    I am really satisfied of Acura of Berlin service. Had a recall about excessive oil consumption of my wife's TSX 2010. Excellent attitude and support from Richard Bird ! He helped me a lot. They replaced so many parts and did actually engine overhaul. Made a lot of miles after that - no problem at all ! Would go again there. I have two acuras and I have found my place to go ! Highly recommend !

    My entire buying experience with Acura of Berlin was excellent! Both Lundney and Howard were extremely knowledgeable. When I first contacted them I knew exactly which vehicle I wanted, and how I wanted to finance. I told Ludney all of this when I called in to inquire. Not once did I feel pressured to purchase anything different, or choose a different finance. The vehicle runs and looks great.

    This was by far the worst car shopping experience I have ever dealt with. I was strongly advised to not go to this particular dealership by a friend who had 2 bad experiences here. As someone who leases a new car every 2-3 years, I frequently visit dealerships and I'm familiar with the process of buying a new car. I am respectful of the person/manager helping me but I'm firm with what I want and how much I want to spend. The sales person at this dealership would not negotiate on anything, in fact when I asked I got a smug comment "absolutely not budging". When I had the manager work out a few different scenarios he rudely sighed as if I was bothering him, and then ended up coming out to talk to me only to give me an attitude and then walk away abruptly. I was not happy with the offer given and kindly mentioned going elsewhere. The sales person smiled and over confidently said "Good luck, you won't find anything better". Based on the fact that they "don't budge" on price and that the manager made me feel like I was interrupting his day, I will NEVER return here nor will I refer this place to anyone!

    I contacted Acura of Berlin concerning a Acura they have listed on one of the online websites, I talked to sales rep. Larissa told her what I was looking for and made an appointment to come in to test drive a vehicle. We looked at a couple of cars and drove a beautiful 2013 MDX which performed in all ways up to my expectations, unfortunately at this time we couldn't get together on a price (not that it was priced too high, we just had budgeted a little lower) we are still trying to make it work. The reason for this review isn't the car it is for Larissa Hartline, I am 62 years old and have bought many cars and dealt with many more car sales reps. over my lifetime (many moons ago I was one of them) but I have never met or dealt with a more knowledgeable, informative and pleasant sales rep. in all my car buying experiences, Larissa obviously enjoys her occupation and it shows in dealing with her. I don't know how my auto buying experience will turn out but from now on Acura of Berlin will always be the first dealership on my list. Folks if you are looking for a new or used car give Larissa a call, any fear or anxiety about your purchase will disappear.

    Dear Tony Braglia and Acura of Berlin, I recently leased a 2017 RDX AWD with Advanced Package and I wanted to compliment your staff, especially Larissa Hartline, who was my main contact person. Larissa was professional, thorough, and knowledgeable about the Acura products and answered all of my questions. She went above and beyond my expectations about contacting me about newly available used cars, evaluating the Kona Coffee brown color, and scheduling my various appointments. She works very hard and even contacted me by text during non-normal business hours, which I appreciated very much since some items were time dependent (availability of a used car). As I was looking for a new car, I visited 11 different dealerships in the area and Larissa was the most attentive sales person I encountered. You are lucky to have her on your staff. Other staff members Geno (lease agreement) and Ludney (trade-in evaluation) were also efficient and professional. I look forward to future interactions with Acura of Berlin. Thanks so much!

    Went to visit Jerry on a Sunday on a whim to take the 2017 RDX out for a drive. Came back the following weekend to talk. Jerry & Tony spent time going through options. Left to go think about it, absolutely no pressure sales pitches. Came back and bought it. Working with Jerry and Geno is always a pleasure!

    I am on my 3rd Acura. I love them! I just picked up a new 17 MDX and it is such a beautiful vehicle I cannot even believe it. I actually considered going with a different brand of car but I just couldn't do it. It was hilarious. In the 9th hour, for the love of the car, I ran back to Acura of Berlin to pick out my new MDX!!! Each time Gerry Campana has been my sales representative. He is tried-and-true and I could never transact with anyone else. It is clear to see based on all the other reviews that he is the kindest and most genuine man for a sales representative, a God given gift to the Acura Brand and Acura of Berlin. Geno, Tiffany and Ludney and Steve in Service are all the best! So thank you Acura of Berlin! I have already given out business cards.

    We bought our car from Gerald Campagna who did a great job at explaining the car buying process. This was not our first new car. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. We then worked with Geno who also was extremely professional. He went over the options and warranties without a sales pitch, just gave us the information needed to make a decision. The entire prcess couldn't have been handled better. Great staff/.

