He was even willing to service me after the sale when the additional accessories… came in. I would definitely recommend Christopher Ige to anyone interested purchasing in a Honda.made life easy

by digilight6002 on 05/28/2016I went there to purchase a Honda Civic. As I walked thru the lot I saw a few sales people talking to each other since there was no other customers there. No one even asked if I needed help. I then asked a salesperson there if they had any… brochures on the Honda civic line for 2016. He said sorry we don't have any brochures. I then asked if they had a model I was interested in and he said no and he wasn't sure when it would arrive. I was really disappointed in their level of service being I live d here all my life. I decided to leave and shop somewhere else unfortunately they are the only ones on this Island. I went home and searched for dealers on Oahu. I soon was greeted online and asked if I needed any help. I was very happy to see a salesperson who actually wanted my business. He asked a few questions and answered all of mine. He prequalified me on the phone and assured me it will be a quick transaction. In a few days everything was completed and my car was shipped here. Its sad I couldn't keep my business locally here on Maui. I do not ever plan on returning to this dealership or recommending them as I have in the past. I'm about to purchase another Honda from them. It was the best decision I ever made. They call me back promptly whenever I ask a question. As a salesperson myself it was a most disappointing experience. I'm going to Oahu soon to check out the New Honda I'm going to purchase. Please shop around and make sure you get sales people who are willing to help you. Hope this helps you in your decision to purchase a new car in the future.NEVER BUY FROM HERE!
by scf4 on 05/21/2015My first time with Honda, NEVER BUY FROM HERE! I visited a total of 3 times in the past 3days. My first visit I believed to be my worst, but actually should have been my saving grace. We were approached by Kyle. All he did was open… the doors of a Honda Civic EX. We had to ask him to explain features, he did not offer a test drive. We then went with him after we asked him about finding out figures. As we got to the office, Kyle turns around and says he wants to know if we will buy the car today so he knows if it is worth his time looking at prices! Absolutely disgusting customer service, needless to say we walked away. Yesterday we visited again as were told the leases were good and should give it another try. We were dealt with by Daryl. Perfectly nice sales assistant, not pushy and willing to talk numbers and features etc. We knew we wanted the Honda Civic EX Coupe (automatic transmission). We agree on a price and down payment for a lease, verbally and signed. Agree to pick it up today. Today, we go to the showroom, expecting to pick up the car no problem as paperwork all signed and agreed upon. The car was a manual transmission. Obviously not what we asked for or agreed upon. Daryl understands and shows us a couple of other models within Honda, but if I am spending that amount of money, I want what I asked for. He keeps trying to push a 4-door Civic on us. We ask if they can special order. His reply '60-90 days'. We walk away empty handed. Out of curiosity I check online what they have in stock. THERE WAS ONE IN STOCK! I go back to the dealer (again, my mistake, I shouldn't have bothered). He shows me on the screen, and assures me that its in transit and will still take another 2months to get to the island, which is no use. So I agree to lease the LX rather than the EX. A basic version with no whistles. After a lot of going back and forth, we again verbally agree on a price and I sign. I had to check my diary about meetings tomorrow to know when to pick up the car. So I walk away AGAIN believing I will be picking up a new car tomorrow. I ring Daryl back with a time that suits me. It is here that I lost my patience. He tells me the managers won't agree to sign off on the lease that we had already agreed upon. I am handed to a manager who basically tells me they are refunding my down payment and canceling a contract. This is UNACCEPTABLE customer service. May also be illegal! DO NOT BUY/LEASE FROM HERE! They are complete cowboys. They have now 'screwed' me over twice. I will say that Daryl was perfectly nice the whole time, and made it sound like it was his managers fault BUT we all know salespeople lie. AGAIN, DO NOT GO HERE!
