Terrible experience
by sheilapembroke on 09/14/2015Save yourself! Go to another dealer. These people promise they would pay the last 2 payments on my VW lease and they didn't. I called the sales guy, Edgar Ysalguez, who didn't take any responsibility and referred me to the finance manager,… who was borderline rude and definitely didn't get involved. After several phone calls and visits, the sales manager took the case and got me a check for the last payments of my VW. Now there is also an issue regarding the maintenance plan and what the sales manager offered and what they are delivering. I never had such a horrible experience purchasing something. I would never buy anything from this dealer again.Sheila, I am sorry to hear about your experience. The behavior you described does not align with our team's values, and I would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to learn more about your experience and address this situation as soon as possible. I would like to do whatever possible to help regain your trust in our dealership, please contact me at your earliest convenience. Larry Jackson - General Manager - ljackson@palmetto57.com

Find another Nissan dealership
by geo40 on 03/11/2015Very disappointing sales experience. The sales person never negotiated the price with me. Just took me to the financial manager after a two hour wait in the show room. The financial manager never discussed the terms of the financing with… me. Just pulled the paperwork for me to sign. I had an approval from a bank. He got the financing thru Nissan with a higher interest rate. Tried to upsell with different extended services plans and misinformed me about the warranty. The car that I bought has a 5 year, 60K miles bumper to bumper warranty. He told me its 3 years, 36K miles. Forced me to buy the Gap insurance. Worst new car buying experience ever.I am concerned about your undesirable sales experience with our dealership. We want to make our guests feel at ease during the entire process, and I am sorry that this was not achieved with you. That is not how we intend to do business. Its important to us that we satisfy every customer and you actually really help us by bringing these inconsistencies to our attention. I am concerned about this issue and would like the opportunity to address it. I would like the opportunity to discuss the situation with you further and make things right. Please contact me directly so that we may begin to build a trustworthy business relationship. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Larry Jackson - General Manager - ljackson@palmetto57.com
Horrible service. Bad car
by mery1 on 12/20/2014First of All the only reason I'm leaving 1 star is because I couldn't leave a review with out giving a star. WARNING Stay Away from this facility..... They are nice to you just to sell but after that good luck. FALSE Advertisement about… Customer Satisfaction and Money Back Warranty. I bought a 2014 Altima and a couple of months later it has been Hell with this car. Car has so many issues, I have been to the dealer 7 times and every time there's new issues with the car. Overall I'm exhausted with the back and forth and The problems with car are still happening. Extremely disappointed with the way that This Dealer and Nissan handle things.Great experience overall
by adrianlegal on 10/10/2014I had a great experiance and I got the deal I wanted with no hassle. Sean Bermudez was a pleasure to deal with. Moreover, they were able to give me the lease that I wanted and even threw in some extras such as free tinted windows and gas.… Amazing experience overallGood experience
by NissanRigue on 08/19/2014Staff is very friendly and helpful. They got a great team of people that are willing to give you the best price. I recommend Sergio M as Sales person.Unprofessional is an under statement for this dealership
by kaylene01 on 12/14/2009I've had a nissan for four years and have had about six cars my entire life not to mention gone to dealerships with other family members because they where buying a car. Never have I dealt with a dealership as unprofessional as this one.… Not only did they have me wait almost 3 hours to give me a direct answer (which honestly I should have just left at that point, but I already had invested the first hour, so I didn't think it made sense to leave at that point. Soon I would find out the enormous mistake I would be making.) Not only did they make an oral agreement with me that was a complete lie, but now I'm stuck paying the balance that they don't want to take responsibility for. Like the last review, my salesperson also mentioned the issue of feeding his children, as if that's a line a professional sales person would use to make a sale. Maybe it's the fact that most of the salespeople that work there happen to be the general managers friend's, who also happen to be [violative content deleted]. I can only assume that that's where their couldn't care less attitudes come from. They must be doing so well during this recession that my business isn't needed there. Then