    I bought my Civic Hybrid from Hoffman Honda in 2002. Hoffman has serviced it regularly for the past 12 years. I have been impressed by the competence of the mechanics, the courtesy of the service advisors, and the reasonableness of the charges. This all speaks to good management. Highest recommendation!

    I brought my 06 civic in for a oil change and a inspection of a noise I was hearing. Within two hours of dropping it off I was given an explaination of what was wrong and what was needed and asked if I would like the service done. Dan is by far the best service advisor at Hoffman Honda, he's very through and explains everything abd won't do service that isn't needed, my next apt will deff be with him as my service advisor.

    I was concerned about a flapping sound when I applied my breaks, so I made an appointment. Upon arriving at Hoffman Honda, I was greeted by Rocky S., my assistant service manager. As always, Rocky consulted with Eric D., the best certified technician I have known, and they quickly solved my problem. Rocky makes things easy! He is quick to understand a problem and explains things exceptionally well and clearly. Simply stated: he cares! I am very fortunate to have him as my my service manager.

    Sales Consultant Marcell T. and GM Steve D. were extremely helpful in assisting me to find the perfect car. I got a great deal on my trade in car which helped even more. Buying a new car is exciting however, it can be a bit overwhelming and emotionally exhausting. That was not the case at Hoffman as they moved the process along pretty quickly and even stayed open late to help me get the car ASAP.

    When taking delivery of a 2010 used Honda Fit, I noticed what appeared to be a small dent in the rear bumper. I didn't remember seeing this dent before buying the car, and didn't remember seeing anything about it on CarFax. After I got the car home and looked at it more closely, the bumper was actually cracked through the plastic and sprung slightly from the side panel. I brought this to my salesman, Rudy H.'s attention, and, after some negotiation, he agreed to have it fixed with no charge to me. During the whole process Mr. H. kept the lines of communication open, indicating that the customer is important at this dealership, even after the sale.

    I recently had a cargo shelf installed in my 2010 Honda Fit Sport; Jeremy, my service advisor, had me in and out in record time. Very fast and very courteous service. I will be bringing my Honda Fit to Hoffman for all my service needs. Great place, great people.

    My wife and I recently purchased a 2013 Accord from Hoffman. The car was terrific except it would sometimes make an irritating rattle. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts to fix the situation. the General Manager, Steve D., got involved. Steve and his team dedicated a lot time and expense to make sure we drove away satisfied. We ended up resolving the problem and are totally satisfied. I would highly recommend buying a Honda from Hoffman.

    Purchased a new 2014 CRV from Ronnie - it was the easiest transaction ever. He answered all questions we had. All of the people that we dealt with at the dealership were very pleasant and very accommodating. Would recommend the dealership to anyone that is looking to purchase a new or used car.

    I bought a new Civic Coupe a few weeks ago and, for whatever reason, the seat was causing me back problems. Never have I thought of returning a car, but that's exactly what I had to do. Sarah K. helped me each time and from start to finish (both times!) she was nothing but kind, helpful, and always full of good humor. This situation had the potential to be so much worse, but she made it "o.k" which propelled me to do what I needed to do...turn in a new car for a different new car!

  • Never at a Loss for "Positive" Words about Hoffman Honda

    My Accord is in such good mechanical shape I am not at the dealership very often! When I am - I leave their property without even considering I have been at a 'repair' or 'service' shop. I feel privileged and pampered, and have come to expect this treatment because with Hoffman, there is no other way. The car and I are always under Rocky's care, but recently the car needed body repairs and we were under Chris' care. Rocky is a more like a 'good friend' who happens to work at Hoffman. His personal attention - that he remembers everything about your car and your preferences - the ease at which he puts you - I can't say enough. No mysteries. No surprises. Now that I have met with Chris I can say I have two 'friends' at Hoffman. Yes - my insurance company paid for the repairs, but the costs were reasonable and the work done by Chris' team was, as I have come to expect, superb. If the rest of the car wasn't scratched up you would never know there were repairs done. I have been in other dealerships in NY State and I not-too-subtly brag about my dealer in CT. Have I said enough!!!

    I have had a chance to have my Honda Civic EX serviced by Hoffman Honda for a number of years. While at times the services recommended can be costly and in my mind are not always needed, I have found most of the Hoffman service advisors to be particularly knowledgeable and understanding of my vehicle situation. The car technicians are excellent as well. In particular, Rocky S. has always provided outstanding service and I have appreciated working with him on various car issues over the years. Not only will Rocky diagnosis your problem, he will show you the problem in more detail. While other local garages are much less expensive, it is the quality of service that keeps me coming back to Hoffman.

    The young man who greeted me as I drove in was exceptionally polite, pleasant, and courteous! Janetta Marrero, my service advisor, was extremely efficient and a pleasure to work with, and Eric Dalka, my service technician, ALWAYS does a superb job! These people care!

    I made an appointment for 9:30am. After waiting in a line of 8 people, I finally met with someone at 10:15 - 45 minutes of standing in line. The woman was very rude and abrasive. When I asked about the shuttle I had confirmed with Hoffman Honda a few days earlier, she rudely told me that there are so shuttles on Saturday. I told her that I confirmed one just the day before and she rudely told me I must have been mistaken. Then she basically told me I was nuts to have purchased the extended warranty Hoffman sales people pressured me into getting (which I was nuts for getting). They did fix the problem but the hassle to get it taken care of was too much. Plus, it turned out much more expensive than they originally quoted for me, and they added several extra fees they forgot to tell me about. I would not recommend this service center to anyone.
    • I too have been a victim of their cranky service. Not at all customer friendly. Good luck if you have a problem with them.
