Norm Reeves Lincoln Cerritos
by Alfred Lopez on 03/12/2025My new 2024 Lincoln Nautilus purchased at Norm Reeves Lincoln in Cerritos, Ca on 11/1/24 has been at the service dept. for a total of 7 weeks. One week with Francisco from service dept. returned still not fixed, then again since 12/30/24… and still in the shop for only one issue, when connecting to phone I can hear them but they can't hear me. When taken car back again to the Service Foreman Eddie Pulido he never contacted me till 5 weeks later after I tracked him down. Spoke to numerous employees about situation even the General Manager Kevan Juergans 3 weeks ago but no word back from him. Assistant to the GM Marisol Rivera was helpful at one point but later ignored phone calls and messages. Client services has a case # on this but have informed me they cannot force dealer to contact or assist me. They also recommended me to pickup my car and take it to Caruso Lincoln in Long Beach. On February 12th Juan Prado Service Manager who I never heard from told me to pick up my car within 48hrs or my rental will be reported stolen. It took them 7weeks to hold my car and tell me it cannot be fixed and I have to wait for a software update. Norm Reeves Lincoln has to be the worst car dealership in So. Calif. Seriously it's not the salespeople that aren't helpful it's the rest of the thoughtless and unprofessional staff. Don't make the same mistake as I did, if you want a Lincoln go elsewhere.Price gouged. 66k for a 40k vehicle.
by Derek Bergey on 02/08/2024There are few businesses that have consistently let me down as much as Norm Reeves Ford has. During the supply shortage, and in desperate need of a vehicle, we test drove a 2022 Ford Maverick Lariat. it is maxed out, so price will of course… be a little higher. But once paperwork came, the price of the truck (again, please look up a Maverick Hybrid Lariat, with a service package) came out to $66,000. I want you to read that again if you have to. However, this is a supply shortage, you need to buy now, no telling when we will get another in. So, we bought and we left and something didn't sit right. First, I looked over all the paperwork trying to figure out why it cost so much. I called and asked where accessories that were supposed to be included, were not, as no one mentioned that. I was told, oh, we forgot, we will get them to you. And weeks later, they did. However, the price was still hard to justify, it is after all a maxed out truck at around, $40,000. Eventually, this put me in contact with David Holmerud the GM, who assured me, yes there was a markup. But the $10,000 dealer appearance is a paint protection. Any scuffs, anything thing that isn't a dent, they will happily buff it out or touch it up. And I was told, that also included an extended truck bed. So, I knew I was ripped off, but I thought, well, if they cover the paint, it sucks, but it is what it is. Now, keep in mind. This is California. Price gouging over 10% in a time of emergency is illegal. And I was charged 66k for a Ford Maverick. But, time goes on, I'm still annoyed but whatever. I take the car in when it has a fender scuff. Not even a scratch. Just a spot that needs to be buffed out. And despite the GM telling me they cover that, all a sudden. Nope. We don't cover that, see we cover if tree sap or something needs to be washed off. I'd told Kim in finance, I had a whole conversation with the GM. To which, nope. So, they didn't honor their warranty that they upsold me 10k on. So, now I'm annoyed, but moving on. I am doing the regular maintenance appointments which I thought were close together, but, what do I know, my last car was an 06' Fusion. II found it odd, that my last scheduled service was at 20k miles. So, when I asked why they were so close, they told me that I had been coming in 2500 miles early every time. They just, said okay and did it. But, if I finish this last service, they honored they warranty, and while I can come back it the wipers or brake pads go bad. They assumed, since I was done coming to the dealership, it's another thing they could be off the hook for. As, they were supposed to warranty me for 4 services, and 30k miles. But if they could get me to use up all my services right away, I either, extend to another package, or, pay out of pocket because I used up all my services. All in all, when I read the Ford CEO said he is shutting down dealerships because all of them are price gouging and hiding cost to bolster numbers, I couldn't help think how quick Norm Reeves Ford is going to shut down. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but there's going to be a serious class action lawsuit from dealer mark ups and how they went about the supply chain shortage. And when that happens, I have all my receipts ready and I will be at the dealership to collect my check. PS. Not even me, but I was at a service and they told a woman she absolutely needs ot change her cabin air filters as it can pose a health risk breathing such a used filter. The charge would be $117 if they let them do it today. A cabin filter is in the dashboard, it's 4 screws. And it cost about $18. That's the kind of mark up and rip off we're dealing with.Buyer Beware
