I stopped by to have my truck looked at for a sale to the dealership. Carl was polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. He made me a very reasonable offer and now I have a new Tundra!! You should feel very comfortable in dealing with this… dealership.

by Jessica on 03/22/2021We just completed our second experience at Mountain States, and we will be back in the future! We really enjoy the friendly nature of our Sales Rep - John Saldivar. We was super patient, helped keep us within our budget, and really helped… walk me through the trade-in process. I really enjoy that he isn't super-pushy, and has an all around kind nature. It was also our second experience working with our Finance Rep- Jesse Shearman. He's really informative while moving the process along at a quicker pace. He worked hard to help get us the coverage we needed at a rate we could manage. Additionally, the Finance Manager, Emily Caldwell, did an awesome job of coming up with creative ways to make our purchase happen. Altogether, we are just really satisfied with the experiences we have had at Mountain States each time we've visited!Win-win deals actually ARE possible
by M Gregory on 03/22/2021Life’s too short to waste time on the empty promises, bait-and-switch tactics, and zero-sum negotiations engaged in by many mainstream car dealerships. Car-buying should be super-easy, right? I mean: I have money, you have vehicles -… let’s just do this. Well, the dealers in my hometown haven’t figured out this simple concept, which prompted me to seek out Mountain States Toyota. On a map, Mountain States is 1000 miles away from my home, but where it counts - high integrity and mutual respect - we’re basically neighbors. Chelsea White and Michael Ramstetter went above and beyond to make purchasing my new 2021 4Runner smooth and hassle-free, and they remained customer-centered throughout. Through a small handful of emails and phone calls, they communicated promptly and clearly, committed to specifics of my selected vehicle, and kept me advised on that vehicle’s projected arrival timing. On purchase day after I arrived at the dealership, we finished everything up in about an hour and I was on the road. Good people. I’ll gladly seek them out next time I plan to buy a Toyota.No nonsense

He was a great source of information, practical recommendations, and… attention to detail, without making me feel pressured. Even after I spent a great deal of time researching trucks to find exactly what I wanted, Dan was still able to show me features of my model that no one else had mentioned, and put my confidence in the purchase right over the top. Also, the place is clean, professional, and just a nice place to shop for a Toyota.Couldn't be any Happier!

Immediately Doan was very attentive, even well he was working with his current client. He was very… knowledgeable and honest and reassured all my doubts. He went above and beyond by making sure I was approved and in the vehicle I wanted by Monday evening. I will always recommend and use Doan as sales rep going forward. by DONT BUY FROM MOUNTAIN STATES on 03/03/2021WORST dealership ever! They do not even deserve one star. To begin with when purchasing the vehicle Nick Fuentes-Ibanez was extremely unprofessional. He rushed me when I asked questions and did not seem to be in the best interest of me, he… was "ready to go home and play on his switch with his wife and child" . I Insisted on purchasing Gap insurance and he REFUSED and REFUSED and REFUSED claiming that if he sold it to me his bosses would look at him funny, he grew increasingly annoyed when I told him I wanted to add Gap because of my past experiences but he cared more about the benefit of him. I should have walked out then and there but I wanted to give this dealership the benefit of the doubt. Worst mistake EVER! Towards the end of the transaction I asked Nick if he needed my paystubs and he said no, he didn't need them which I found odd but clearly he just wanted to go home to play his video game. When I took the car home the NEXT MORNIING i saw a leak under the car. When I drove it to work which is only 2 miles from my house, the car began smoking and making a noise in the middle of the drive. I had to pull over because the car was pretty much on fire and I did not want to hit any cars. I NEARLY DIED AND DID NOT EVEN HAVE THE CAR FOR A FULL 24 HOURS! This was on Christmas day so they were closed but immediately the next day I called the dealership back and spoke with the sales manager James Longsdorf who was of no help at all. I asked to return the car and he said No (It was still within 3 days of the purchase and the problem happened the next day, they should have made the situation right... Instead he said it was my fault (it wasn't) and that I was on my own. Every mechanic I showed said there was no possible way that it was my fault and that the dealership ripped me off. He said I could try to use my extended warranty EXCEPT, the catch was that they forgot to mention that my deal on the car with the bank was never accepted because pay stubs were not submitted..... Nick should have took my paystubs when I told him about it but because he loves to play switch more than take his job seriously, I was stuck struggling for rides waiting for a deal to be accepted on the LEMON they sold me. Getting in contact with James was near impossible as he did not return emails or calls. This dealership does not respond to serious matters in a timely matter nor do they care about customers NOR DO THEY DISCLOSE THE EXTENT OF THE EXISTING PROBLEMS... Let me not forget that the hole radio/navigatiion system stopped working 3 days later. The number of times I had to get a tow truck for a car I did not even drive 20 minutes is ridiculous. They have screwed me over financially but I'm lucky to have not crashed into someone or something. I should have went to Carmax but now I have to bother lawyers all day. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP, they are not worth it!!!!!!!!!New car purchase

by Micah on 02/15/2021My experience here was truly awful. I'm only leaving a review because my multiple voicemails and emails to managers have gone unanswered. These guys allow their salesmen to make commitments they have no ability to keep, which in turn leads… to the salesmen telling lies about what they can promise. They list cars that aren't ready to sell, commit to having them ready, and have no ability to make it happen. Once I signed the papers, there was no perceived need for them to hold up their end of the bargain, and I made commitments that I couldn't keep because of the lies I was told. There was no attempt at customer service or to make it right. Simply, "sorry, it's out of my control." Buying a used car should not involve as much drama or cajoling as this produced and required. I will not be a customer for life, despite how many times they tried to corner me into saying I would.Amazing Service

Doan did not make you feel any sort of pressure to buy a car and you could… tell he has your best interest at heart. by Nordo531 on 12/29/2020Not much to say except sale was the way it’s supposed to be done. We found inventory number, called for an accurate OTD price. Showed at dealer and Mr Doan Vu had paperwork and RAV4 ready. He did then show us upgraded model, which fit… our needs better, but even then no stupid “car salesman games.” Paperwork updated and we were out the door in record time. There’s a Toyota dealer 2 miles from our house where we bought new last time. We drove 2+ hours each way to Mountain States and were still home sooner. No games.
