  • Unbelievable experience! Only place I will buy a Toyota

5 out of 5 starsby Thg on 10/31/2023

Everyone was fantastic to work with. I had a tight schedule and needed to get in and out, and they came through to get me on my way. They did a great job of telling me my add on options, but without adding ANY pressure. I have never had a more comfortable experience buying a vehicle. Well done!
    • We are very pleased you had a great purchase experience with our team. We do our very best to be transparent and efficient with our customers, thank you for the recognition.

  • STAY AWAY!

1 out of 5 starsby Maria DLH on 10/02/2023

Worst experience of my life, I’ve purchased multiple new Toyotas from different dealerships in the valley, and never have I had an experience like this one. I work in the car industry, so I know how it goes. Last year I purchased a car here and everything went smoothly, so I decided to come back, Worst mistake of my life, I told them what I wanted, and they said they could have it in 5 days (even tho all the other dealerships were telling me 2-3 weeks). So, I was like cool, let’s do it, if it’s only going to be 5 days. We started over 1k for a monthly payment until we got to 600 and something, ok? That should have been my first red flag. Second red flag is that it was all written on a blank piece of paper with a marker, they refused to print it out for me to understand it better until I got to finance. They said they would give me 47k for my truck, when I got to finance the paperwork said 44k, then when I asked why he said the rest was discounting the taxes and fees. I have NEVER been charged taxes and fees on a trade in. Then they said they could only get me a lower interest rate unless I added warranties, IT’S A TOYOTA IT DOES NOT NEED ANY WARRANTIES. Then after I signed, I tried talking to one of the sales managers to see why they lied to me and not one of them wanted to come out to talk to me. It took over a week to get my car. And we did not learn enough, we decided to purchase a second vehicle for my brother, this one did arrive sooner. The sales guy told us to go on a certain day and we did but they would not let us take the car until the funds clear? I have purchased so many Toyotas from different Toyota dealers and I have never heard that you can’t take a car until the funds clear. They said we had an approval from Toyota financial the day the contract was made so it makes so sense as to why they need the funds to clear. So, none takes the cars home the same until funds clear? Makes no sense, you guys need to learn to be more transparent with customers and stop giving people the runaround, so unprofessional. I should not have to reach out to the GM so I could get answers, and GM didn’t even reach out directly, shows how much they care. Don’t sign a contract with no car like we did or they will ghost you after they get your signature. STAY AWAY!
    • We apologize for your negative experience and for any confusion or miscommunication that occurred during your car purchasing process. We understand your frustration and will make sure to address these concerns with our team. If you would like to discuss this further, please feel free to contact us via email or call. • Tell me you don’t want to service my Tacoma without telling me

1 out of 5 starsby Luke Jackson on 09/14/2023

Call dealership to replace rear bearings and seals on 2001 Tacoma. They tell me flat rate is $1,200, so I bring it in. They look at it, all day, and call me late to say it will be $2,200 plus tax, cuz brakes were soaked with gear lube. No [non-permissible content removed], brakes have to come off to press off and on bearings, spacers and seals. So I buy Toyota parts from camelback Toyota dealer, $400 and pay local machine shop to press off and on parts ($142) and do all the work myself in about six hours. Right Toyota always makes me feel dirty and used.
    • We are deeply sorry to hear about your recent experience with our dealership regarding the service on your 2001 Tacoma. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns. We apologize for any inconvenience and frustration you may have experienced.

  • After driving a TRX I bought a new Tundra.

    5 out of 5 starsby Luke T on 09/06/2023

No kidding, after driving a TRX next door I decided last second I should try a Tundra just in case before spending $100k. What a suprise I had. The Tundra is fast, solid build, good quaility, and nice Interior. Ian Stone quickly let me drive three different models. No hassel. No price haggling, and I just bought it for sticker price and saved my headache of the TRX maintenance that would surely come after 30,000 miles.
    • Luke, thank you very much for your kind feedback regarding the Tundra purchase at Right Toyota. The Tundra is an awesome vehicle which will provide you with many years of safe reliable service. Enjoy your new Tundra and thank you very much for being our customer. Matt W. - CR Mgr. - Right Toyota

  • Buyer Beware!

    1 out of 5 starsby Donna N on 09/03/2023

New buyer beware if you are trading in a vehicle. The sales part of the new car purchase and trade in went smoothly. However, it took Right Toyota almost 2 months to payoff the trade in, resulting in two months of late payments and a drop in my credit score of more than 100 points. The finance manager, Ryan Jenny wasn't able or willing to resolve the issue, he turned me over to accounting, I left four voicemails and never received a call back. My message left for General Sales Manager, Jamie Steinseifer was not returned, it wasn't until Matthew Winter a Customer Sales Manager stepped in that I finally had some answers. They clearly dropped the ball. It's been almost 3 months since the purchase of the new vehicle and I am still disputing the reports on my credit, to no fault of my own. Totally unacceptable!
    • Donna, we sincerely apologize for all the frustration and inconvenience resulting from the payoff of your trade vehicle. We hope the situation resolves quickly with the assistance I provided. Please contact me if you need any addition help resolving the situation. Matt W. - CR Mgr. - Right Toyota / mwinter@righttoyota.com

  • Seamless Car Buying Excellence at Right Toyota!

