Do not waste your time at this dealership!
by tjd10 on 06/24/2015This is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I would expect higher customer service from people that are trying to sell in an upscale market. These sales people and managers should be working at Sears which is about to go under.… They sold a car I had an appointment to buy before I arrived. I was paying cash and they even called the same day to confirm my appointment. I called to make sure everything was ready and was told the sales person, Erica was not working that day. Then Gabby told me to ask for her. I asked what time she was there until and she told me "until we close." I hate to tell you this Gabby, but I don't work there and don't know your hours. Nor do I care. I asked what time. Understanding that Gabby might not be the the brightest bulb in the pack I called back to speak to a manager and was told they had just sold the car. To say I was upset is an understatement. The manager actually told me it was illigal fo hold a car. What???? Erica did not mention this when she told me it would be washed and out front wating for me at 4pm. Nor does it mention it being illegal in any law book. What an stupid thing to say to a very well researched consumer. I asked a manager to call me back and not to my surprise, no one did. I bought someplace else and got a better car at a better price with no problem. And guess what? The other dealership was legally able to hold the car until I got there with my cash. I am a psychotherapist and am never suprised at what can come out of an ignorant mouth. Do not buy from here. Read all the reviews.Terry, thank you for bringing this to our attention. This is not consistent with the quality of customer service that we pride ourselves on at Beverly Hills BMW. However, we do have a no-hold policy on all of our vehicles. We would like to talk to you directly regarding your experience at our dealership. Please contact Shaun Duron at 323-326-9703 or Shaun.Duron@bmwofbeverlyhills.com. We hope this does not keep you away from our store and we would love the opportunity to earn back your trust.
I am surprised how good they are!
by ttss123 on 02/03/2015I bought 550I this September from Beverly Hills BMW. I got, by far, the best deal in Southern cal. I know, because I have shopped in every dealership in town! If you are not an idiot and have a calculator, this is a place for you... Also… the service department is extremely friendly and accommodating compared to BMW of South Bay which is a nice bonus .... I strongly recommend this dealership, just do your home work beforehand! ASWill not get best deal!!!!
by GLYFADA on 12/27/2014If you are buying/leasing a BMW, make sure you check the offer you get from them with other dealers. Unlike Beverly Hills BMW, other dealers offer discounts and much better pricing than Beverly Hills BMW. Case in point, I recently leased… a new 2015 BMW M4 and unfortunately, I didn't shop around enough. After leasing my car from Beverly Hills BMW, I got other offers from Pacific BMW, Nick Alexander and Center that were at least $2000 lower than mine. All three of those dealers offered the combined option discount (executive package and extended leather) of $950 along with other discounts. Of course, the one dealership that didnt offer ANY discount is, you guessed it BEVERLY HILLS BMW!!! I was then told that my $1000 holiday credit was incorporated in the lease, which of course it wasnt, and they would itemize it, which they didn't. They'll tell you they can't do anything about it and that their sales management Cliff" will contact you and try to resolve any issues. I talked with others that dealt with Beverly Hill BMW recently and found out that "Cliff" NEVER contacts anybody. Beware when dealing with Beverly Hills BMW, YOU WILL NOT GET THE BEST DEAL!!!!! Oh well, their loss! Where do you think I will be taking my BMW for the scheduled services? Anywhere but Beverly Hills BMW!!!! The profit they would have made from the scheduled services would have been more for them. Read other reviews on this site and other sites and you will see why they are rated so low. I am giving them a 2 star because, believe it or not, our sales guy, Francisco was a true professional and his service to us was great. It's not his fault the way management runs this place. Cliff would get a negative rating and the dealership would also get a negative rating. My loss and learning experience will be your gain!I have to update my prior review on Beverly Hills BMW. I had an issue as you can see from my previous review and didn't think anything would be done about it. Well, I was WRONG!!! To Francisco's credit and Beverly Hills BMW management, this issue was resolved in a professional and reasonable manner. I am happy to update my review after this issue has been resolved. The wife and I went to BH BMW and I really hate going to car shop. It is so stressfull and I always feel like I am getting screwed. Francisco had reassured me that the issue would be looked at and not to worry. Of course I doubted anything would be done about it! All I can say is I am sorry for doubting Francisco and Beverly Hill BMW! They came through BIG TIME!! We love our new 2015 M4 and we appreciate the service we received! We got a great car and a great deal! I am glad to say that I have found a car salesperson that I can trust and feel comfortable that I am getting a good deal. Francisco and Beverly Hills BMW, thank you and sorry for the previous review. You now have a customer for life!!!!