    Buying a car has never been on the top of my list of fun things to do - but at Acura of Berlin I had a very good experience. Gerry was the sales person I worked with and he was very personable, informative and patient. He was very low-keyed and answered all my questions. I had a much more pleasant buying experience than I had expected. Gerry made buying a car fun and exciting. There was none of the high pressure that I had expected to encounter. I would recommend this dealership and Gerry to anyone looking to buy a new or used vehicle.

    I worked with Gerald Campana on the purchase of a TLX and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. No pressure and very responsive/informative. Gene and Ludney were also great.     I recently purchased my 2013 Acura MDX certified by Acura. It was my first purchase from this dealership and my overall experience was exceptional. Gerry is a great sales manager and I am happy with my SUV. They were willing to negotiate on the purchase price and they made a reasonable offer for my trade in. So overall this was a great experience and I would recommend Acura of Berlin to anyone.

    I purchased a new 2016 MDX from Acura of Berlin. My sales person was Gerald Campana and he was great from beginning to end. Gerald was very honest, knowledgeable and helpful while answering all my questions regarding the purchase of my new MDX. I have been a long time customer of Acura of Berlin. This is a great dealership to purchase a new or used car if I need to purchase another Acura in the future, will definitely contact Gerald at Acura of Berlin. Thanks for extra oil change.

  • Stressful, Rude, and Terribly MISLEADING!

    Acura of Berlin was a time consuming, misleading disappointment. Initially, I called up the store and asked for the price on a specific vehicle, pending a $5000 dollar deposit on my part. He put me on hold and came back on the phone a few minutes later with a price of $319 a month. I agreed to buy the car, and put down the deposit. Next thing you know, I get a call saying that I can't have the car and did not qualify because, although I own a business and provided proof of a pretty steady, pretty substantial stream of revenue, I did not have pay stubs and therefore did not qualify. I asked if there was anything I could use in lieu of paystubs, or if there were any way around it and I was told that if I could not provide pay stubs then I did not qualify and could not have the car. Mind you, I was already told I could have the car, already filled out paper work, and already put down a $5000 deposit. Frustrated I called up my initial sales rep and asked if he could do something about the situation. Eventually I got a call that I could have the car and they were mistaken. So after jumping through all of those hoops, I went to go sign the final papers and now the car was $400, plus another $20 for the warranty! So it went from $319 a month to $400 a month, $100 more than they told me. Then when I get the car and I’m ready to leave, he walks me to the door and says ‘I can’t show you how to use that car, or how to use anything in that car, we sell Acuras not Inifinitis, so Good luck!’. I left feeling frustrated, appalled at the service I received, drained from the emotional tug of war of being told I could have the car and then I could not have the car and then I could have the car again, and disgusted with the parting words from the sales rep. I own my own business and was always taught through many years working in customer service and training employees under me as well, that you always help the customer with whatever they need and if you don’t know something, you tell them you will find somebody who does. He practically scoffed at my choice in car, and said ‘I can’t help you with your car so good luck’. Acura of Berlin was the most disappointing and stressful car buying experience, and I don’t recommend using them for anything other than masochistic intent. They haven’t even given me my plates yet! I’m still driving around with dealer plates! The employees should be ashamed of themselves for misleading customers on price, and on the quality of their customer service. I’ve received better service at Mcdonald’s after midnight in a bad neighborhood.

    My wife and I live in MA but saw a used car (Toyota RAV) that we were interested in on-line at Acura of Berlin, CT. We decided to take a ride to the dealership which was over an hour away. We really didn't think that we could work a deal on the car that we wanted within our budget, but we were pleasantly surprised. We talked to Jerry Campana and told him what we were looking for and he made it happen. No games or gimmicks. None of the "I have to run it by so and so". The entire experience was wonderful. Gerry is a great guy and he really worked for us. We received an excellent trade-in value coupled with a great price on the car that we purchased. The entire experience could not have been better starting with Jerry in sales, then with Geno Humphries who got us a very low interest rate, and the team who detailed the car also did a great job. My wife and I would highly recommend doing business with this dealership.

    I have been working with Acura of Berlin for about the past week on buying a used vehicle. I met with Jerry Campana and Ludney Derosiers several times and spoke with them on the phone as well. Both Jerry and Ludney were extremely helpful and quick to address any concerns and questions. Ultimately I ended up purchasing a vehicle from this dealer. I thoroughly enjoy the car and it is in great condition with low miles for a used car. Being the first time I have bought a car new or used, I was pleasantly surprised by the speed and ease of the process while at Acura of Berlin. I would highly recommend paying Jerry Campana and Ludney Derosiers at Acura of Berlin a visit the next time you are in the market for a vehicle. Great experience!
