Greatest Dealer Ever!

by borgkube on 05/29/2010I originally went to Empire Nissan because I was looking for a particular model and color vehicle and their inventory showed that Empire had the vehicle I wanted. So I sent an e-mail to their Internet Sales Manger to ask about the car. I… have to mention that I had found "exactly" the car I wanted at another dealership that was much closer to where I live. (Empire is 65 miles from my home). I had the whole deal setup with this other Nissan dealer and they tried to pull a bait-and-switch on me and so I walked away. So this was in my mind when I started negotiations with Empire. The sales manager and I sent e-mails back and forth for about three days. We arrived at a price. By that I mean a bottom line out the door price. Including Tax License dealer prep, everything! This was on Friday afternoon. I had some problems on Saturday and could not go to Empire as I had wanted to and so my wife and I arrived there on Sunday afternoon, instead. We went in and met the sales manager. He had the car ready and we took it for a short test drive and returned to do the paper work. He already had everything ready to go and a surprise due to some changes in dealer charges the car was a $100 less than we had agreed. I paid cash for the car by personal check and we were done and we drove away. The sales manager was very pleasant and helpful. He answered all our questions and didn't pressure us in any way. Most importantly, he didn't try to add any last minute extras or "forgotten" charges or any of that stuff. I would recommend Empire Nissan to anyone looking to purchase a Nissan vehicle. I only wish that I lived closer to Empire so I could use their service department. I still get service reminders from them and quarterly invitations to attend owner gatherings. My local Nissan dealer doesn't have those. I have owned at least a dozen cars and this was far and away the best sales experience ever.Good buying experience

I had emailed various local Nissan dealers for about 2 weeks prior to find the best available price...whenever I got a lower price I would update all the… local dealers with my current best price. Anthony Mendoza of Empire Nissan gave me a good price and also had the most professional email replies: -answered my questions honestly and in detail -what he said he had in stock agreed with the NissanUSA site inventory -gave a single fixed price instead of saying he would beat any other offer -offered to do the deal when I was ready and didn't keep insisting that I come on in and test drive right away Once I was at the dealership I was met by Anthony, and after the test drive we did the paperwork at the previously agreed price and I drove off in my new NAH in about an hour, with no other dealer personnel involved and no surprises. Very happy with the car and the 'no pressure' purchase transaction.Pleasant Experience

Financing was a breeze, I had done my numbers and they… matched what I expected, no games here. John in Finance & Ozzie in Sales. Its real fun to buy a car with them.Unprofessional!!
by anna84 on 03/05/2013updated 04/25/2025The finance dept were not honest with us about our finance options and when they realized another couple wanted to purchase the same car we were interested in they stopped working on making a deal with us and work on the couple to pay more… for the vehicle. We were very insulted by that and felt as though it was unprofessional to try to sell a car to someone when another person was working on purchasing it first. I would never go back to them for a vehicle!Great Buying Experience

I spoke with Dave Ky at Empire Nissan in Ontario and he gave me a price quote for the SV Rouge and a trade-in price for my trade. Dave was good to his word with… both the new Rouge price and the trade. When we entered the dealership he met with us within just a few minutes. One of the best part of the whole situation was the fact that the purchase and the financing were all handled by Dave himself. He had the Rouge ready and the financing all ready for us to sign. Every detail was done over the phone. We were so happy with our purchase of the Rouge, that we purchased another Rouge from Dave six months later. If you're looking for a sales and finance guy all in one, there are none better than Dave Ky.Highly Recommended. See Mo!!!!
by nour on 01/18/2012updated 04/25/2025Youll think I shouldnt write a review since I didnt buy a car yet but I had to say that after checking every single dealer in Ontario my friend said theres still the Empire Nissan we need to checkout. And quite honestly I was done… looking and dealing with the aggressive salesmen. It felt like they wanted to convince me to buy the fully loaded cars with crazy options I dont even know how to use just to get me to pay a crazy price. Reluctantly I went there expecting nothing better than what I have already experienced. But I have to say that I was really really surprised and actually my friend and I had so much fun and were laughing like couple of teenagers. It was a pleasant and enjoyable experience for a change. The salesman who came to assist us was Mo. A young and actually not bad looking guy at all. He was really patient with me since I couldnt make up my mind and was showing me every car I asked for and took us for a test drive. He even explained to me how to use the Bluetooth. What I liked is that he was very informative and answered all my questions even the silly ones without making me look like an idiot!!! He was extremely helpful and NOT PUSHY. He listened and reasoned with me why this car is better than that. I totally recommend going to Empire Nissan and of course asking for Mo. In case you are curious why I didnt end up buying a car its because I need to raise my score credit to get a better interest rate. I was dumb enough to let the other dealers run my credit thinking I was going to get a fair price, Huge MISTAKE not going to happen again. Next month I'm getting my car and I'm definitely coming back to this dealership...
