by Agill on 04/27/2018Ted was my sales guy, very likable, that’s as far as that goes. Part of this is my fault. First if you buy off the internet price it’s cash price, so if you finance the price is higher. Ted told me car was bought from wholesalers, it was… bought on auction. Drove down from Sarasota fl to see car, I gave $1000 deposit to hold car. Was told car was at bmw to get serviced, waiting for part from Germany. Make note, what ever you see on the site is not necessarily what you get. On site it indicates one year of Sirius, floor Matt’s, not true. Saw the car, beautiful, we got in car for test drive, with Ted. Car swerved to the right when braking, Ted, don’t understand it was all checked out. Then the low tire light comes on, Ted, will get some air in that. They put air in and I’m on my way home, low tire light come on. Run flat tires, won’t take air and it’s Sunday. Got it home and to tire shop. Had to get two new tires $950 plus they found rear bushing bad $370, they really checked the car over, what a joke. Let me say this, the price was good even with the added expense, but they are vague on their sale tactics. I probably would have bought the care anyway. I’m a salesman for over 50 years should have known better. I would never do business with these people!SCAMERS!
by Iskren on 04/14/2018updated 04/19/2018Haims Motors of Hollywood, The place where I went to buy a “clean car fax” truck and after taking it to the ram dealer next day I was pointed out that the vehicle it has been involved in some sort of a front impact.... the damage was… severe and many parts had to be replaced but it was done by some one with out the knowledge so everything it was hanging and many clips/screws/bolts where missing! Of curse I call Haims Motors right away and I expected them to take the truck back just for all the signs under the truck and all the aftermarket parts that were used to cover the collision damage, their answer was come back and we talk here,,, I could totally understand that I was going to be charged a re stocking fee for putting 200 miles on the truck and because it was out the dealer for around 22hours since I live 90 miles away from the dealer... but actually I was very far away from the real deal! In order for them to take the truck back I had to pay $1000 dollars, otherwise I would be stuck with the truck that they told me many times it was never in a car accident, Also I would like to refer to other facts like how I drove almost 100 miles to meet with a super dirty vehicle that wasn’t washed or detailed either inside or outside, the smoking smell inside the truck was stronger than an ashtray but Jose Cheverez the sales consultant said “is a non-smoker owner vehicle” I couldn’t find a face to look at him.... I very hope that the $1000 that they took from me help them to build a real dealer and maybe stop scamming buyers that have to work everyday to earn the money... all I can recommend to any buyer it’s to STAY AWAY from this place, go to a legit dealer or just bring a legit mechanic and don’t trust this people at all, And if u find your self in this situation already go see Jeff One of the Managers, Jeff will take your thousand dollars with no problem, he would care less if u have a 3-4 years old kid to feed or some one died in your family, like the tale he told us... “This's a family owned business” is their slogan, sometimes I wonder how many families have been victims of the scams they run! Then I understand what’s the meaning of a family business! Ps. by Robert_D on 04/03/2018Brought my 2015 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 from Haims motor Hollywood in February 2018. Since I was coming from Tampa Florida, I relied on the salesman to be honest with the overall condition my the vehicle. No dents or scratches, interior… perfect, new tires, mechanically everything works great. He reassured me that everything was perfect... When I got there on Sunday late afternoon, I saw the vehicle, took it for a test drive. The navigation system wasn't working, but was told that they removed the SD card because they didn't want anyone stealing it. You would think that since I'm coming to buy the car, everything would be perfect! Looked the vehicle over as best as I could, since it was get dark outside. Asked if he could bring it into the service area, so I could look at it in the light. He said they are gone and it was locked up. So, Then I completed the paperwork and was told that they would mail me the SD card for the navigation. When I looked the car over the next morning, there was a dent on the passenger rear quarter panel, all 4 tires are different, no floor mats and roaches crawling in the car. Yes Roaches! I had to park the vehicle in the street, in fear that the roaches would get into my home. Went to Home Depot for something that can kill the roaches. They recommended a bug bomb to kill them. Well I used one can, and they were still there. 6 cans later, no luck. They have an exterminator come and spray my car twice, which finally worked. Still no SD card mailed to me yet! by Armin on 01/20/2018Be aware of the worst customer service and unfair sales tactics. We tried to purchase a vehicle from this place and had all the paper work ready with two loans approved plus car insurance purchased. After we were approved by Tom the… manager for financing he told us not to come in that evening because it would be 8pm by the time we got there. We explained we worked and would there as early as possible the following day . Afterdriving from Miami to “pick up the car” that was confirmed by text from Jude, the sales person to be ready for us, we arrived at the dealer find out the car was being sold to another customer that happened to test drive the car 30 minutes before we got there. The night manger was so rude and unprofessional that he did not allow us to speak to him for over an hour until the other person was approved. All the while the manager and the other sales person closing the deal were laughing at Jude, who happens to be a soft spoken and very courteous Haitian man, as he attempted to intercede for us. No one helped us call Tom and the receptionist even told us noon calls a manager after he leaves the dealership. We left feeling mistreated, abused and betrayed. Our children were with us and unfortunately had to see the worst treatment of one human to another. This is by far the most childish and unprofessional. Dealership in South Florida...take your money elsewhere.Highly recommended