No test drive/deposit refund for BMW I3 after 4 months!
by seadawg2 on 07/16/2014During a visit to the dealership to test drive a BMW I3 (which they didn't have on the lot yet), the salesperson (Avo J.) convinced me to put in a fully refundable deposit. I was in LA for a visit before a permanent move 3 months… later. After my move to LA, I was unable to schedule a test drive or obtain a refund of my deposit despite at least 15 contacts via email/phone over 4 months. I may have to proceed via a legal route, but others need to know about the service I received. Buyer beware!!Mis-represented the warranty on the car when trying to sell me a M3
by kunm on 06/20/2010I bought my first BMW a few years from these guys. I went back today to buy a used M3 convertible. The sales person and I talked at length about the warrranty. We went into specific details that things like the roof, electrical, power train… etc would be covered, but things like brakes, battery and oil changes would not be. I was ok with that. We agreed to the price, trade-in etc. I even started signing papers (after the credit check and other formalities). Then the guy (who was making me sign the papers), tried to sell me an extended warranty. He told me that this car had NO warranty on it - which was one of the most critical things that I wanted - and had made that clear 4 hrs ago to the sales guy. Thus, eventually after 4+ hrs, I had to walk away with no car. I do not recommend these guys - be careful and make sure you are getting what you want and what they tell u. BTW - The sales guy, did not apologize once![violative content deleted] sales staff
by butterspa on 08/29/2009I have been looking for a 2006 M3 convertible. Unfortunately the only one I could find in my area that was Certified PreOwned was at this dealership. I called Neda 3 times over the last week, all but telling her I wanted the car. Today I… called and said I wanted to drive the car, that I would not buy it until I did so. Her assistant said he would check if the car was available because he did not want me to drive over for nothing, I agreed wholeheartedly. He called me back 20 minutes later and told me no problem, come on in. I drove from Malibu in traffic to get there. Guess what, they had the car in the show room blocked in by about 10 cars. They did not even try to get it out for me. When I asked Neda what the deal was she told me if we talked and "all the numbers looked good" and I would buy the car she would let me drive it, or I could come back during the week. She was completely unapologetic and rude. Who cares that she wasted 2 hours of my time. What a [violative content deleted] salesperson. She had the sale right there and basically went out of her way to lie to me and piss me off. Not sure how many people are in the market for a 36K used car, but good luck selling it. Even if they had the last M3 vert on earth I would never purchase from Neda or for that matter Beverly Hills BMW.Great review! I wish I had read this a few hours back. I had a similarly bad experience with them on a M3 convertible today. I have posted a detailed review.
Worst experience ever
by vkanodia on 06/01/2009The word pompous comes to mind when I reflect back on my experience. The service adviser (Brian) forgot about me and did not call for 2 hrs beyond the promised delivery time. When I called in his attitude was very rude as if it was my… fault for calling him. Then when they were sending a shuttle to pick me up, they made me wait for about 3 hrs...finally I took a cab to their shop to pick up my car - unbelievable! I would never ever use them again.Beverly Hills BMW - The Worst BMW Dealership in L.A.
by bmrboy2008 on 08/31/2008From a sales standpoint, Beverly Hills BMW has got to be the worst BMW dealership in the L.A. area in spite of its location and potential for upscale clientele. Last December, I had the unfortunate experience of visiting this dealership… in search of a 2008 5 series they absolutely refused to trade to any of the other dealerships I was working with. From the very moment I stepped into this dirty, hot, smelly dealership with no air conditioning, I knew it was going to be a bad experience. Although there were no other customers in the showroom that day, I was forced to wait 20 minutes although I had an appointment with a sales rep. The claimed they could not locate him in the office. Also, there was a fat, ugly and sweaty middle eastern woman running around the place yelling at everyone. All of the employees had scowls on their faces and they looked like they did not want to be there. It was positively revolting!! After witnessing this shocking and appalling behavior, it became evident to me that this delaership was having difficulties selling cars, undoubtedly because of the way they treat their customers and employees. After speaking to a nervous under pressure sales rep, and a poor poor excuse for a sales manager wearing a dirty shirt and wrinkled suit who refused to deal, I walked out. A few minutes later, the sales rep called me on my cell phone and begged and pleaded with me to return. I advised him to look for a job at another dealership. Needless to say, I did not purchase my car from Beverly Hills BMW nor will I ever set foot in their dealership again. In my opinion, Beverly Hills BMW should be closed down. Stay completely away from this dealership if you are looking to by a new BMW.luv_bmw4ever
by luv_bmw4ever on 07/23/2007I went to this dealer because my friend had purchased his 3 series there last year. I was also purching a 3 series and luckily they had the one I wanted. The sales manager was friendly and striaght forward with the price, but the sales… person wasn't too quite sure about the car since he was new to the company. He had to take the manual out to tell me some of the questions I asked, so he didn't really know his stuff well. Overall, i was excited about the process of puchasing my car, but it took me six hours to get my car, and I was quite exhausted at the end. As a bonus, I got a free key chain and a few rubber mats.Incompetent Service Technicians
by imgnohc on 07/24/20073 months into my brand new 325CI, my thermostat had issues. I took my car into Beverly Hills BMW service 3 times (closest to me). The first couple of times they told me that nothing was wrong and looks like my engine indicator was the… problem. The third time I took it in, they kept my car for 7 days. In the end, they said nothing was wrong again. This time, they didn't even wash my car. In fact, they left the numbers written in chalk all over my car windshield and hands it off to me. After this experience, my indicator came on again a week later. This time I took it to Pacific BMW in Glendale. They figured out that there was a leak in my thermostat and fixed it in 2 hours. I haven't had a problem with it since... its been over 2 years now. Since then, I've always gone back to Pacific BMW. Even though they are an extra 15 miles for me to drive... their service has been awesome! Beverly Hills BMW is terrible. They have no idea what they are doing.Don't take your car here!
