    Don't know why there are not more positive reviews on this dealership, Indeed the 1st time I visited (2007) I had an issue with the sales person (price) and walked out to buy a Honda. Did not get to the Honda dealer up the street when my wife called, Paul Barberino was looking to make things right - and did. Next time was thru their internet sales site. Got everything at the price I wanted with no wasted time on my behalf. This time I once again went thru the internet sales team taking advantage of a promotion and in my opinion received a very good deal. Had a couple hiccups but were resolved immediately & I now have a new Rogue- thanks Rob H. & Raoul G.

    My daughter, Kim, having graduated Medical School, was notified in the eleventh-hour, that the position with an “ivy league University/hospital) a had been aborted. Fortunately, another IvyLeague facility (in Mass.) offered her a position as a Doctor, and… she had to report to her new position in just a few days. For weeks prior, Kim and I had been looking at pre-owned automobiles at Dealerships in Connecticut (to no avail). Kim needed a substantial trade-in on her car (in order to afford a replacement car). She needed a 4-wheel drive vehicle, sturdy enough to forge through New England Winters (and trips home to Connecticut) yet... small enough to find daily parking in downtown Boston! She needed creative financing (since Med School didn't come cheap and she'd have a cash flow problem for a while)! Kim had seen one very basic car elsewhere ( that could fit her budget ) but… it fell short in every other aspect. As we walked around Barbarino Nissan in Wallingford, CT… Kim grew anxious since she couldn't find much in the way of a lesser class of automobile in a lower price range. It was then that the Salesman stepped in, introduced himself as "T" and asked how he could help. I answered (half in frustration (realizing that all of the cars in the lot "out-classed" her target model and thus had a price tag commensurate with its superiority. In fact... the only car that immediately attracted Kim was her "dream car". Knowing the price and prestige it normally demands... she tried to avoid even looking at it. "T" noticed her repeated stare at that one car and finally asked if we could excuse him a moment. He returned with the keys and asked Kim if she wanted to just take it for a drive and "get it out of her system". She jumped at the opportunity and loved every minute of it. At the same time, finally seeing the sticker price... she parked it and walked away. We started looking at other cars but her "Dream Car" was starting to attract me now! First... it was built solid and handled like a dream. It was meticulous and "near-new" with ultra-low mileage! It had 4-wheel drive and top ratings in its class for safety. My next concern was the cost of maintaining this superior automobile. It was time to sit with the Finance Manager (David) who also introduced the Owner of the Dealership. I was impressed with their personal attention and willingness to "break down barriers" and do whatever it took to make the sale comfortable for us! David worked his magic and put the results before his boss who approved it! When I mentioned the price of Kim's "Dream Car" as being above her budget... I expected them to counter with an offer for a lesser car at a lower price. Instead, they exceeded our every expectation! They began by giving Kim a higher trade-in on her vehicle. They lowered the cost of their car (to make it more affordable). Then... knowing my concern for Kim's initial inability to pay for potentially expensive future repairs… they included a substantial "Bumper to Bumper warranty! We were shocked and excited. The Finance Manager (David) and the Owner worked magic and put Kim’s wants and needs ahead of their optimum profit potential! Barbarino Nissan actually removed every obstacle in our path while making the deal more and more affordable. The last remaining obstacle was the necessity to have the car serviced,registered and insured for Kim (and her 4x4 title transferred to Barbarino Nissan by the next day! They did it! Kim was so happy and I was so impressed that I couldnt possibly recommend any other Dealer to a family member, friend or associate. Barbarino Nissan exceeded every expectation and expedited the deal in time for her to report to work on time, happy and poised to share her experience and recommendation to all her friends. We have experienced what 70 years of excellence and experience can do to make dreams happen! Thats the Barbarino Difference! Thanks, Barbarino! Mike & Kim Santora

    I did an online Credit application, then called the dealership, told them what I was interested in,. my sales person Kyle T was responsive, and answered all my questions!! He was great... We got the deal done, and the car was prepared to my specifications. I got it all done in less than a day!!.... I would recommend him, and this dealership if you are looking for your next vehicle. Very pleasant, professional experience....If you need a vehicle, they have a great selection, and the finance, and signing was an easy pain free experiance. I have a lot of car over time, but Barbarino's made it an impressive experience!!

