He fought for us to get the price we wanted and became our voice to insure we are… well taken care off. Patrick walked us through the process and explained well. Another person who helped us was Darrell Clay, Finance Manager. After the deal was set, Darrell helped us with the paper work. He is easy to talk to and very out going person. Robert Chavez showed us a couple different options that he would qualify for, spent lots of time showing us the vehicles, explaining their features. They worked to get us the payment we… needed, took my trade in - even though I was upside down on the loan. My son drove away in a brand new Civic. I recommend this dealership, especially Robert. by dobrovodsky on 06/29/2014Recently I was cornered into a situation where I was looking into purchasing a vehicle. I say this because I owned a 95 Jeep Cherokee that I absolutely loved it- I would do my own maintenance on my Jeep, such as replacing parts like my… radiator, thermostat, water pump. I did it all. But a few weeks ago my car overheated due to a blown out head gasket. So I was at a point where I could spend money to rebuild part of my engine as well as spend a lot of time doing this- or just cut my losses and look into purchasing a newer vehicle. So I chose option 2, considering the rebuild may cause other issues to arise. So now I was constantly searching for used vehicles with different dealers. Calling non-stop and seeing if they could work with my situation, which is a part-time student while working part-time. And of course calling and finding some vehicles online did not pan out as well as I hoped. On paper these vehicles looked like such a good deal but in person was another story. Feeling extremely frustrated with my car hunt, I decided to look into a Costco Membership deal which applied to new vehicles only. Not what I was looking for considering the payments, but if I found a good deal then I was willing to take a look. From this I came into contact with Louis M. He was so much more than helpful. He was not trying to push anything on me, gave me more than enough time to think of my options while giving me the pricing breakdown and explained each of them. He also showed me the discount list from Costco as well as the invoiced price from the manufacturer so I would know I was getting more than just an awesome deal. I knew once all the paperwork was shown and him trying to give me more help with discounts that this was the car. I could tell that Louis was just an honest guy- and come on, in an industry of selling, when would you encounter someone like this? This great experience did not stop there. When I agreed to the deal, now it was time for the financing portion. I could tell that my nerves came back and so did the sales financier, James P. To ease this feeling, James made me feel extremely comfortable with my new decision. He went through all the packaging deals in detail and even gave me his honest opinion. He was even able to work out some pricing for the alarm packaging and gap protection so that I would be comfortable with the monthly payments. He was definitely trying to work with me, not trying to add any extras into the deal. He went through everything in detail, at times going through it all again. At times I was so overwhelmed he would ask if I needed a moment and stepped out to make me discuss this with my mother that was with me. At the end when we finally shook on a deal my 2014 Honda Civic LX was cleaned and ready for me. Louis walked me through all the fancy functions and showed me more things I can do in the car and let me know that I can contact him with any questions I may have or if there is anything that feels weird to give him a call so that they can take care of it. Overall, if I had to do this experience all over again I would go back to the Norm Reeves Honda Superstore in West Covina and ask for Louis and James. I have been spreading the word to all my family, friends, and co-workers anytime my new car comes up in conversation, because you won't be disappointed.Ramin R. best employee for the job

by jay176 on 12/06/2010My fiance and I did some homework and emailed several honda dealers and Oscar Acosta, the Internet Sales Manager at Norm Reeves Honda of West Covina emailed us back a quote which was reasonable, and it was the third lowest quote we had… received. When we emailed him back about the other quote which was lower than his, he immediately matched it and we were very happy! We made an appointment with Oscar and we were very pleased with the whole experience! Oscar was very helpful, explained everything very thoroughly and most of all he spent a good amount of time with us going over the car features and how everything works, etc. He even followed up with us within a couple of days of our purchase to find out how we liked our car and if we had any questions, etc. I would definitely recommend all my friends and relatives to go to norm reeves honda and work with Oscar Acosta! by csundeal on 11/23/2010updated 11/29/2010I did some homework and emailed several honda dealers and Norm Reeves Honda of West Covina emailed me back a quote which is reasonable, it is among the second lowest quote. I drove there and greeted by Oscar Acosta, he is very respectful… and helpful. I told him my quote from the other dealer which is about $450 cheaper than theirs. He didnt bother too much and asked his manager and got the price appoved for me and then started the paperwork for me. The whole process is very little hassle. and when I signed the financing paperwork, the financing guy recommended the 7 year/100,000 miles warrenty extension to me for $1600 and the security system for $799, I took his advice and added these two to my purchasing list. So the whole process didnt take long, and I got my car purchased whitin 2 hours.Purchase of 2011 Honda Civic LX-S

