    Issue with power getting to the engine. Appeared to be a software problem. Boardwalk solved the problem and it was under warranty. Very happy to have the car back.

  • Forced to pay for $1300 tracker

    Purchased a 2023 Bolt EV from Boardwalk Chevrolet. Dealer added a $1300 tracker to the vehicle and said it was not removable since it had already been installed. However, it only takes few seconds to remove it from the car. Anyone can remove from the car easily. It is not something that attaches to the car permanently. I asked them to remove the tracker and they refused. They also never mentioned to me that the car already came with 3 years of OnStar with location services, and still added the $1300 tracker on top of OnStar. The tracker is useless, worse than AirTag, and it takes like an hour to fetch the location. With OnStar, I can get the exact location of the car right away. If you happen to purchase a car there and finds a tracker, please tell them to remove it and unpair it. The dealer was given instructions to uninstall the tracker, but wouldn't do that for me. Contacted GM Customer Engagement Center and filed a complaint on this dealer. Sales Manager still refused to refund.

    We just purchased our beautiful new 2023 Chevy Tahoe at Boardwalk Chevrolet. We had a Tahoe on order at our local dealership that was expected to arrive in early October. When the delivery was delayed, we began searching around for other Tahoes available. We found the perfect Tahoe at Boardwalk and Shon worked with us on price, financing, delivery options, etc. with excellent customer service. The entire dealership staff was very friendly and super efficient. This was the fastest and easiest car buying process I have ever experienced. Shon and David made the entire daunting task very pleasant. I would definitely refer anyone to check in with this dealership for your future car/truck or SUV needs.

    Initially I was quite frustrated with the response’s time of my Service writer. Many calls with no feedback. When I finally got the car back I found immediately that I needed a further appointment to reset software. More time off and no shuttle. In Jasons defense he did have some good advice and probably saved me some money

    If I could give less stars to this review I would...The dealership are [non-permissible content removed], pure and simple. And for what, it amazes me the dumb decisions people make sometimes. On the plus side, we bought a car from Boardwalk Chevrolet a couple of months ago. They wanted to get the deal done at end of month so the agreed to deliver it to us. I made sure to tell them to make sure it was clean inside and out, and one other thing we negotiated was a full set of rubber mats. Delivery comes, and the car is really, really dirty. Not happy. Also no mats. The dealer rep agrees IN WRITING to reimburse us for the cost of having the car cleaned (not full detail) and they would send us the mats. Needless to say, no mats every come, and although we were in contact with them several times and sent them the receipt for the $53 to get the car cleaned, zero response. We were never hostile in tone, but they stopped even calling/texting us back. So on principal I went to GM corporate to complain. After a few weeks of back and forth, they eventually sent the mats..but they refused to reimburse us the measly $53 wash they agreed in writing to give us back. GM eventually gave up, and so we are out the cost of the cleaning. My conclusion is that there are lots of Chevy dealers around, and my suggestion is that you run, not walk, away from dealing with these guys. If they cheat customers on small stuff like this, imagine what they might do on bigger stuff. Caveat emptor imo.

    Bought a 2013 Chevy Spark on 5/12/13. Ken G. was very friendly and helpful in showing my husband and me around. Even though my husband was at first skeptical of the small car, Ken answered all his questions and convinced him that this would be a great car for me. I would highly recommend Ken and Boardwalk Chevrolet to others. And I love my Sparky!
