Damn service dept
by Minh on 01/05/2025Damn worse customer service dept. Had my apt for fuel pump recall at 9am, then 10am service guy took me in for paper work. Around 2pm they took my acura for service, finally done at 5pm. Wasted a damn whole day... Because service dept… over booked. Beg the question why made apt @ 9am??Discrimination and horrible service

Before I made the appointment today, they confirmed if I came at 11:15, then the service would be finished by 1:00 pm, but when I went to the dealer and… met the Rude advisor, Justin, he looked at me with discrimination eyes because I am an Asian. I asked him how long it takes, and he told me at least 3 hours and asked me to do it or cancel the service today. I asked another question a bout replace lost key, he answered; I DON’T take care of this, call the third party company. That pissed me off. How does a big dealer have this kind of attitude service advisor? I will recommend that my friends and Asian people should not come to this dealer to receive this kind of service and discrimination. I never ever come back to this dealer againTHEY WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE!!

PLEASE SAVE YOURSELVES AND YOUR BUSINESS FROM THE CRUEL, HEARTLESS TREATMENT AND EXPLOITATION MY FAMILY AND I FACED!!! Don’t fall for their very friendly demeanors on the sales floor.… They will sweet talk you to the moon. Sadly, you will pay for it later if god forbid you ever needed any service done on your vehicle. OUR STORY: My family purchased an Acura RDX from Acura of Fremont in 2021. It was a certified pre-owned vehicle with a 5 year extended warranty. We absolutely love our RDX except for the vehicle’s misaligned body panels (hood, doors, trunk lid etc). Before you think this is nitpicking, consider gaps that were 1/2in on one side and almost rubbing on the other side. Or how about a sneak peak of your engine from one side of the hood? We had a good experience when purchasing the vehicle but that was where the “good” ended. I called Acura of Fremont at the beginning of December 2022 and spoke with Weis Taj ( Service and Parts Director about our RDX’s misaligned body panels. Weis suggested I bring the vehicle in for an inspection. I brought the vehicle in that same week and he did a walk around the vehicle, took pictures of the misaligned panels and told me he would send an email with the supporting pictures he took to corporate for approval. I left feeling cared for and thought “wow, that was easy!” and headed home. No paperwork was exchanged. Weis called me about a week later and stated that the body panels were approved to be fixed however he did not have any loaner vehicles available for me. Another 3 weeks pass of me calling in to check when I could bring our vehicle in. Finally, after a month of struggling to get our vehicle in, Weis calls me and leaves a voicemail stating they have loaner vehicles available and are ready to align all of the misaligned body panels. I have saved this voicemail. We drop our vehicle off at Acura of Fremont for 3 weeks. NOTHING was done during this period. Absolutely NOTHING. We were called on the fourth week and told, “Sorry, we can’t fix your vehicle’s body panels as you are not the original owners”. I called Weis multiple times and left multiple voicemails. My family and I were lost and very upset. We had wasted two months only to be slapped in the face. We wanted to know WHAT HAPPENED? He vanished from the face of the earth. I was told to call Acura customer relations by another service advisor we had never communicated with prior but we assume Weis had him speak to us on his behalf. I went back and forth with Acura Customer relations all of January and February. At the end I learned they have no leverage or authority to hold rotten dealerships like Acura of Fremont accountable. They treat people as they please. I left a complaint with Acura Relations and was instructed to call someone above Weis. I called Sam Alroubai (General Sales Manager). I gave Sam a summary of our terrible experience with his dealership. He seemed like he cared about our experience and was willing to speak with Weis and ask him to call me. Weis never called me and Sam stopped picking up my calls as well. So, after enduring an extremely upsetting, frustrating and time consuming 4 month ordeal I’m writing this review. I hope this dealership gets sold or goes bankrupt! PEOPLE DESERVE BETTER!!Avoid Acura of Fremont dealership for sales and service
by Chris Croswhite on 10/28/2022I highly encourage people to avoid Acura of Fremont dealership. Both the sales and service departments of Acura Of Fremont have demonstrated consistent incompetency and potentially even fraud. My adventure started when we purchased 2022… MDX w/Advance Package. After spending the ~3 hours of signing all the documents and trying to up sell on various service packages (some seemed absolutely bogus), went home to wait 6 weeks for the vehicle to arrive (Oct 2021). 6 weeks later, told the vehicle was ready for pick up. Arrived onsite and told that all the paper work that had been filled out previously needed to be redone as the company used the wrong VIN. So another 2 hours and more up sell - grrrr! After all that, you would have thought, okay let's go home, but nope, accessories that I had requested had not been installed, but worse, the car had not even been unwrapped after delivery to the dealership! Another two hours of waiting (and hearing people yell obscenities at each other in the service and sales area), the car was made ready with the exception that the tailer hitch which was purchased with the vehicle 6 weeks prior, was missing a part (kick sensor) and could not be installed. At least I can take the vehicle. But alas, the first day ownership was still going south - received a call from the sales person and told that the mats were not completely installed and some of the mats in the vehicle needed to be returned, they were for a different customer! So yet another visit to the dealer and another hour wasted. Roll forward 3 months, called the dealer requesting status of the trailer hitch, told it was ready and to bring the vehicle in to install. Arrived and waited 3 hours to be told that it could not be installed, it was missing a part, the same part that was missing 3 months previous. Another 3 hours wasted. Fast forward to Oct 2022 and the 1 year/10K service interval. Show up for the A12 service (no idea but was told it was this service which includes tire rotation, all air filters replaced [cabin and engine], oil change and inspection) and asked if the trailer hitch was ready to install. Told the trailer hitch would be installed along with the service. 5 hours later, told, no, the trailer hitch can't be installed as its still missing the same component as the previous two attempts. So another couple hours wasted! Drove the car home and noticed that the tires didn't appear to have been rotated. I know this because the one 'curbed' wheel was still on the same quarter of the vehicle (passenger side front). I then checked the cabin air filter and it too was not new (clearly dirty). I checked under the hood to see if the oil filter had been replaced, and while not 100% certain, I don't think it was, it had the same level of dirt film as the rest of the engine). So although invoice showed they did all these things, I am pretty confident that's not accurate. I then called and complained to service. Service person assured me that this will be brought up to the service manager and to expect a call to reschedule the car to come in. However, two days later and after yet another call to the service department, I have yet to hear back from Acura Of Fremont. The management has been silent. At this point I went to a different dealer and had them do the 1 year/10K service costing me $415 that should have already been done!Better experience than I expected

