If you love your family look and go elsewhere
by atl_mom on 11/17/2009We bought a SRX from Capital-although our sales guy was really nice, he sold us a lemon. We have put less than 25k on the vehicle- yet have had go bad: 3 batteries (we are now on the 4th - yes thats a new one every 4 thousand miles), a… timing chain (forget replacing it at 70k or 90k try around 15k), side mirror, vanity mirror and more. Every time we get the run around about it not being a safety issue. you tell me how being stuck in 100 degree weather with an infant is not a safety issue. So like I said, if you love your spouse, parents, children, and friends- choose a dealer who is willing to find out what is causing an issue instead of just slapping in a new battery and sending us out again. This car only gets driven enough to keep it lubricated- because we refuse to trust our child's safety to the faulty judgment of the lovely folks who keep returning this time bomb into our hands.Top Notch Sales Experience
by bnero on 06/25/2009I recently bought a new 09 Escalade and have to say that "GO" Gumala Ogbamichael is the most pleasant and trustworthy professional I had a pleasure of dealing with in a long time. I definitely shopped around in this age of the internet and… changes of GM bankruptcy reorganization, checking prices for the same car in two other states as well as here in the metro Atlanta area. His price was in line with his competition but his professionalism was worth the difference! He works for the sale without being too pushy or offensive. He is also not your typical "fast talking salesman" that one frequently finds out there. I made many other phone calls or emails to other dealers which may have received a response, (one dealer didn't even bother to respond) with a price or even an acknowledgement. And, I knew exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend not only Capital Cadillac & Hummer in Smyrna but also Mr. Ogbamichael.Great Experience

I have been a Cadlillac Owner for several years and George made this experience easy and… smooth. We were able to lease a 2013 Escalade Suv with all of the options requested. George handled everything for us. He has the patience of a saint in my opinion because there was no high sales pitch or pressure to purchase. He took the time to tell us about the company and introduced us to all of the CEO and wonderful people that work there. The company is Family oriented and run by good reputable people. We felt real comfortable at Capital Cadillac and will recommend them to my family and friends. George went over the entire operations of the all features of the vehicle , plus all contractual obligations was explained which made the purchase smooth.George also followed up with us to make sure everything was satisfactory which I appreciated. I can go on and on but I think you can see I am a satisfied customer. Moved back and couldn't believe the difference. 6 Hours to replaced 4 tires and that was supposed to include a realignment which they didn't have the time for. No Road… Hazard warranty on these over priced tires. One value stem missing from my new tires. Avoid these guys....drive to the moon if you have too.Online escalade esv purchase

Please train CS to service advisor
by tydisxlr on 03/12/2013updated 04/26/2025Capitol Cadillac used to be my favorite dealership that services my 2003 Cadillac CTS and 2006 Cadillac XLR when Douglas was my service advisor. Now that Justin is my new service advisor I will never return there EVER. When I bought my… Cadillac XLR for a few issues I was informed that Doug moved to management and that Justin had replaced him. I than stated that I need a few things done to the: Check noise from front passenger tire Let me know if my brakes need changing Oil change Coolant light was on Fix mirror So after they had my car for 2 days, they fix the check coolant light, couldn't tell me what the noise in my front tires (but charge me anyway), check brakes, replaced the mirror and did the oil. So after spending $2,000 at Capitol Cadillac I expected an car wash (like I use to get with Doug) but the car was dirtier than I first drop it off. The very next day coolant was all over my drive way. When I bought the car back to Capitol Cadillac, the first thing Justin said was you here to get the grill. I told him "no" but for you fix whatever problem you cause. So he tries to put it on me and said that coolant regulator is broken. I asked Justin, how the hell that happened when you had the car for two days, look over the coolant system entirely and told me that no other work is recommended. He than took my car for additional two days and when I return to pick up my car he wouldnt even speak or shake my hand he just handed me another bill. Also return my XLR is piss poor condition. After I voice my concern he told me if I don't need anymore service I can leave. After I left I took my business with me, Heritage Cadillac found the noise in tire when I was there purchasing my White CTS Coupe V. I live 2 miles from Capitol but will drive 30 to go to Heritage Cadillac. Thanks for referring to a real Cadillac dealership.I am incredibly sorry that you felt you had such a negative experience with Capital Cadillac.
