Kent was outstanding in guiding us through the recent lease of a new Civic. Justin went through the financing in a straightforward manner and the entire process was pretty seamless.
    • That's great to hear about Kent and congratulations on your purchase of the new Civic. We will pass along this review to him.

  • Great experience and happy soon to be wife.

5 out of 5 starsby Pellapat on 09/02/2014

Actually was already to purchase at another dealer. Dave did a nice job and gave us 1500 more on trade and made the experience good. Chad the general manager took the time to say hello and I appreciated that. The finance guy was low key and got me out in flash. I would recommend you look this dealership up if your in the market for a good price and professional, quick service.
    • That's great to hear that you chose us and congratulations on your purchase! We will let Dave and Chad know that you left this review.

  • Best place to buy a car

    5 out of 5 starsby Jkessler123 on 08/02/2014

Jeff at Larry Miller Honda have me and my wife the best car buying experience we ever had. We had bad credit and felt like we had no options. Jeff took our info and worked ever way possible to get us into the newer gas saving car we needed. He not only got us approved he kept our payments low. Larry Miller Honda should be everyone's first stop when buying new or used. Also Larry the parts manager really knows his stuff and can give great advice for your purchase or future purchases. Thanks LmH for helping us get our awesome new car!!!
    • Congratulations on your purchase and thank you for making us your choice when buying a vehicle. Let us know if there's anything else we can do for you and we'll pass along your compliments to Jeff.

  • The last Car I buy from Larry Miller.

2 out of 5 starsby gregvandal on 08/17/2010

I had bought a new 06 Honda Element @ Larry Miller the year before and it was smooth and everything it should be. It wasn't until in 07 when I traded in and bought a new Civic did I have a problem. I was not upside down, or in a hurry, or have any problem with the price I paid. It was the lack of a knowledgable sales team who didn't listen to a thing I said! The sales person was the most pushy, errogant, and unknowledgable sales person I have ever met. He tried to push me into a lease allowing I beleive 12k a year for milage, when the car I was trading in was 11 months old and had 18k miles on it. I had to repeatedly tell him I was not interested in a lease. After a very lengthy process of multiple days to be provided with simple answers and required info for trade in I gave up and walked away! The sales manager called the next day and talked me into returning only after assuring me that the horrible sales person, who shall remain nameless and has worked there for 5 years, would receive no comission and be educated on proper customer relations and sales policies. What a long and horrible buying process from start to finish. I came preapproved from my bank for $30k. They relentlessly tried to get me to finance in their office telling me they knew they can get me a better rate and telling me it was better to finance with them. I finally gave in and said ok, just like they wanted. And only to find out I would be paying 2% higher interest with their financing company than through my own bank. Even that didn't stop them from trying to get me to finance through them! They really had no interest in my concerns or my financial well being, all they wanted was the money! They didn't have the color I wanted so I I did have to wait to receive my car, but I was ok with that.
  • No Respect for the Comsumer

