Bait and switch
by Karen on 09/25/2023I had an appointment with Christian to purchase a 2023 Toyota Hybrid Corolla. When I arrived, not only was the car not there, Christian was not there and there was another salesperson who said I had to deal with him, but he had seen my car⦠drive off the lot couple of hours prior. They tried to sell me into a much higher priced vehicle, and I left. No car. I was really frustrated and disappointed, and will never do business with them again.Worst Service
by Linda on 05/16/2017I called and made an appointment 5 days in advance! The morning of, they said they didn't have anything in the system... I have to wait 4-5 hours now. I recommend you get the name of the person or a confirmation number if you make an⦠appointment with this location! It was very unprofessional and I will not come back to this location. I would rather drive to Montclair! They have the best service out of all the Toyotas I've been to.Ron

by jameslandy on 03/23/2016A few days ago i returned to ValleyHi to have a 10000 mile synthetic vehicle service. When I called the service advisor I told her that I wanted a 10000 mile oil change. When I arrived at the dealer I once again told the lady I was there⦠for an oil change. After the job was finished I was given a workorder that said a synthetic vehicle service was completed. A few hours after I returned home a lady from the service department called me at home and said that I had to return my car because they forgot to change the oil. What should I do now? If I return to ValleyHi what else will the mechanic forget? Did he tighten the tire correctly?Did he leave a tool sitting on top of my engine? Did he really do the service I paid for?Thanks ValleyHi......for nothing.My next car will be purchased at Valley High Toyota!

I was treated like I was the most important customer there. Fred in⦠Service, and Diego is who I dealt with. This is a top notch Company ! ! ! !Dont send your wife to this dealership by herself
by brandon61 on 02/03/2016Don't send your wife to this dealership by herself. This is the second time in the last one half years they tried to up sell my wife a new tire for our brand new Toyota. She goes in for an oil change and they tell her theirs a nail inβ¦ the left front tire and that it's leaking air. Of course they tell her they can replace the tire. She tells them no just put air into it and that she'll drive straight to Town and Country Tire and have them fix the hole. So Town and Country Tire takes the wheel off and cannot find a nail in the tire. They dip the tire under water and it does not leak. I contacted the dealer and after talking to a few people over 2 days, I get the person in charge Evelyn Brown Customer Relations Director. Who tells me in an email quote, βThey are not in the habit of lying.β She's referring to the service department. LAST TIME I CHECKED TELLING SOMEONE A TIRE HAS A NAIL IN IT AND THE TIRES LEAKING. WHICH BOTH WERE NOT TRUE, I CONSIDER LYING. Plus the dealer wanted to charge her way more for the same exact tire on car then Town and Country Tire was for the same exact tire on the car.Great sevice and customer commitment!!

by montandon on 05/04/2008I called to check if this dealership had the car I wanted. I spoke to Scott in fleet/internet sales. I gave him the info on the car I wanted. He said they had that car. So I asked him for a price and he gave me a quote on the phone. It was⦠a $94.00 under what I thought would be a good price from my research. I told him I would take it and to get it ready and I would be there in a couple of hours. He said he would. I got there in about an hour and met with Scott. He showed me the car and it had one item that I didn't want but he said he through it in. That was very nice. He got the paperwork done in about 30 minutes. I was then taken to the finance department and Scott in finance was able to complete all paperwork in about 15 minutes. When we left finance the car had been washed and was at the gas station where they filled the tank. Whole process took about one hour fifteen minutes. Everything was easy and everyone was very friendly. Everything I was told on the phone and in person was 100% true. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had.Purchased 2008 Rav4

My wife and I went to Valley Hi Toyota to check to see what they had and met with a salesman named Kamal whom had previously given us a test ride. My wife decided she wanted leather so it⦠pretty much pushed us to buy a limited model. I was not really sure we would buy a car that day but asked Kamal if we could try and make a deal. They took the usual information came back and told me they usually want $1000 over invoice and I smiled and said I was thinking $500 under. Ten minutes later we had a very fair deal. Could not have been easier and none of the games I seem to remember so well. Finance was the same. They offered their services but did not push anything. I had already arranged financing but they were able to give me a rate half a percent under my already great rate so I took it. Like I said before I hate to buy new cars and was skeptical the whole time I was in the dealership but was always treated great. I have to apologize to the dealership, because I have some well earned trust issues with car dealers, but they did what they said they would do, with no games, and that wins a lot of respect in my book. I would definately give them a try next time before I leave town thinking I will get a better deal.