by kqazi on 07/19/2007I made the mistake of taking my 2005 BMW M3 to this dealership about a year ago and the dealership is totally overcrowded which makes for a horrible service experience. Also when I got my car back they didn't even fix the issue I took it… there for which the told me they fixed. The issue was that my shifter (I had a manual) was making some crazy noises and it was pretty evident it wasn't fixed when I picked it up. If you live in LA all the BMW dealers are overcrowded which leads to a bad experience. I've had much better service at Long Beach BMW.Best BMW Dealer Service center in West L.A.
by bglickman on 07/19/2007Have owned BMWs for 15 years and have used all options for factory service in West L.A. area. In my experience, Beverly Hills BMW is far and away the most customer friendly service center in the area. The staff is competent and friendly,… and they are diligent about follow-up phone calls, and specifically, calling as soon as service is complete. Though I find it lacking that they do not routinely offer loaner cars, they are very accomodating with their shuttle service, offering both drop-off and pick-up once service is complete. I've had great experiences with Laurie Down and with Carmela in the service department at Beverly Hills BMW.My BMW x3 experience.
by bigslava on 02/20/2013updated 04/27/2025I would not recommend this place. They spoke with us like with people who mentally retarded. They gave us pretty good deal because I negotiated price by E-Mail.Simply rude...not confrontational, but just rude
by luvcars70 on 03/06/2014updated 04/27/2025Went into the dealership ready to purchase. Knew the car, options, and price range. Ready to pay cash. The dealership is literally down the street from the house, so i walked to the dealership. Immediately the experience went down… hill. Waited 15-20 minutes for someone to say hello. After being set up with a sales woman, she was short in tone... and apparently time. I asked her a couple questions about their inventory to see if they had the car I was looking for. After learning that they had a car that had the options I wanted and was close in price, I asked if I could drive the car. She said no. I asked if maybe the manager needed to give approval?? She said no, its not policy to let people test the M's. Was about to press the issue when she said, hold on a minute I'll be right back.....as I write this review many days later I'm still waiting for her to come back. Needless to say, I walked back home, hopped in my car, drove to the Benz dealer and purchased. Maybe this review should have started with youngish looking black guy walks into a BMW dealership wearing shorts, t-shirt, and sneakers. The woman was rude from the beginning.Hello, We appreciate you reaching out to us. We are sincerely sorry to hear about your experience with our sales team. Great experience
by tcpch on 08/04/2011updated 04/27/2025I had a great experience with BHBMW, and actually bought a CPO '08 X5 4.8 sight unseen because the sales rep I cold called for more info was so professional. I knew what I wanted, and he (Charles Nchinda) was so professional, polite, and… hard working I bought the car. There were a few issues that needed to be fixed when it arrived (I live 90 miles away) but they went out of their way to fix them ASAP and the whole experience with Charles was exceptional. I highly recommend him, especially for those who don't like high pressure sales people. To be honest, some of my other interactions at the dealership felt rather "sales-y" and I can see where getting the wrong associate can make all the difference, but overall Charles and the dealership have been great.THE BEST OF THE BEST
by gruderian on 06/18/2011updated 04/27/2025Just ask for Neda. Everything else will take care of itself. I have leased two BMW's from her and am about to lease a third. There is no one like her. She will help you select the right car for you and do whatever it takes to make you feel… comfortable with the car and with the purchasing process. After you buy your BMW, she will go to bat for you if you have any future problems. Oh yes, did I mention she is the number one BMW sales person in the United States for the last ten years with numerous letters of commendation from her customers and from BMW management. No, we are not dating, married, or related. She is just that good.As good as it gets
by gruderian on 06/18/2011updated 04/27/2025Always on time and done correctly. Their service advisors (Laurie) get it right and follow through to make sure all the prolems are corrected. If they cannot find the problem, they will put you in the car with a mechanic or the service… supervisor and allow you to demonstrate it for them. You get a trouble free loaner even for routime maintenance. I buy a car mostly on the effectiveness of the service department. This is my 3rd BMW from Beverly Hills BMW.
We appreciate your positive review about your recent experience with us! If you ever need anything else from us, please feel free to give us a call or stop by. Have an awesome day!