    I recently requested quotes on a vehicle. Jen from Barberino was very nice and one of several that responded. I described what I wanted and completed a credit app. right over the phone. She gave me a quote and said everything was all set. She also said that if I received a better quote to bring it in and they would beat it. Made an appt to come in and also did receive a better quote which I brought with me. I greeted very nicely and began filling out the required paperwork. Things took a complete turn when I produced two quotes from other dealers which were better and I reminded them of what Jen stated. I ended up seeing three other employees of Barberino who gave every excuse of problems they were having on my end in beating the quotes. They also attempted to add Acquisition Fee to the contract which is for leases not purchases. Due your research on Acquisition Fees. If they tried it on me they might have done it to you. That is profit for them. They never looked at my trade-in and in the end said they couldn't get financing for the amount I wanted.(I ended up getting the amount and more at another dealer). I had the money for the difference to put down but thankfully I was so fed up being jerked around for 3 hours I didn't. They did not live up to one of their own Top Five Reasons. I ended up going to a different dealer getting a better car at a better price and better financing. If you get a better quote from some else there is a reason for it. Drive right by Byeberino and see Executive. I know I will be for now on as well as tow of my children who are thinking of new purchases. Good Luck

  • DO NOT PUT A DEPOSIT ON CAR!

    I put a deposit on a car in Aug of 2012 asking first if I can have a refund is I decided not to purchase the car. I was assured that I would. We did try to purchase the car but no one wanted to assist us. I asked for my refund and was told that I had to wait until the check cleared. When I finally requested a refund with a copy of the cancelled check, I was told that they had already refunded it and sent me a copy of a cancelled check. The signature was NOT mine and was deposited in an account at a bank that was NOT mine and they are refusing to send me another check because they already did. Someone there is writing the checks to the consumer and is depositing those checks into their own account. I dont even know how a bank is depositing a check into an account that is not the owner of the check! Shame on you Bank of America!!!

    I recently purchased a used vehicle at Barberino Brothers Nissan located in Wallingford, CT and I am extremely satisfied. Most of us are enduring difficult times in this economy and are restricted to a tight budget. The Barberino Team is completely passionate about the customers needs and was able to meet my financial needs allowing my family to purchase a reliable vehicle at a very reasonable price with a fantastic warranty that will ensure we will not have to worry about any out of pocket expense for service related issues for a few years. I would like to personally thank the professionalism of Mike C from the Sales Dept and Brandon from the Finance Dept. Again, Thanks to the entire team at Barberino Brothers Nissan

    Barberino ROCKS! We are definatly the unluckiest of the unlucky, or so I thought!With 3 out of 3 cars at home all in need of repair and only 1 repairable within reason it was Barberino to the rescue! We were only going to buy what we wanted this time for "our " price and just knew NO ONE around would match it, but we found out Barberino was NOT A NO ONE! Got what we wanted, great price, and extraordinary service thanks to Bobby T !!!!!! Ask for Bobby T you won't be disappointed!

    After a long day of shopping around at every Nissan dealership in Connecticut, looking for a 2014 Graphite blue Frontier SV model with the convience package was hard to find. My last and final stop was Barberino Nissan of Wallingford CT. I walk in the front entrance and was greeted right away, Then I was introduce to a sale person name JP. I told JP my situation, he understood and work his magic. unfortunately he didn't have the truck in stock. JP and his team located the truck from a different dealer. He had the truck ship to Barberino in a matter of 2 days. I inspected the truck, and it had everything I wanted. I was blown away on there customer service. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a new vehicle.

About our dealership