My husband and I have been looking to buy a Honda CR V for quite some time (we are not in any hurry and wanted to do all the research we could to be sure of our purchase). We found out that a wharehouse chain we belonged to had an autobuying program and the only Honda dealership enrolled was Larry Miller Honda, so we decided to give it a shot (despite warnings from others). I filled out the contact information for the "purchasing program" and was contacted by a salesman from Larry Miller Honda. The salesman stated that he was not either of the salespeople listed on the autobuying program, but worked for the two "authorized" salespeople for the program. I explained that we had done all the research and wanted a "no games, no pressure" experience and that we were looking to potentially buy 3 vehicles (one to replace my husbands 1990 accord, one for our daughter, and one for myself (I wanted the CRV). I arranged for my husband and I to meet this salesperson--my husband had not yet test drove the new CRV and wanted to look at the used inventory for our daughter. At this time I once again asked for none of the traditional bantering when it came time to getting to the "bottom line". We spent a few hours looking around and were ready to see the "best price" for the CRV (remember I have already done extensive research and have a good idea of what a good deal is (I have relatives in the car business in another state). We reminded the salesman that we did not want the :-) and :-( drawn all over the "deal" paper and asked that he give us the best price he could. He came back with a rediculous price (not only for the new vehicle, but also for our trade in)--and you guessed it :-) all over the paper. Knowing this was a outrageous price, and the trade in amount was low in almost the exact amount of the special program discount, we thanked him for his time and started to leave. He asked what needed to to be done to make it a deal and we told him he had said that was the best deal they could do (and that the lack of respect for the game playing did not go over with us) so we would have to buy somewhere else. He laughed and said that he was just trying to have fun, something we had already to discussed---it was serious to us, we were the one's ready to spend a small fortune (for us a huge fortune) for 1-3 vehicles and he patronizing let us know that he was a person with little respect for the customer and true stereotypical "car salesman" (not to suggest in anyway that all car salespeople are with little to no scruples--in fact when we bought our 2002 GMC from a local used car lot we were treated very well and were happy with everything about the process, especially the 1 hour start to finish part---we just wanted a new CRV and the dealer we had gone through did not have what we wanted). The experience was so bad that I will not even look at any Larry Miller Dealership again.

After enduring a poor experience at another dealership. I shopped other dealerships in my driveable area. The Honda dealership in Boise was a pleasure to deal with. They were honest up front and the dollar amount was agreed upon in minutes. Jeff C. was polite, professional, and above all held a high integrity. He understands that in order to keep a person coming back, he establishes a great rapport in the beginning. All Hondas are the same and where I buy it is the only thing I have control over once I decided to buy the accord sport. I would definitely purchase my next vehicle from Jeff and his team at Larry Miller Honda.
    • That's great to hear and congratulations on your purchase! We will let Jeff know that you left this review.

  • They prefer to lose a client rather to a sale

I was leasing a 2014 crv with this dealership and I always feel it was a bad deal. I went the 28th of Feb, 2014 for an oil change, while waiting, I did the enormous of asking how much was a ridgeline, since that moment the most worse process of sale a car begin. After I said several times "no, I am not interested" but I could not handle the pressure at the end they said they are going to payoff my current lease to put me in the ridgeline. I signed at all the paperwork at 8:30 pm. At night, I realized in the paperwork all the fees are more than expected and for my surprise there was a lease balance from the previous car. I came in next morning 8:00 am, March 1st, 2014 and I request my old lease and try to return this bad deal they put me on. Everybody was very rude with me, they also threatening me with repo the car and harm my credit history and score. After that day, I have been sending emails and making phone calls to somebody there fix my paperwork. Finally last Friday somebody answer my phone call and explain me every fee. I explain to the person that there should not be anything from the previous lease in this new lease. But there is nothing he can do. I already singed up the paperwork and they does not want to undone the deal. Now they are offering a better finance deal because I requested a payoff lease agreement so a bank can finance the car. But I will not want to return to a place where they rip off me, they treat you in a very disrespectful way, they ignore you and they make fun of my very basic level of English. Now I am upside down like $5000 after this very bad deal. The words to apply to these people is unethical and dishonest.

We went to buy a 2013 Honda Fit. We were using the costco auto program. Everything went exactly as we expected. Were shown the dealer invoice and given the pre negotiated price. They even through in a year of service and some accessories we had wanted. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and great to work with. Overall a great buying experience.
    • Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We will be sure to pass this onto our sales staff and let us know if you ever need anything. Take care and enjoy your new Fit!

I have to say, my buying experience has been one of the most easiest I have ever experienced aside from paying cash for a new car (I have bought a new car cash before). Quintin was professional, courteous and got me through the whole process in a relatively short period of time. Great job guys!
    • Congratulations on your purchase and thank you making us your choice when buying a vehicle. Let us know if there's anything else we can do for you and we'll pass along your compliments to Quintin.
