He is not a just sales person. He was carefully listening my… speaking and tried to understand what I wanted. He repeatdly and kindly explained until I fully understanded it. He started talking with opening real market price on Truecar and his offer was better than price I expected. I felt he honestly opened his offer and explained about the offer. Unprofessional People
by rogercurtin on 03/03/2016We saw a car online, test drove it, liked it and started price negotiations. Generally, during negotiations at car dealerships, it is assumed that both parties are mature adults. But just like someone else pointed out in a previous… review, that was not the case at this place. Me and my family were treated like we have absolutely no knowledge of conducting a major purchase which involves negotiation and we were repeatedly insulted by immature middle school comments. This is 2016 and we have unlimited resources online to research any purchase, ESPECIALLY A CAR THAT COSTS FIVE FIGURES and Believe me, we did our homework. KBB, Edmunds, Autotrader, Cargurus, Carfax, Autocheck, various small used car dealerships' inventories online. And we came prepared to negotiate. I seriously doubt the sales people have any experience being around people of ethnicities and cultures that are not white. (--- For future reference to the dealer if you reading this: Just because people of other ethnicities make the negotiation challenging for you, does NOT mean we are cheap and low balling people with no knowledge. That is how negotiations work! Do you expect your jobs to be easy? Is that why you became car salesmen? You should try doing some actual work for your salaries. And learn to properly negotiate. That is how the real world works. Just because 6 out of 10 people paid the price you asked for, doesnt mean the other 4 who actually negotiate should be treated poorly---) We looked at about 8 different cars in different dealerships and all those salesmen were polite, patient and they conducted parts of the negotiations over the phone because we cant always make time to go into the dealership daily. Even though we walked out on them, when we called back they were extremely polite like they were supposed to be! BUT when we walked out on this guy and we called back on the second day of negotiations, he actually said " nu-uh-uhh i aint telling you nothin' over the phone, you gotta come in here for that". It was an extremely condescending tone and infuriating and unprofessional! Since we truly are in need of a car fast, we did go back that night, regrettably, but then we dealt with another person, who raised the price that was quoted by the first salesman by $1000. We mentioned that the other salesman quoted a lower price yesterday and that is the only reason we came in. And he says "no, that guy said he would TRY for that price, he didnt confirm it". OK. [non-permissible content removed]. And JUST LIKE another reviewer on YELP, Oriel B's experience!! He dealt with Bill and I dealt with Pete. They are both good friends apparently and have been car salesmen for a while so they're REALLY GOOD at ripping people off. This is not a fluke. At this point, after being insulted and dragged back in by [non-permissible content removed], they actually thought we were desperate enough to pay MORE. WE WALKED OUT FOR GOOD. After that, we got a few more condescending text messages from the first salesman, with an offer that was lowered by $300 from the ADDED $1000. How properly insulting!!!! We did not bother to reply. Today, At another dealership, we finalized the same car, same year, with a few thousand less miles, for exactly $300 more than this dealer's insulting quote. We were GLAD to pay more at Capitol Volkswagen in san jose, because that sales team was extremely polite and professional compared to [non-permissible content removed]. The Capitol people actually DO THEIR JOBS and on top of that, they are genuinely nice people. The FIRST STEP for this dealership, is to DO YOUR DAMN JOB. Learn to negotiate. AND STOP ACTING LIKE MIDDLE SCHOOLERS. If you cannot negotiate, find another job not all your customers will be willing to throw away their money WHILE being insulted! I REALLY WISH I would've read the reviews before going in. It was NOT worth it. The whole experience made me hate car salesmen and before this, I actually gave them the benefit of the doubt because I know it is not easy to sell a car. Maybe some immediate retraining is needed at this place to drag all of these people into the year 2016!Poor eGolf experience
by rk2015_egolf on 10/22/2015The new eGolf with 500 miles has been in the shop for 11 days. I opened a case with VW and was told that I'd hear back by Wednesday Oct 21st. Since I didn't get any call today, I am taking it up on me to reach out to dealer rating agencies.Latest update from VW is to check Oct 28th. VW Corporate or Stevens Creek have no idea on how to fix the car. STAY AWAY FROM EGOLF.........

Couldn't agree on a deal, due to manager's valuation of my trade-in. Salesman, Mark Chemali,… and I talked again on Friday on the phone and agreed on a much more favorable deal. Went in on Sautrday and purchased the Golf Sportswagen on the terms agreed to. Mark is a super nice guy and pretty much of a straight shooter. Management is kind of old school pushy, but Mark is low key and works to get the deal done in a respectful way.One Of The Best Car Buying Experiances I've Ever Had
by sapphirexae on 07/02/2010I contacted the dealership via Volkswagen's web site. I submitted a quote to all dealerships within a 100 mile radius. Stevens Creek VW beat every other dealership's price by a nice amount! Before going to the dealership for the 1st time, I… called Brent, the internet sales manager whom I had been speaking to via e Mail. It turns out it was his one day off that week but he came in anyway to assist me. He beat me there and had all the information I could ever have wanted waiting to go (including info on cars that were in-transit and not yet at the dealership). He also had one of the cars pulled out and ready for me to drive. I drove the car and LOVED it, he walked me all over the dealer showing me all of my options with colors and packages. I found the exact car that I wanted in the back lot. They negotiated an exceedingly amazing deal and threw in several options and goodies for me too! The finance manager (his name is Red) was also a delight to work with. So many sales people act nice but that's exactly what it is, an act. You can tell that these two gentlemen were genuinely nice, friendly and cared. I went back to the dealer a week later to pick something up and was treated with the same attention, friendly attitude and caring even though they already made the sale. If you are looking for a VW, this is THE place to go!!!! I HIGHLY recommend asking for Brent. Because of him, my 2008 VW EOS and I are very happy together!