    5 out of 5 starsby Sumit S on 07/04/2023

recently purchased a Toyota Camry Hybrid from Right Toyota, and I must say my car buying experience was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, the team at Right Toyota went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. Under the guidance of Internet Sales Manager Adrain, I received prompt and attentive assistance. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire process effortless. Additionally, Ken, the finance manager, provided clear explanations, making the paperwork a breeze. His professionalism and transparency were truly appreciated. A special mention goes to Nick Sharma, the Director of Right Toyota, whose hands-on approach and commitment to customer satisfaction were evident throughout my visit. His attention to detail and dedication to a seamless experience truly set this dealership apart. I was impressed by the efficiency of the process; I was in and out of the dealership in no time. The professionalism exhibited by the entire team ensured that there were no hidden surprises or tricks. The test drive and explanation of features were thorough, leaving me confident in my purchase decision. In short, my car buying experience at Right Toyota was a delight. The combination of exceptional service, transparent paperwork, and a friendly atmosphere created the best transition I have ever had when buying a car. I highly recommend Right Toyota to anyone seeking a positive and stress-free car buying experience.

  • Tried to buy a car. Sales person could not even make it to the meeting.

1 out of 5 starsby Eric on 05/09/2023

Anthony, the sales person and my point of contact, asked me to leave a 5-Star review as way "give [him] leverage to get the markup reduced." We setup up an appointment for 4 PM on Saturday. Thursday before the appointment I sent 1 text asking him to email me the paperwork he was planning on showing me Saturday. No response. Friday I sent another text "Hey Anthony! Any updates for me?" No response. Saturday I sent another text "Hey Anthony - haven't heard back from you in a couple days. What's going on?" No response. A person, who I will assume is a manager called me at 3:00 to confirm our appointment. The caller said our appointment was at 5. I clarified that we had changed the time to 4 and he said that should work and whatever works for me. He said he would contact Anthony. Four o'clock comes around and no call or contact so I called the dealer. The super kind receptionist was able to transfer me to him. I let him know that I had been trying to contact him that past couple days and his response was "I lost my phone and all my contacts." Instead of having our scheduled meeting, he said he would call me back in 5 minutes. He never called back.
    • Ejbluth, we sincerely apologize for the lack of communication, how frustrating. We will use your review and comments to coach and improve communication with customers. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention, we will do our best to make the best out of an unpleasant situation. Matt W. - CR Mgr. - Right Toyota

  • Treated me like a child

    1 out of 5 starsby Colten H on 05/06/2023

I have never been more disrespected by a sales manager in my life. I have been working with Logan Mullany (he is great and very knowledgeable!). I drove up today from Yuma (3hrs away) to arrange a reservation for a 23 Tundra. I was told it had to be in person so I cleared the day to make the trip. Half way up the drive I was told Logan my sales guy wouldn’t be there and someone else was going to take his place. I was ok with that and under the impression I’d be taken care of. Upon arriving the sales guy that I was put with was unaware of my situation and my goals for purchasing a new truck. I felt like I was starting from scratch. Once we found a truck that I was ready to reserve we started talking numbers and the sales manager immediately came over to get involved. After doing the math together and crunching all the numbers I made my offer and they left to run the numbers on their end. I was left there for roughly 10 min (which isn’t unusual at dealerships) before they rejoined me. When they rejoined the sales manager told me “You did your math wrong, I don’t know how you came up with this figure.” We sat there together and came up with the number together so I was caught by surprise with that statement. After the sales manager then began to explain the math to me like I was a child (I am a very well educated person) I decided it was time for me to go and that myself and my time were not respected at the dealership. I have now lost an entire day and drove 6 hours for nothing. The sales manager also lied to my face when I asked about the market adjustment fee. He told me that it was a nation wide standard for Toyota due to the inflated vehicle prices. After I left I called 2 more dealerships and neither one said that they charged a market adjustment fee and both dealerships recommended I walk away as they felt it was a shady tactic to get more money out of customers.
    • Colten, we are sorry you had a difficult experience with our team. Some new Toyota models (Especially Tundra) have market adjusted pricing. Some dealers add MSRP addendums with worthless dealer added items to increase the price. Customers are told they can purchase the vehicle as sticker, but it is actually the adjusted sticker including the addendum and increased price. Our dealership is very transparent with our market adjustment and we do not add unnecessary items. You have worked with us on multiple occasions in an attempt to purchase a vehicle, but we have never been successful agreeing on price, vehicle, or terms. Each time we have worked with you it has taken multiple hours with no sale. Our sales manager was brief and to the point so we are sorry you took offense. Also, whenever a customer contacts a different dealer regarding the pricing of another dealer, that customer will be told to "walk away" or they are being "ripped off." Calling another dealer is the very least reliable source of information. Matt W. - CR Mgr. - Right Toyota

  • Shiny on the Outside but NOT so Shiny on the Inside

1 out of 5 starsby Disappointed For Sure on 04/09/2023
    updated 05/05/2023

Poor communication! Overall, this dealer is a disappointment. The sales process went smoothly as they are eager to sell you a new vehicle but once that’s done, it’s good riddance. This dealer falls short in my expectations. Service, Parts as well as the Management. I regret my purchase!

