  • My BMW

5 out of 5 starsby ShaikhAhmed on 08/29/2017

The entire team is so sincere in dealing professionally that impressed me. I arrived at the sales office almost before closing time but I found everybody who were present stayed until the sale was completed and that was wonderful.

  • Bait & Switch - Buyer Beware

1 out of 5 starsby ToddATL on 06/11/2016

If you want to know why people hate car dealers, look no further than this place. They have all the stereotypes: bait & switch tactics, dishonest salespeople, arrogant general manager, etc. I test drove a certified vehicle on Wednesday, but it was a little over my budget and I had other cars to choose from in my price range. The salesman (Vince George), however, continued to push me to come back to the dealer and see the car again and agreed to meet my budget price. He confirmed the purchase price by email on Friday night and said the car would be ready for purchase and pick-up on Saturday morning. Since this dealer is an hour away, I called at 9am on Saturday to ensure that everything was ready. Vince replied, "yes we're ready for you." When I arrive at the dealership an hour later... Vince's opening line is, "we have a bit of an issue... someone else bought your car this morning...but I'm sure we can find you something else you'll like." You're kidding, right? This is a joke? The dealership opened less than an hour ago...and someone came in and purchased it in the last few minutes and is now gone. You emailed me a confirmation after-hours last night and just told me an hour ago the car was detailed and ready to drive away. Obviously, I didn't care for this conversation, so out comes Darren the sales manager and Jason the general manager. They say, "sorry, this is how things are in the used car market. We sold this car 2 days ago (Vince just told me they sold it this morning... so they can't even get their lies straight). But we've got other vehicles you should consider." I ask them, "is this seriously how you do business? Classic bait & switch?" Jason laughs and finds the situation amusing. Needless to say, the conversation went a bit south at this point. I had no interest in dealing with unethical people like this and left immediately. For those in the market... BEWARE of this dealer! Read the other reviews before you waste your time and energy making the trip down here. Stick to more reputable, authorized dealers.

  • Broken Process

1 out of 5 starsby Mwin on 10/27/2014

Dear Atlanta Reader, I would like to share my new car buying experience with you at BMW south Atlanta, During my search I notice that BMW South Atlanta had a great Customer Service review, I would said the presentation was good on my first visit which I purchase a BMW 428i, Then the problems begin, after signing all the documents for the sale of my car, I was told my Salesperson that he was going to take my new to be detail so when I finish the car would be ready, after 4 hours and the dealership was closed still waiting, But when I got home with my new car I notice that it was poorly detailed. My Salesperson promise me a coffee mug and a umbrella with the sale which was never received, I communicated via telephone to speak with the Sales Manager named Tan, and then after I posted a review on cars.com he called, Tan told me that he would have the car re-detailed and provide gas also but during this time my temp tag had expired, I explain to Tan that I feel uncomfortable driving around with an expired tag but the General Manager told me to print off a document off the internet and I would be good, anybody can print a document and edit, I was told by the General Manger that BMW South Atlanta have no control on the plate that were mail to my home and had no backup plan for customers tag that arrived late, So I have a brand new car that I couldn?t drive for three weeks pending my car tags, BMW South Atlanta has some broken process that cause customers a lot of headaches and frustions Im requesting BMW Atlanta to do what is right and take care of their customers.

