  • Fraudulent Dishonest Tactics, Run

    •If you want to be lied to, have every promised "Guarantee" be non-existent, be gaslit, and given the runaround, this is your lucky day. •If your elderly or disabled you get doubly blessed with having your time wasted, being strung along and assumed to be an easy mark. •If you like to be open, honest and transparent, you may want to go anywhere else but here. •When you openly and honestly state exactly what vehicle you want, the price you expect to pay because they supposedly price match any competition dealer, give explicit details and openly tell that you are disabled and with an 80+ yr old individual to explain why you cannot spend hours in a dealership. You expect to have ALL of that honored, right? To bad. Prepare to have your time wasted and leave mad. I contacted Lakeland Ford, after spending a significant amount of time researching the vehicle we wanted. I found numerous Dealerships with the exact vehicle that had competitive pricing. Lakeland Ford had the highest price of every dealer in central Florida. However, they have been our dealer and servicer since we purchased our Flex in 2013. Although admittedly, our original purchase was a headache too. I wanted to reach out to them and see if they would match those competitor prices. I was contacted by Julian via text. Of note, I specifically and repeatedly communicated that text and/or email were my preferred contact, due to disability. My first clue that this may not be a great experience is when they insisted a phone call was needed. So, we had a relay call with Frank. Ended up having to commit to an in-person visit. That brought me to Saturday's events. We went in with pre-approved financing, clear competitor pricing for them to match, Military code, etc. I basically had everything ready to walk out with the vehicle. They simply had to follow through on their price match guarantee and fulfill the terms already discussed. Needless to say, everything was a ploy to get us in the dealership. Frank passed us off to someone else, MC Cortes. The short version was he came back with a price thousands above what I was led to believe it would be. When I asked if they would match the competitor prices, he flat out said no, they don't do that. There you go folks. Blatantly violating their posted policy. In violation of Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA). More specifically Title XXXIII §501.204 and for acts against seniors and the disabled §501.2077. **edited to clarify. The vehicle price match was an EXACT vehicle match, EXACT. Exact msrp, exact model, trim, etc. Every other Ford dealer is doing 3k-4k dealer discounts because it's November. This isn't my first rodeo. The fact is their employees purposely misled, wrangled us to come in person, knowing exactly what was expected and infered would be easily achieved. All this to two vulnerable individuals is despicable. After being customers for over a decade, I'd expect an apology not digging in their heals to attempt to discredit us. Added 2 photo collages that show how all these other dealers are discounting. Not Lakeland Ford though.

    Visited Lakeland Auto Mall recently unsure of what exactly I wanted - was met by a very nice young man named Kage who took time to go over my many questions. As we talked, it became obvious I had to do much more research and wasn't going to be purchasing a car that day. Kage never pressured me, and made me feel very comfortable and reassured. When I am ready to buy, rest assured Lakeland Auto Mall and Kage will be getting my business!

    Kage was our salesperson today . My client was trading her Tucson in for something more spacious. He helped her with test driving, getting all of her numbers and facts for her new vehicle, he wasn’t pushy, he was very patient, super helpful and made the trading process soooo easy for her . On top of that he was very very sweet. He was like a true friend to her and actually cared about her wants and needs. Thank you so much cage . Now I am confident to call him when I am looking to buy my next vehicle.

    I purchased my new F150 at Lakeland Ford and following an accident, I selected their Body Shop to perform the repairs. My Service Rep was Mr. Jon Camacho and during the course of the repairs, Mr. Camacho was professional, courteous, thorough, and diligent. Mr. C took the time to guide me thru the repair process, while simultaneously dealing with the at-fault party's difficult insurance company and less than cooperative adjusters. In the end the damages were repaired. If not for the fact that the Body Shop lost my keys, my beach umbrella went missing, and in Mr. C's absence the bumper was installed askew, I would rate the experience 5 STARS. Mr. Camacho is excellent at what he does.

    Wasn’t too bad purchasing. Normal dealer stuff. I just took a star off for each hundred I’m having to spend two weeks after buying a truck there. Make sure you don’t buy any vehicle without two keys. Trucks key accidentally got set to mykey. Only way to reset it is with another key, but my truck only came with one key. Dealership said only way to get a second key for the truck I just paid a bunch of money for is if it was out of pocket. So like I said, just make sure you don’t accept any vehicle without a second key. Only got put into mykey because we were figuring out how to reset the radio. It kept freezing but I didn’t want to bug them until I tried to fix it, guess it never pays to try and go about things that way lol. Talked to multiple people at the dealership to try and get some help. Was told the only way they would give me a key was if I paid for it and it would cost around $375 (before tax) for a new key. 1 time customer I guess lol

    The truck was ready ahead of time, waiting for us at the front of the dealers parking lot. From the moment we got there, Manny Goveo provided us with great care. He answered all our questions and stayed with us for the entire process. Great dealership overall! Would recommend to anyone.
