Great sales experience
Ignore or Not Ignore the Customer
by KG1212 on 02/27/2025I caution against any single lady or mother wanting to purchase a car or get work done at this dealership. I wanted to buy an EV9 that they had in stock. I made an appointment to test drive it and went in and was told you can’t test drive… an EV9 as the sales guy walked right by me. I asked about the VIN I was interested in purchasing and was told that no sales members were available. Keep in mind there were 6 sales guys sitting around and 1 customer in the store shopping. I went back to try to just look at the vehicle again a week later, with my two teenagers in tow, no sales guy came to help. Again, I had the vin of the vehicle on the lot and was unable to get anyone’s attention as the sales guys all turned their backs. The next day I walked in with my boyfriend and told him he can do all the talking, I’ll just stand back. A salesman came up to us within 30 seconds. We didn’t have an appointment, but that didn’t matter. My boyfriend asked to test drive an EV9 and the salesman left momentarily and came back with the keys, handed them to my boyfriend and asked us to return in 10 minutes. Once we returned he proceeded to stick around and answer any questions we had. Please see note above where I was told they don’t let people test drive EV9s. I ended up taking my business to Car Pros in Huntington Beach where I was able to get great service and an even better deal on a new EV9.It's disheartening to hear about your experience at our dealership. Customer Service Needs Work
by KG1212 on 02/27/2025The service department definitely has some areas for improvement. My first trip in to fix a warning notice was very frustrating. I made an online appointment, and had to select standard service, as a diagnostic visit wasn’t an option.… Once the appointment was made I called the service department to ensure I did it correctly and that they had time that day to diagnose my issue, which they confirmed they did. When I brought it in I was told I had made the wrong type of appointment and they didn’t have time for me. I explained that I had called to confirm and was told to come in. I explained that there was no other option online to do what he was telling me. He insisted I did it wrong so I stood in the service room and politely asked him to demonstrate how I should have done it. He then navigated to the website, saw what I say, asked a manager, went in the back room , came back and told me that I was right, you can’t do it online and that I should have called. I explained again that is exactly what I did. He said that since I didn’t have the name of the person I spoke with he can’t trust what just anyone says. They turned me away and made an appointment for me at a later date. They made me come back 6 times to fix 1 thing. It took 2 more trips to diagnose, 1 trip to come back to order the last, 1 more trip to come back and be told the part didn’t actually come in, then 1 more to do the fix. I went through 4 different service people and ultimately did get put in contact with Brad who was very helpful and very responsive.Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It seems we have some processes in need of improvement, especially regarding our appointment system and communication within the service department, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. While I'm glad Brad was ultimately able to assist you, it's concerning that it took multiple visits before a resolution was reached. Fantastic service

The lounge is fully compatible for those needing to work and they… offer seamless free WiFi. I was also pleasantly surprised to find they had washed my car.Thank you for sharing your experience with the service department at Kia of Irvine! Service was good but the dealership has change a lot !!
by Ale on 02/18/2025The layout of the waiting room at this dealership , limited the access to charging tables so if your are planing to do some work , you can’t . There is only 3 section a ay and if you’re lucky , you might get it. They need more charging… section , they took away courtesy snacks , so they only offer water , coffe and tea.up to this point they might get rid of kids zone too. Overall Amanda in the sales department was nice, she listen to my concerns. I waited around 4.30 hours to get my car back.Thank you for sharing your feedback about Kia of Irvine. Perfect experience

Starting from when I first called them and was connected with their sales lead Mo about a car I saw online, everything that was advertised or otherwise verbally communicated to me… was upheld at the final agreement table. So much transparency with this team, Mo sincerely cared about the outcome. I cannot say the same for another KIA dealership that I tried going to originally, so having had that experience first I can truly say that KIA of Irvine made a difference. by Kathy on 01/31/2025Service department was supposed to fix a recall item on my car on Monday. I picked it up Monday afternoon and was told it was done but the problem still was present. Did anyone test drive the vehicle? Took it straight back and was told it… needs a part. Would be done on Thursday (today). Still not done and no phone call. I had to call them. Should be done tomorrow, 5 days later! What are the chances?Kathy, I'm sorry to hear about the delay and lack of communication regarding your recall service. Stay away! Terrible service center