once we finally come to an agreement, again, an oral contract, once I've had the car for about a month all of a sudden I owe money. The salesperson had done the figures incorrectly and failed to mention that to me when we had made the deal, and now I have the company I am financing the car thru calling me telling me I owe them money that I never agreed upon. Now, so conviently, the dealership isn't responsible anymore and it's my credit that's on the line so I'm forced to pay something I did not agree to. To add insult to injury, the A/C never blew cold like it should have and instead of me taking it in right away, I let it get to the point that it just started blowing like a fan and I was forced to bring it in. Unfortunately, I work about 60 hours a week and then go to school for 12 hours a week so bringing in this new car for the A/C had been a slight problem for me. Being as how it's not even 2 months old I didn't know why I already had an issue with the car. The point of getting a new car is so it would be quite some time before I have any problems because I honestly don't have time to bring my car in and possibly be without a car while they fix the problem. I have a sentra which is why I wasn't sure if they would provide me with a rental or not. When I finally do have a chance to bring the car in, they end up telling me that this car that isn't even 2 months old and has never been in an accident, has a problem with the A/C that is not covered by warranty and now they're charging me a thousand dollars to fix. I thought that was a joke. A brand new car that now I'm going to have to pay $1000 dollars for on top of what I've already paid, and to top it off the company I'm financing the car thru is asking for money that I never agreed on because my salesperson made a deal with me that he did not follow thru with and failed to mention his mistake. And to add insult to injury, everyone I speak with tells me that I need to be nicer when I speak to them because otherwise they won't help me. Are you kidding me? How nice would they be after buying a car, being lied to and given a deal that they did not keep and owing money when that was never the deal that was made, pay again now for the A/C not working, and the car is barely 2 months old! Are you kidding me? The fact that I'm a customer who is spending thousands of dollars at their dealership seems to be competely irrelevant. They have this arrogant, I don't care attitude when they're the ones messing up! Like you just need to deal with it. I have been dealing with this nightmare for almost 3 months now. Never again will I be doing business with this dealership. Actually, with Nissan period.hankfully I didn't make the mistake and buy from Esserman. I did, however, give them $500 for a deposit on a car I never saw and was promised that deposit back, but have been waiting 8 days. I may never see that money again. After spending 6 hours at the dealership negotiating for the purchase of a new 2010 Murano, they insisted that I give them a deposit of $500 to bring the car I wanted to Miami. It was late so I told them I'm tired and will come back tomorrow. The salesman kept pressing me to give them the $500 deposit to bring "my" car to Miami. I told him I would come back tomorrow after I was rested and the finance people were in the dealership. So, I made the mistake of giving them the deposit. The salesman, Agustin Davis, didn't have any numbers on paper. He kept insisting that "it was deal you discussed with the finance guy." I said, I don't mean to insinuate that you're not honest, but I've got to have the numbers on paper before I give you any money. It took him an hour to get the purchase agreement and when I got home and looked at it, they increased the purchase price $800 above what we had discussed. I sent Mr. Davis an email that night and told him that's not the price we agreed on. He never responded. I drove 20 miles to the dealership the next day. The sales manager said he can't do the price we had originally agreed on and said "give him back his deposit." I was told that day that the person who does the refunds is not in today. They took that $500 from my checking account. That was a week ago. I haven't received anything yet. I repeatedly called the salesman and he told me, "it's being processed." I drove the 20 miles back to the dealership today. My refund has never been put through. I was told today that the person who does that went home at 2:30pm. On a week day! To top it off the salesman, Augustin Davis got into a shouting match with me saying he "wasted 6 hours of his time on me." What? That's his job! So I suspect they deliberately are not giving me back my deposit. What a bunch of liars. If he was a professional, he would have gotten my deposit back for me and tried to sell me another car. Thankfully I bought my new car, a beautiful Nissan Murano with leather interior, sunroof, and premium sound system from MAROONE NISSAN in Miami. What a different experience. They immediately gave me dealer invoice price and $500 MORE on my trade-in.