by anthonycosta on 02/07/2016Avoid Them. I was in need of a car quickly, and was forced to go through a dealership. I found a 2012 Ford Fiesta SE with 89k miles on it for 8800. It was a former rental car and was most likely beat up. During the test drive, the… transmission was jerky, as Fiestas have the DCT that was having problems in the fleet, but it was a decent price and I took it. A few days after the purchase, a check engine light came on. Over the next few months the light would periodically clear itself then return, so I eventually contacted the dealer and asked for some help. There were codes for the catalytic converter, MAF, and various other problems, the service department didn't want to help as I was past warranty and did not purchase an extended one, so I was stuck on my own. So far I've spent a few hundred dollars trying to fix these issues, but as a P0420 code has many different causes, it's not a guarantee that a new catalytic converter would fix the issue completely. Sadly, it seems these days that one can't make a profit without screwing somebody else over. I'd advise you to get an extended warranty at a very good cost, or for free, and read the fine print so they can't screw you like they got me.A Very Happy Customer
by mike_a1 on 06/22/2015In the last 42 years I have bought 14 different brand new cars. This purchase experience with Norm Reeves is the best one I have ever had. I picked the car I wanted by searching the dealer's inventory on line. I called and spoke with… Antonio Carreon and when I got to the dealership he had the car ready for a test drive. We spent only a short time negotiating the offer, and there was no pressure sales involved. When the final offer was accepted, I was literally amazed at how good of a deal I got. I can't emphasize enough how pleasantly surprised I was with the whole process. The must not need business !
by Gbay on 03/01/2015I has the most interesting experience yesterday at this place. I walked into the dealership with a pre-approved credit voucher for 60,000 dollars. I just finished paying my Acura Tl , so I decided to go explore the new mustang and the… ford fusion .. I walked around the lot for 20 minutes , and no sales people ever greeted or asked if I needed .. Help.. So I decided to enter the showroom , they didn't seem too busy , however once again no service was available .. Sales people busy socializing .. I saw a beautiful blue mustang on the floor walked around it and tried to open it to check interior.. And no sales people offered assistance . I was so disappointed with this place , that it made me reconsider ever buying a Ford.. I went next door to look at q50 infinity . With in a minute I was greeted... With in 10 minutes I was test driving ... So I guess you Norm Reeves Ford does not need more business ..:nice experience

by clintntx on 03/18/2013updated 04/25/2025I visited 4 Cerritos area dealerships--Mazda, Chevy, Buick, & Ford--& exerienced the full range from high-pressure-near-arm-twisting to a laid back 'would you like to sit in one?' Cerritos Ford-Lincoln sales rep Kathy Jo B. took time to… listen to my needs/wants with no pressure. Kathy explained the car's somewhat complex info-tainment system & other features peculiar to the car, plus paired both my cell phones to the car's bluetooth.Cerritos Ford and Joe Haieder
by lselkirk on 02/15/2012updated 04/25/2025My daughter and I went into this dealership and Joe Haieder met us and showed us around the lot looking at cars. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and a nice person to talk to. He wasn't what I expected, very easy without any pressure to… buy the first car we looked at. We ended up getting a Ford Escape, it was an easy transaction and we were on our way. He gave us a full tank of gas made sure we had our floor mats and rear curtain and the car was detailed while we filled out the documents. I would recommend this dealer and Joe would be the one to ask for. Being a father I appreciated him taking time explaining things to my daughter and taking all the time she needed. Really a very nice experienceGood first experience
by clintntx on 03/18/2013updated 04/25/2025Had a minor problem with my new Ford Focus. Service Rep Sergio O. took my order, arranged a rental car for me to drive while my car was in for service. I was called when the service was completed later that day. Problem with the battery was… taken care of, plus a software update to the SYNC system was made. All work was under warranty, so I received no advance quote.