  • Over 4 hour wait for a simple oil change

    1 out of 5 starsby G Davis on 04/21/2023

I waited over four hours for an oil change. I was never told that there would be a long wait. My time from work is just a valuable as Right Toyota’s time. Obviously, Right Toyota has so much business they don’t need my friends or families’ service or purchase business !
    • G Davis, we are very sorry for the long wait for your recent oil change. We value every customer's business and we apologize for taking up so much of your work day. We are working on expanding our service infrastructure and staffing to accommodate the increased demand for service. • Sales Failure

1 out of 5 starsby Paul on 03/31/2023

My complete review from Yelp on 03/28/2023: I brought my car in for servicing as prompted by Right Toyota. But 2 days earlier I came in to buy a car for my Daughter. To make a long story short, the sales manager was very dismissive with me, as he was not happy with the way I was negotiating for a Toyota Supra. He refused to participate in the negotiations, leaving me no other choice but to continue to tell him what I wanted to pay. At my 2nd offer he got up with an aggressive attitude and said we were done and stalked off. This was after I told him that we were long time customers, at least 20 years and have purchased several cars with Right Toyota. That didn't seem to matter, as the negotiations were stopped cold. He made no attempt to maybe put me in another car. So I left and ended up purchasing a KIA EV6, about the same price point of the Supra I test drove. I was amazed how it was so easy for him to not only lose a sale, but lose a long time customer as well. I called the same day and spoke with the Store manager, he didn't seem to care. When I came in for my servicing I spoke with another store manager, I think his name was Zach. He said he would look into it and offered a verbal apology, and said he would find out what happened and get back to me. He hasn't as of yet. So I ask you, who is reading this, Is this how you train your management crew, to treat long time customers with disdain and aggression? I would like a formal written apology, not that I expect that to be forthcoming. Update, a month later: About a month ago, I sent a message to Matt W - CR Mgr.(Who responded to my review, (Rather weakly, I might add) and expressed my disappointment as to how, being a long time customer, I was treated at Right Toyota (No one should be treated as I was, long time customer or no)! and requested a formal written apology from the Sales Manager that was so dismissive and aggressive with me. Well, I did I not get a letter of apology, I also never received a follow up call from Matt W. - CR Mgr. Thus proving to me that they really don't care about losing me as a customer. Throughout my long history I must've purchased/leased at least 1/2 dozen cars from Right Toyota. I guess they felt they had enough customers and chose to ignore me. Update: You can read Matt W's response to me on Yelp For reasons unknown,Yelp didn't post my response to him, so I shall summarize: As far as not deserving a formal written apology, the Sales Manager, knowing I was a long time customer and still disrespecting and being very aggressive, rude and short with me for the crime of negotiating for the best possible price. That is deserving of a formal written apology. Gauging my interest and thinking I misled them by offering 200.00 a month? (Matt W CS Mgr doesn't know this as he was absent during that short sales failure). in reality, I offered the monthly I am currently paying for my Camry (leased to me by Right Toyota), which is about $450.00 a month. We all got a good chuckle at that. When the sales manager said I was not serious, I replied, "Sure, I am! If you agreed to my offer, I would take two! more chuckles. if my offer was not appreciated, too bad, that is their job, it's up to them to overcome and close the deal, not standing up and and proclaiming that we are done in a very snarky tone and then stalking off in a huff! Me thinks better, and continuous training would fix that! And finally, when Matt W CR Manager admitted to me in the attached response that they matched their attitude to match mine. That, my dear readers, is extremely petty, in both action, and the fact that he admitted it to me. Matt W CR Mgr , in his response to my review shows a perfect example of being gaslighted (not accepting any responsibility on him or Right Toyota but instead putting the blame squarely on my shoulders). It's too bad that Matt W CR Mgr didn't think I was worthy of a formal apology letter. It's very telling, it tells me that he was taking the side of the sales manager (strange, as he was not present during that short time I spent with him). instead of a very good customer that has always made timely payments for the 20 some years of my business with Right Toyota, either that or he was engaged in a Power trip with me. Probably both.
    • Standing by my prior response, Paul, formal written apologies are only written when there is something to apologize for. We asked to gauge your level of interest before driving a showroom sports car, we felt misled as you offered us $200 per month to buy the vehicle after driving it. The Supra is a specialty vehicle which is very difficult to sell when they have more than 10 miles or so on the odometer. We matched our attitude with yours. We wish you the best with your Kia.