GREAT SERVICE EXPERIENCE
by mcampa on 06/15/2009This dealer and it's team went above and beyond when I called in for a service quote. They were by far the best price in town and Mr. Alvarez who I initially spoke to was friendly & personable. It made me want to go in. Once there, I… experienced minimal wait time when dropping off my car. Mr. Picado mentioned to me that there were recalls on my Sentra and asked if I wanted to check for them. This was the first I had heard of this. I had taken my car in for service 3 separate times and they never mentioned it. GREAT JOB ESSERMAN NISSAN!!!Esserman Nissan Is very unprofessional
by bajapanty350z on 09/10/2008I leased a 350z in 2005 and this is one of the dealers I visited (I did not lease it from Esserman). It was not a pleasant experience since they didnt want to talk straight with me and kept going around in circles. I know how a lease works… very well, therefore I know what the numbers mean and I know when they are giving me a good deal. They didnt like that ofcourse and so I never did the deal with them. That was a bad experience, but When shopping for my new lease about a month ago the experience was horrible. I basically went in there with a quote from another dealer and I wanted to know if they could beat it. The salesman kept trying to get me to tell him that if He beat the price I Would take it that night, I told him several times that I couldnt say I would take it for sure because I had to give it some thought, I just wanted to know if they could beat it. Truth be told, if they would have beat the quote from the other dealer I would have more than likely leased the car the next day, it was just late and I didnt want to start all the paper work. Well, I never got a straight answer, at one point I told the salesman I couldnt tell him I would take the car because I had to speak to my wife, as a way to get him to stop asking, well he found that funny and laughed mockingly at what I had said which was very rude, he even had the general manager on the phone at one point going back and forth between me and him and basically laughing at what I had told him about my wife. Throughtout the conversation this person, for lack of a better word, kept telling me he knew I wanted a deal but that he had to feed his kids? It got to the point that I asked him if they found me talking to my wife to make a decision funny and if they were having a blast, I also told him I didnt care about his kids and if he fed them or not, that wasnt my problem just like me talking to my wife wasnt his. After this, he brought the sales manager, which was some young and dumb kid in his 20s ( I am also in my 20s but this kid guy thought he was a sales star) who kept asking me the same things the salesman asked. He wanted to know why I couldnt take the car if I got a better deal if they gave it to me. I kept saying that was irrelevant and asked if they sold cars based on their customer's taking the car that same day otherwise they wouldnt get a quote? He said no, but he wouldnt give me a price. Finally I Couldnt take it anymore and told him they had wasted an hour of my time with all that stupidity that they lost a potential customer because I was leasing another nissan regardless just that now they were obviously not an option. I got my papers with all the numbers I had and started walking out, this [violative content deleted] sales manager kept asking the same thing as I was leaving and he said I am just trying to under what the real reason is why you cant tell me if I beat the price that you will take it. At this point I told him that he wasnt a [violative content deleted] psychologist that he was a salesman and a bad one at that and he didnt need to know the reason for anything just answer a simple question and he was not able to do that. I left and I havent been back after that, and I wont. Five days later, the salesman called me back with a long ridiculous message apologizing telling me to go back. Truth be told, I returned my lease and didnt buy or lease anything else from them, but my girlfriend did lease a Sentra which we got from a different dealer. Well, thats my story, sorry its long, but that place is just horrible, they love going in circles and when they see an educated customer, they treat you disrespectfully.Don't let them do it to you too
by nonissan on 02/25/2008On february 2008 I went to this dealer with my fantasy of buying my dream car, and of course because the place is very well knows as the brand I trusted them 100%. WELL THAT WAS ABIG MISTAKE. They chacked my credit, the confirmed that it… wasn't the best, but anyway the approved me because, and let me take the car, after of course giving the a couple of thousands. Now a week later I got a call from the saying that if I want to keep the car, I am supossed to get a co-signer or I have to return the car. I know that this kind of prctice has been very commonly used in dealers that need to lie to survive, or they have nothing else to lose, but I never expected something like this from this dealer. I had the experience of buying cars in the [ast with several manufactures like toyota, even Infiniti, and they enver did something like this, and you know what is the worst once you sign there is not many things you can do. That's why I give you this free advice, there is many choices aroung town to be used a a little puppet by companies that only care about taking your money and nothing else, I hope one day the goverment would do with them, the same thing they are doing with the companies that sold homes to everyone even those that could not afford it. Thanks for reading this, and I hope it would prevent you from them.Avoid at all costs
by mca22 on 11/28/2007My girlfriend recently purchased a new Altima at Esserman. There were some cosmetic and electrical issues that needed to be addressed prior to my acceptance of the car. The car was left at Esserman for a week and none of the items were… addressed. After driving back to the dealership, my girlfriend was told to leave the car again and they would fix the problems originally noted and some new ones that appeared after a couple of days of driving. After 30 days, thats right 30 days, we were told the car was ready. After picking it up, one of the issues was still not corrected. Further, work that we were told was done to my car was, in fact, never done. To add insult to injury my girlfriend is forced to call there at least 10 times a day as not one employee will return a phone call. Based on this experience, which is still a work in progress, I would strongly recommend avoiding Esserman Nissan.
Ivon, we're thrilled Alberto could assist you effectively! Thank you for choosing Palmetto57 Nissan.