Tanwi gave me to keys to test drive the new ILX but when I came back she also had the keys to a… Certified Preowned ILX with less than 12,000. She listened to what I wanted and I ended up purchasing the Certified Preowned ILX. It is a much better car for about the same money as the new Civic plus I got to drive it home the same day. I feel like it was a total win for me!Great dealership experience!

After we came in we were greeted by Reshad, and our buying experience was nothing short of excellent.… He was attentive and not pushy to sell us a car, which is probably the aspect we appreciate the most. We were able to test drive the vehicle and went ahead through the purchasing process. Everything was explained to us as we were going through it, and even the manager Tony came over and worked with us to get what we considered a good deal. This is one of very few good experiences I've had in a dealership so far. We left feeling happy and confident that we made the right decision... Having been… previous Acura mdx owner for many years, I decided to swing by and see their inventory at Fremont Acura. I want to say Tanwi wasted no time understanding my auto ownership history, current family needs and immediately had me look at a vehicle that I doubted was in my range due to current market conditions. To make a long story short, I renewed my loyalty to Acura and must credit Tanwi, Tony (sales manager) and Kasim for having me drive off with a vehicle that my family is very happy with. I would like to add that Will and the service team have always been courteous, professional and keen to ensure great service over the years, thus creating the fortuitous circumstances for me to successfully acquire a vehicle in these crazy times with Tanwi's help. Thank you Acura of Fremont! Not the first time, but unlikely to be the last.2022 MDX

Long story short, we traded in our 2020 Toyota Highlander Platinum for this beautiful… MDX. Matt Pazhman was a stellar salesperson and is a true asset to the team at Fremont Acura. Matt never made us feel uncomfortable and was completely transparent throughout the entire transaction. The deal took two days to complete and a few trips but we finally walked away with our new car. First time Acura owner, have owned more than a dozen Toyota’s, Chevrolets, Fords, and even a Cadillac. This MDX is a dream and light years ahead in luxury to our old Cadillac CTS. Inventory was limited due to the current microchip shortage, but our vehicle had just arrived off that truck that morning and was available for purchase. Although it took a while for our car to arrive due to the chip shortage, when we received it, the customer service we received from everyone was impeccable. Cesar is the absolute best! He… kept me and my husband informed, had a lot of knowledge of the car, and was extremely professional through the whole process. Cher found us the best APR and was great through the signing process. The whole team was great!