  • Please Learn from My Mistake

    2.2 out of 5 starsby danno54 on 11/05/2010

Please learn from my mistake. My encounter with Adrian Avila and BMW South Atlanta (BMW SA), a Nalley Company, did not have a happy ending for me - I'm out $1308.62. Full disclosure, legally I signed a "We Owe" payoff that was not correct because I trusted Adrian to fill out the paperwork to match the deal, MY MISTAKE AND I OWN THAT and they own my $1308.62. I have no legal recourse and BMW of South Atlanta, a Nalley company, does not value my REPEAT business enough to make it right. Wisdom is learning from other mistakes, be wise and buy somewhere else other than with Adrian Avila and BMW of South Atlanta, a Nalley Company. For those interested in more detail, read on and make your own decision. My wife and I are real estate agents on the south side of Atlanta and our brand is and always has been associated with silver BMW sedans. Our first was a 2001 740i Sport (purchased new CASH), a 2008 750i (business lease from BMW SA), a 2008 328i (my personal commuter car purchased new from BMW SA), and our latest 2010 535GT (business lease for BMW SA). We were so satisfied with our 2008 purchase and lease that my wife did a TV commercial for them in May of 2008. Unfortunately in 2010, with Adrian and new management, the experience suc?ed - well, it was unfortunate. Our lease on the 2008 750i was nearing the end so we went looking at the new GT. Our CA from 2008 no longer sells autos, so we had been in touch with Adrian over the last couple of years during trips to the dealer and decided to work with him. We liked the GT and Adrian said that we could move forward with a deal, even though the lease was not up. BMW SA would just pay off the remaining lease as part of the new business lease agreement. This was Saturday, Sept 18. He pulled up our 2008 lease payoff on the BMW intranet and put together a deal on the 2010 535 GT. The lease payment (which is paid in advance, due on Sept 29) for the 2008 750i had just been mailed ($1308.62), so I made sure that Adrian knew this and he said that it would be no problem and that I would get that payment back because the deal is based on today's payoff. We agreed on a deal and the car was due in the dealership for pick up on Monday. The car was delayed and was finally delivered on Wednesday. When I picked up the car, I signed the "We Owe" sheet for the lease payoff for the remaining 5 payments - again I asked did this include me getting back the lease payment that was in transit. Adrian said that yes it includes you getting that payment back. FOOLISHLY I SIGNED WITHOUT DOING MY OWN RESEARCH AND USING MY OWN CALCULATOR, MY MISTAKE. I set up my online account with BMW Financial Services a couple of days later and found that the payment in transit had posted that Wednesday, the day I picked up the 535 GT and the payoff amount was based on ME paying that payment on the 2008 750i. The management position (Sales Manager Jason Young and "Mr." Nalley) of BMW of South Atlanta, a Nalley Company, is that I AGREED to the payoff based on the "We Owe" paperwork and Adrian, nor BMW SA, owed me anything, period. YOU BE THE JUDGE and make your buying decisions based on your own convictions - based on Adrian and BMW SA logic, I paid a $1308.62 lease payment on the BMW 750i a week before it was due, paid it in advance for the month of October to let a 750i sit on the BMW SA lot for 5 weeks AND paid the $1000+ lease payment on the 535 GT for October when the lease was signed because I just liked Adrian and BMW SA that much?? If this makes any business sense to you, then please buy from Adrian and BMW of South Atlanta, a Nalley company. PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE!!! BMW corporate, if you are listening, I think that I'll change my image to a silver MERCEDES going forward if this is your idea of loyal customer treatment. Let me know if you want my contact information.
    • Originally posted on bimmerfest.com forum: [HTML deleted] Danno54, I am sorry you feel this way. It is very unfortunate when we did the lease that it would turn out this way. I would like to apologize to you for having this negative experience in regards to the lease payment. Based on what we reviewed together when we did the lease, we believed that the payment you sent in was the 5th payment of remaining payments due on the account. The payoff I had pulled showed an aggregate payoff amount, not one that broke down remaining payments because it was more than 90 days from lease maturity. Not only did we send payments, you sent a payment to BMW Financial Services. So are they crooks for taking your money with no explanation? You did not make your check of $1,308 payable to our center. You made it payable to BMW FS. During our discussion of the lease, you had mentioned that you had sent in a payment. I told that wouldn't be a problem and that you could either put a stop payment on that check or let BMW FS credit you that payment on your next account since we were making your remaining five payments on your lease which is normal practice when we try to terminate a lease account early. Apparently, we did not factor the 6th payment due in September. We estimated that this was the fifth payment. It was not a deliberate or malicious action of trying to take money from you or steal from you or lie to you about it. You did indeed sign the we owe form stating that we would be making your final five remaining payments and that we would not be responsible for any other fees. It appeared to be an understanding between both of us that five payments remained. Otherwise, you would not have signed or agreed to this. Moreover, we would not have been able to make the deal if there was a 6th payment since we were already at a net loss for this sale and this would have made for an even greater loss. As for the 2008 750i sitting in the back lot- we waited for funding and for the remaining payments to be posted in order for the account to be closed. This can take time. We cannot treat the car as a lease turn in until BMW converts the account to a lease end. Then, we have up to seven days to make a decision on purchasing the vehicle from BMW FS. It is regretful and painful to have an unhappy client out any dollar amount. I am truly saddened by this. If there is a lesson to be learned and humbled by this. It is imperative that both parties are clear on how many lease payments remain on a terminating lease before concluding a deal. The fact of the matter is that BMW Financial Services is neutral and a contractual lease agreement has to be fulfilled. And we fulfilled our agreement of making the five payments. So is it safe to say if the amount forwarded to BMW FS on customer's behalf was too much, then they would've sent the money back to the client? Yes.

  • Stolen Warranties

I ordered a 2008 X5 in Nov 07 and in Jan of 2009 the differential went bad and I was told they were unable to repair the vehicle. I then purchased a 2009 328i coupe and was told by the Finance Manager stated, agreed and signed the Extended Maintenance Warranty and the Tire Warranty. In March 2011, the regular standard warranty ran out and the dealership refuses to honor the executed agreements that we signed. Their response to my complaint is that they "gave me a new vehicle" so they don't owe me anything. This is literally the worst service that I have ever experienced. A lot of money has been paid for both vehicle so it is sad to see that a reputable dealership would do behave so horribly.
  • Pleasant BMW Sales Experience

Our sales professional is Doug B. He blended our needs as a family with the needs/ requests of the primary drivers with ease. The purchase of our 2013 X3 was enjoyable. His communication was spot on, and always asked if he could go "the extra mile" to benefit us. Doug made arranging the delivery experience in Spartanburg, SC seamless and memorable. This is the optimal way to purchase a new vehicle from BMW. The factory delivery experience is HIGHLY recommended! Overall, we had a quality purchase experience and would recommend this to others.
