  • The grossest repair of the year...

    Our Chrysler Town & Country had a horrible smell the day after we turned the car on and heard a squealing sound and scratching. We had identified that the smell was coming out of the A/C vent. We suspected that it was a rodent. We did not buy our car in this area, but it was still under warranty. I called two other dealerships who wanted nothing to do with the problem, but Jay answered at Ed Voyles and said to bring it in ASAP. Jay called us as promised the next day, and informed us that the technician, I believe his name was Chuck, had been working on it for 2 hours and was having a very difficult time removing the decomposed rodent and maggots in the a.c. housing, he wanted to ensure that I was ok with them going over the original estimate. He kept me posted throughout the day, and the car was ready a day earlier than promised and smells great. We love our Town & Country. While I would prefer that this be covered by the warranty since the car was designed in a way that a rodent could get in to that area to be killed, I do not blame the dealership for the car design of the lack of this problem not being covered by warranty. To the contrary, the dealership, and the technician specifically, went way above and beyond to remove the rodent and ensure our car was clean and safe for us, our toddlers, and our 9 year old. They were very concerned about ensuring that it was completely removed and the part was thoroughly cleaned for our health safety. It's not something I could have done, I hope to never experience it again, but I am very happy with the service received from Ed Voyles for this repair.

    Travelling from St. Louis to Florida! had a problem with vehicle, called Dealer they were able to squeeze me in and repair my vehicle same day! I was turned down by Palmer Chrysler Dealership! Thoroughly pleased with work and time job was completed. Special shout out to Jeff Kurtz service advisor, was courteous and professional! Super pleased with results from Ed Voyles Dealership!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • A boring chore made easy

    No one likes going to the dentist or the car dealership to get things done. Wait, wait, wait...how much longer is it going to be ?? etc. etc. I was PLEASANTLY surprised not to find any of the above. I was greeted promptly upon arrival, the service tech was pleasant, professional and seemed to be genuinely concerned about my visit. The service tech, Brett, answered all my questions and kept me informed on the time. I know the top score is a "10" but if I could I would give the dealership and the service tech a "20". Great job.....keep it up.

    My service was performed exactly as stated. The Service Advisor was very knowledgable and thoroughly briefed me on the scope of service (recalls). The service manager gave me a very good review of features on my Uconnect system and assisted me in customizing my settings. I am very happy with my service experience.

    I have been a customer of this dealership for approximately 6 years! I have had the same service advisor for the past almost 3 years and he is a gem! Always professional, always great advice, Always goes above and beyond. I am not his family but the way he treats me gives me a feeling as though I am. It doesn't matter how many times I call or email him he always responds within a decent time frame. I feel that he is a very honest person and that I can trust him with my service needs for my car.

    The transmission fill tube broke off my 2011 jeep compass. The part was under warranty. I called the service department and they set me up with an appointment right away. There was no haggling about whether or not the part was cover under my warranty. It was fixed by the end of the day. I was also told about other service that my vehicle was do for. I had the oil changed. Came into pick up my car and my car was ready and brought to the door. Great service all around. From the secretary, to my point of contact for the service to the cashier.

    The only problem was not all the work could be completed because we would need to leave the vehicle. We live in Cartersville and don't have a way to do that. This should have been told to us when we made the appoint. We do understand that it was very busy that day, but we made the appointment about 2 1/2 wks prior. I'm sure there will be a way to work it out at a later date.

  • Switch and Bait

    Dealer gave me a quote and then financed with Chrysler Capital and lowered my discount and added the rebate in for his own profit. I thought rebates go to customers. I bought from out of state and had to drive a long way to get the car. Dealership refused to tell me whether or not discount included rebate, charged me a electronic filing fees for which in my state does not exist. Untruthful, last minute changes to contract. So it was turn around and drive back empty handed (met half way in a restaurant with no way to sort out contract issues) or walk away. I signed begrudgingly and when asked for refund was told basically "you singed it your screwed". I would go far and wide to avoid these guys. I was told that this used to be a family owned business but now is under corporate control. Don't really care about the customer at all, just how much they can fleece them for.

    The service department is incompetent at Ed Voyles. I took my car in because I was referred by Good Year, my air conditioning wasn't working. Good Year told me it was the door that controlled the flow of air for the air conditioner. THey felt that their labor would cost too much. I went to Ed Voyles and told John my issue. I also noted to him that on my way there, the temp. gauge was running hot when the car was idled. The air conditioning was the main issue. Had to leave the car over night, upon picking it up, one of the workers brought the car out to me and told me my window wouldn't go up. I said the window was fine when I brought it in. 2 days after the repair, which I failed to mention, cost me $1140!!!!! Keep in mind I paid $59 to have an extra key made. I was told they replaced the fans. So, 2 days later, the air isn't working again, doing the same thing, running cold for about 30 seconds, then you could hear something shut, (the valve door) and it would blow hot air. I called John and told him, he told me to bring the car back in. I had to take time off of work and go down and wait for them to look at it yet again. I never mentioned the window, as I was disgusted that I paid all that money to them and still had the same issue I brought the car in for the first time. I was then told that I needed a radiator which would cost me $900!!!!! Are you kidding me? What happened to the air conditioner. The temperature gauge was fine, the car isn't over heating......!!!!!! I left and went to my bank to reverse the charges. They came back to me telling me that since I signed off on the car when I picked it up, they couldn't return my money. Well, you can't get your car until you sign the paper. You don't know how your car is once the paper has been signed and you have left the premises, to discover that your car is still not fixed, ARE YOU KIDDING ME> I took the car to another private mechanic who had to fix the window, for $100 and looked at the air conditioning, he too told me it was an air flow problem. I am currently waiting almost a week now on a call from Scott Copeland, who I told my saga to and asked for half my money back, which I think is more than fair. The initial call to him was on Tuesday afternoon, he told me he wouldn't get back to me til Wednesday afternoon. No call, so I called him on Thursday afternoon and got his voice mail, he called me on Friday around noon telling me to call him back, called back Friday afternoon and got his voice mail again. Still no answer, so I have sent an email to him stating that I want an answer by Monday afternoon and if it is not in my favor I want the dealerships manager and the area managers names and numbers.