Scheduling the service was an issue because they do not do this work on weekends and don’t mention this anywhere on the website and the service person I spoke to to confirm parts were available… didn’t mention it either. The day I took the car in, I never received an update or phone call that it was done. I waited until 6:15pm for word, didn’t get it, showed up at their service center and the car had been done hours earlier. Finally, went to check to see if the work had been fixed and it hadn’t. I went back to the service center and the service manager argued with me that the high beams that were supposed to have been fixed were fixed and working when obviously they weren’t. I had to go to another service center, get their opinion to make sure I wasn’t crazy, and then come back to this center to speak to another manager who brought a service tech to confirm that the high beams in fact did not work. This whole time there’s no consideration for customer service or the fact that I’m wasting time coming back and forth. They’re either not performing the work they say they are or they’re doing it wrong and then won’t admit it’s wrong.I'm sorry to hear about the issues you've encountered. It's clear we dropped the ball on communication and service quality, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Excellent Customer Service
by Lynne on 01/15/2025Kia of Irvine is a family-owned business and it shows. When I arrived, I found out the Telluride I saw on their site was no longer available. No problem,..they searched and found another identical model with everything I wanted, a couple… of hours away. While their team was contacting the other dealer to see if they could make an exchange, my sale rep Mike, showed me model I wanted, with just a different exterior color. We went for a test drive, he reviewed all the great features and took his time to ensure I understood how things worked. There are so many conveniences that it's still going to take me time on my own just to learn everything, but Mike offered his assistance should I run into any roadblocks. The next day, the car I wanted was delivered and again, Mike and I went over the everything before I headed out. Their finance team was efficient and allowed the entire process to be quick and easy. I don't buy a new vehicle often, but their team made the buying process enjoyable. The sales manager came over to introduce himself during my initial visit, which was a nice touch and Mike followed up with me the next day to see if I had any questions.Lynne, we're delighted to hear that Mike and the Kia of Irvine team made your car-buying experience enjoyable! I don’t like being taken advantage of
by B on 01/15/2025I was honestly extremely disappointed in the situation I was put in. It pains me to write a bad review. I love nothing more than to cheer people on and value great service. I don’t want anyone else getting ripped off so I feel I must share… my experience. I got a quote last month for 4 things: Drive belt, spark plugs, transmission fluid and fuel service. The quote was for $741. I didn’t go back right away so they sent me a coupon in the mail saying if I came back I would get $75 off that price range of service. So I booked an appt online and it gave me an estimate of $517.00. I realize that is a rough estimate and don’t expect them to give me that exact price. So I go in to drop off my car and the guy comes up to me with his iPad and says the estimate is around $1,500.00. I was baffled. How could it more than double (or triple if we are going off their websites quote?!). So I asked him why so much and he tried to tell me this specific Kia’s parts cost more. Sounded like he wasn’t being truthful to me. So I mentioned the quote and estimate and then he said “well let me see the quote”. So I gave it to him and he said “I can get it down to this.” Oh, you can?! It was a very bad look, if you can get it down to that then why was it ever so high in the first place unless you’re ripping people off? Not to mention, don’t dealerships have set prices for services?! How couldn’t my cost double from the time I got the quote? Do they get incentives if they “upsell” services?! I truly want to understand. So then jump ahead to when it came time to check out. He gave me the paperwork with the charges on it and I said “great”, handed him my credit card and also told him I wanted to apply to coupon they sent me to get me to come back and he proceeds to tell me “oh sorry, I can’t add that, I already took off so much for you.” Oh really?! No you didn’t! You gave me the correct price I was quoted! I was super irritated at this point and told him, “If this Kia location quoted me the $741 and proceeded to send me a coupon to earn my business then they surely wouldn’t tell me I can’t use it?!” I don’t know if this guy is use to just taking advantage of people who won’t stand up for themselves or what but that isn’t me. I was polite but honest with him. I am not okay with being taken advantage of. Long story short he then after telling me he couldn’t apply the coupon, applied to coupon. So what does that mean?! He was lying when he said he couldn’t apply it the first time?! I mean come on! After all this I just couldn’t believe he was still trying to be difficult. There was more to the story but I won’t bore you, all unacceptable. After it was all said and done he was very polite and we were cordial. But I am just super uneasy about how this all went down and would love to hear from their management if this is normal. I must say the service was done in a timely manner which I appreciate. I have been to the specific dealership a few times and this is the first time I have had an issue but this is my first time here for a paid service, the other times we recalls.Bailey, I'm sorry to hear about your frustrating experience.
