Don't let your guard down.
by robrt on 07/28/2009I had gone to Executive Nissan due to the fact they had the better selection of vehicles I was looking for on the lot. I had already gotten pre-approval for financing and had a good idea of the vehicle option and price I was willing to… pay. The price negotiation and agreed upon price for the vehicle were non eventful. I am happy with the price I paid for the vehicle. Next came the high pressure sales of financing options that benifit the dealer and not the customer and selling useless addons that only make money for the dealership. Tip: When presented with a monthly payment number, ask what the APR and length terms are. They won't tell you that. It's usually not that favorable to you the customer. After acceptance of the selling price, which included an option that wasn't really an option (pretty deceptive) it was onto the Business Manager for more high pressure sales. Again with the finance offers, extended warrentees and useless add ons. At one point the Business Manager called in the saleman who wrote up my purchase and, while I was sitting there, repremanded him for placing the receipt for my down payment in the wrong paperwork folder. Very unprofessioinal. In all, I am very happy with the vehicle I purchased. I am not so happy with the process. I would only recommend this dealership as long as the buyer remains cautious, on guard and goes to the showroom prepared with financing and vehicle information. Do not go into this showroom on a whim and expect to not get fleeced.Best Car Dealership!!

by jmarchi on 06/04/2011updated 04/28/2025My wife purchased her vehicle in 2008 with 28K miles on the odometer we where haggled to purchase the extended 60K mile warranty that was explained to cover us up too 88K miles but this isn't the case. Easy Care which covers that extended… warranty only covers 60K total and not an additional 60K on the odometer reading so we only had 32K miles coverage. The finance manager Jeff told me over the phone that the customer service at Easy Care where idiots and didn't know what they are talking about and that he would contact them and get it straightened out. Then he calls my wife and says that the terms changed in 2008 before we purchased our vehicle and our car is no longer covered and we are at 82K miles with no coverage and a bad transmission. Thanks for working with the integrity and great customer service Executive Jeep, North Haven, CT!!! I also had purchased my previous 2003 Jeep Liberty from the same dealer and salesperson, Danny C. Danny is an excellent salesperson… being that he does not talk you into something you do not want and you feel that you are not being pressured like many other car dealers make you feel. I find that he is truthful and fully cares about your purchase. If I end up buying another jeep down the road, I will definitely deal with Danny again!Great Car Buying experience - 12/10

Dave Jones, Internet Mgr, contacted me directly, and the whole process from… seeking exactly the model of car I wanted with options to negotiating the price and options (that I did not want initially) and a trade in vehicle, was completed by Dave in a professional and considerate manner. The beat other dealer's price with little effort on my part. My wife and I had been… looking for a new mid-sized car for some time. We researched, priced and tested many cars at several dealerships. When we narrowed the search down to the Nissan Altima and one other brand we began comparing dealerships. Our first impression of Executive Nissan was very good due to Don (our salesperson) making us feel very comfortable. No pressure and no overselling. We also spoke with a sales manager who was very good too. Once the price was agreed to, which was very fair and below other dealers, we finished the sale with Josh in Finance. EVERYONE was very nice and treated us with respect. I truly believe we could not have been treated any better or have gotten a better deal anywhere else. If our next car is a Nissan we will definitely buy from Executive.The Best Experience

From start to finish it was evident that customer service was a priority for them. Gary, the Internet sales manager, worked with us via email during our… initial search. He was courteous and responsive. He understood our needs and made sure that our trip was not in vain. When we traveled from NY to CT, we met our salesperson, Stephanie. We found her customer service to be outstanding. She was competent, organized, and willing to make a fair deal. She was also willing to come in on her day off to deliver my new car! Jesse's work as business manager closed an already pleasant experience. He was organized, efficient and helpful. It was a pleasure to do business with an honest and courteous sales staff.
