Horrible Experience, beware of this dealer
by younikwoo on 09/24/2009I drove pass this dealer in Chinese community in LA once a week. I am looking for an SUV recently, so I decided to stop by and test drive an x5. I am a Chinese, so I was greeted by a Chinese salesman. His English is not that good so I… missed a few word from him, which made he think I don't speak good English either(which is not the case). Then he asked if we could speak Chinese, I agreed. Then he briefly introduced the car in the showroom. When I was asking if there is any X5 with fewer options, he started to explain to me why the options are all necessary. He told me I'd better keep the options. I didn't want to get into the price first, I would like to test drive one to see if I actually like it. But then he didn't bring me to the lot, instead, I arrived in his office. He started to get into the financial stuff, because I asked him about leasing. In a little while he start to ask me if I have good credit, if I have leased a car before. He told me: You are not going to get the approval from finance because I have never lease a car before. I told him I have good credit, I have a home loan. He doesn't bother to listen. He said, financial people will not be able to lease car to me, they might worry if I will leave the country to avoid payments. It is ridiculous for him to make that assumption. I have been in US for 10 years and I am a US Citizen. And for god sake this guy doesn't even work for financial dept. He's just a salesman. How the hell can he tell if I qualify or not? I then figured the reason is that Chinese here buy BMW fully loaded with full price with cash. BMW here sometimes ask for a $100 up front for test driving. When I brought up the leasing option. He happened to identify me as not the most welcomed customer and decided not to do my business. By asking questions about my financial information and privacy, he successfully got me pissed off. I didn't test drive. I will never visit this dealer again. And this made me to doubt about BMW's customer relations.Women Beware
by kimcode on 02/01/2009After shopping for cars for a while, I decided to try east of LA since the dealerships in LA, Santa Monica, and the valley wouldn't give women the time of day. This place was the worst. After standing around, I ask the receptionist if… someone can help me. She said someone would be available in 10 minutes. After waiting this sales guy shows up and I tell him what I am interested in. He proceeds to ignore me and starts directing everything to my father. I stop him and tell him I am the decision maker as I am buying the car, not my father. He says he will show me the car but has another customer, and gets some other sales person who is so arrogant to help me. Then after a test drive it's clear he doesn't know much about the car, he says he is done for the day and takes off.Difficult communication and sketchy information
by bobbylax on 02/10/2008Few sales persons speak clear and concise english - most are of Asian decent and have very heavy accents. I assume that if you are an Asian customer, you will find someone that speaks your native tongue. Information provided by sales… persons was incorrect and misleading. I understand sales tactics, but the sales persons and even the sales manager here need to be taught how to provide information to customers that is not blatantly misleading. There was no negotiation or bargaining - this is the way it is, take it or leave it - not a place where you would wish to negotiate a better deal for yourself. The attitude of the sales persons seem to be very poor - not helpful or eager to sell. They seem to congregate together around the reception desk, telling stories and laughing in a group (in an Asian language). There seems to be no eagerness in trying to satisfy customers all the way from the top down.Smooth transaction!
by fourizonly007 on 08/31/2007This is our second purchase at this dealership and both times we dealt with the same sales person. The negotiation process was very smooth because I told him exactly how much I wanted to pay, and the sales person was able to come close to… it. The whole buying process went very smoothly, both the sales and the finance manager weren't pushy at any given time. I would highly recommend this dealer.RUDE RUDE RUDE
by bbcar on 06/24/2011updated 04/29/2025DO YO HOMEWORK!!! i did mine. got a descent price. metallic 528 wi/navi & ipod adapt for jus over $49k out the door ( not spectacular, just descent ). but the experience was horribly unpleasent spent a lot of time waiting around for… disappearing sales person, dont know what he's up to. sales person will pressure u into giving up personal info to qualify u to force the purchase even before the test drive. they are lazy and dont want to take u on proper test drive or explain everything about the vehicle. they will say their insurance dont cover highway test drive. that is a lie. finance person at closing will try to feed u BS and sell u some tire insurance that u dont need. and when he fails to make the sale, he becomes rude and obnoxious. stand firm and put him in his place (his name is Barry ) sales person promised to fill up the tank when i purchase new vehicle, but only gave 3/4 full and took off. the place was not friendly or inviting. i only purchased from this place cause it's the closest, and i didnt feel like driving too far awayEasiest Car Shopping Experience
by liability1 on 05/26/2011updated 04/29/2025I recently leased a new BMW from New Century BMW and was introduced to their online sales manager Henry Suh. Henry provided me with the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. We took care of the entire purchase via 3 emails back and… forth and within a week, my new car was delivered right to my front door. Henry will not only give you the best deal in southern california, if not the entire USA, but is also very professional in his job and makes the dreaded car buying process enjoyable again!Excellent

by WILLMADAIN on 01/02/2013updated 04/29/2025I dealt with Elvis B. He was outstanding and very patient. Happily he spent the time explaining about the cars I was interested in, and pleasantly offered me to demo drive any car I had an interest in. introduced me to the sales manager… Saeed M., another pleasant person. Inventory is great. I had to postpone my purchase, but I'll definitely will go back to them, and I will recommend them to all my friend and familyEfficient and friendly
by ndman1 on 05/20/2013updated 04/29/2025I did my homework over the internet and went to them due to their selection of 2010 528i cars. I did buy that day and it all went very smoothly. Elvis B. was great to work with and he was helpful in my process of elimination to decide which… car I was going to buy. I came all the way from Santa Barbara and it was worth it.did what they said
