person having driven nothing but Ford trucks most of my life. I hope to develop a great relationship with Kendall Ford. Thanks for a good experience!Quick and easy

However when we arrive for our scheduled appointment the representative told us they were running an hour and a half late. I had made the appointment an hour… and a half before showing up so I was concerned and baffled why an appointment would be made when their work load was already backed up. We ended getting the service completed in a timely manner.Lack of Inventory is disappointing
by RRonning84 on 06/14/2015Purchased a new F-350 XLT. Disappointed in the lack of selection for both the used and new trucks. This is Alaska, KEEP TRUCKS IN STOCK!!! So, we wanted to purchase a 2013-2014 F-450 Dually....but, there are NONE anywhere. You would think… that the used car manager at Kendall never heard of attending auctions. The used car side of Kendall barely had 70 vehicles and half those were cars and the rest were 1/2 ton pickups of various brands. Not a dually in sight. Not even a F-350 dually. Shame. Not only that....there wasn't a single 2015 F-450 dually on the lot!!! Again...Alaska....if you are sold out, it probably means you didn't buy enough...so get your butt to an auction and add some stock to your lot! Anyhow...as we were leaving the lot, we drove around back of the dealership to leave and we happened to see a 2015 F-350 sitting at the back service. We stopped to look at it and another salesperson came out...it was the best truck we'd seen...so we drove it. Talked to the salesperson for a bit...complained about the lack of 2013-2014 F-450 and F-350s on the lot. Then we left. Got home....looked at the inventory ONLINE and found a 2014 F-350 listed in their inventory....called the salesperson. Found out the 2014 was out front with the NEW cars which is why we didn't see it on the used lot. Went back the next day...drove the 2014 F-350 but settled on the 2015 F-350 instead since the price wasn't much higher. In the end....didn't get the color or the truck we really wanted. The LACK of inventory was shocking. But, nice truck...and overall generally good service.Thank you for your review, we appreciate your feedback. Very fast and friendly and I love the new service center! Plus I paid under what the… quoted it would cost and that is always a plus.Kendall Ford of Wasilla ROCKS!

Even though I had my own financing pre approved, I was told that Ford would be happy to do a loan for me. I wanted to keep the business local as I… am from Soldotna, AK. There was no waiting time to get my truck in and they had it finished and I was back on the road within an hour. Fast… and friendly service. It was great! Thanks!Best oil change ever!

The wait was long but that's to be expected when buying a new vehicle but once everything went through I was… fast and easy. I will defiantly go back again. I can't remember if they showed me an online quote. Was a long dayGreat service and knowledgeable sales rep.