Oscar gave me a great internet price, but once I talked to Oscar I was still able to get even more savings plus extras. No pressure,… great experience through the whole purchase. Oscar went over the whole car explaining all the functions. Oscar spent as much time as I needed on the Honda Fit. by boggs_kc on 08/07/2010First of all the reason why I decided to go to this dealership is because of the reviews here in Edmunds.com. Also, the reason why I registered with Edmunds.com is to leave this review so it may help other customers like it helped… me. Oscar Acosta was the one I exchanged emails with in working out the pricing for the vehicle. The best thing about the deal was that he matched other offers from other dealers. He also gave me the quotation of the OTD (out the door) price when I requested for it, because I was afraid there will be hidden fees but I was so glad that there weren't any. They also gave me free wheel locks. For the financing, just be sure to get as much information about your credit score as you can. For me, I felt like I could have negotiated a better rate but because I didn't look into my credit score that much I wasn't not prepared to negotiate. So, this is partly my fault. Although, during the deal I learned that they are required by the government to show you your credit score, so maybe you can ask them to show you your score before you negotiate on the rate. As for the finance and insurance manager, I kinda felt bad because she wasn't able to sell me anything aside from the gap insurance which is an additional $1 per month. In summary, I would recommend this dealership to other people and if I were to buy another Honda I would definitely buy it from this dealer even though it is 20+ miles away from where I live.AWESOME SERVICE!

by tnoyes on 03/07/2010I just got back from buying a car at Norm Reeves Honda (West Covina), and it was definitely the most pleasant experience that I have ever had buying a car. I used Edmunds.com and dealerships' websites to solicit price quotes via email.… Their internet manager, Oscar Acosta, was the first one to respond, quoted a very reasonable price, and also provided the "out-the-door" price that I had requested (only 1 in 3 of the 12 dealers that I contacted did so). I took my time collecting other price quotes and responding to dealers who "just needed a little more information from me," but in the end it was a waste of time. Oscar and I communicated mainly via email; he responded promptly and directly to my questions. The car was waiting for us at promised time today, we gave it a test drive, we signed the papers, Oscar walked us through the basic features, and we drove home. Total time at the dealership this afternoon: 2.5 hours.Excellent purchasing experience, gorgeous facilities!
by blueser on 03/04/2010I can't recommend Norm Reeves Honda in West Covina enough. I am a first-time Honda owner, having just purchased a 2010 Insight Ex w/ navi last week. Peter Munoz was my salesman and not only did he make me feel comfortable and welcome… right away, he took me on a comprehensive test drive and he actually seemed excited to be out for the drive! He got my car ready for delivery and made sure everything was just so. What's more, he availed himself post-sale for any questions I had. Perhaps most important of all, he beat my Costco auto program quote that I received from another Honda dealership as well as the offer price from the Costco rep at Norm Reeves! I have already been in for a service call to get fog lights and other accessories installed. That was a very good experience as well. This dealership has a new building that is only about 6 months old. It's nice!!! Makes me want to hang out and use my wifi and watch the big screen even if I have no official business there! There were no surprises or aggressive sales tactics and that actually made the whole car buying experience relaxing (if you can believe it!). I cannot recommend Oscar highly enough. The night before I purchased the auto, I called in and was connected to speak with the General Manager, Todd, he was awesome. He informed me of the promotions that Honda… was having and told me when I come in he will greet me personally. He was not rude in a way and made me feel that I will get a great deal, WHICH I DID, thanks to both Todd and the sales rep, Al. Al, was also awesome, he was the first sales rep to approach my dad and I. I explained to him that my father's credit is great and he would be financing the car for me. He told me that there should be no problem approving me on my own and I could trade in my car for a great price. Even though, I decided not to trade in the car, because I honestly, got a great and HONEST sweet deal from both Al and Todd who make a dynamic team. Both were very friendly and most importantly HONEST, If you want an HONEST deal, go to Norm Reeves, you will not be ripped off and will be pleased with the experience. I had gotten quotes from 8 Honda dealers from Lancaster to Loma Linda, including Galpin, Sierra and Metro. Norm Reeves beat them by… over $2000 in one case. Oscar Acosta is the Internet Sales Mgr. He is awesome to deal with. He was very patient with all the questions I had, returned my calls quickly, is very honest and friendly and really knows his business. The dealership is VERY clean, even the bathrooms. Everyone is friendly and helpful and NOT pushy. I recommend Norm Reeves Honda to ANYONE interested in a Honda.Great services- Internet Sales-Oscar

I dealt with Oscar Acosta, the internet manager, at Norm Reeves Honda in West Covina through email. We agreed on the price of the car went to the dealer to signed the contract. Norm Reeves honored the agreed price and less than 1 1/2 half we were driving a Honda accord off the lot. Oscar is an experience salesman that cares about his customers. He explains every detail on the purchase of the vehicle. Talk about experience and service Oscar provides both. Great Job I would recommend Oscar to everyone on the market for a Honda.
