Rami is super helpful and knows his stuff. He was upfront and honest, and took the time to explain thoroughly so I could understand what was happening with my deal. Customer service is top notch and I was taken care of from start to… finish by everyone in the dealership. Theodore was excellent at explaing the features of the trailblazer and providing more excellent customer service.

My Recent Car Buying Experience
by weber1985 on 11/07/2012updated 04/25/2025Now I know we all hate going through the car buying experience. The second you pull into the lot the salesmen are all over you like vultures. I never seen so many trying to be my new best friend. But I have to say this time was… different. My wife and I went to Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort and ended up buying a brand, spanking, new 2013 (with only 42 miles on it) Chevrolet Spark. And not the pink one that was on special, of course because my oldest son would be driving it. But the Denim Blue model and it looks really, really cool. We had an excellent salesman, Chris S. You could not ask for a nicer and more helpful individual. He was not pushy or bothersome at all like a lot of salesmen. Chris knew a ton about the Spark and the whole car buying experience. If only I had more money (it's all tied up in paying college bills), I would buy another car from Chris. My recommendation, if you are looking for a vehicle, stop in at Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort and ask for Chris S. I know you will definitely have a totally different experience than the typical car buying experience, GUARANTEED!!Thank you for the WONDERFUL review. We appreciate your family's business! Awesome experience at Philips Chevrolet

I found several vehicles that interested me on line at Philips Chevrolet and decided to make the trip from Plainfield to Philips Chevrolet.… My wife and I were introduced to Justin N. and our experience just got better and better. We decided to purchase a new 2013 Traverse and ran into a little snag with getting our GM employee authorization code. Justin did everything he possibly could to help even though the snag was 100% our problem. We were also blown away with the new vehicle inventory that was available. We are die hard Chevrolet buyers and will be making all of our future purchases from Philips Chevrolet. Great Service

We had been to many lots and dealerships and found a car that we really liked at another dealer. I told them that I had a few concerns about… the tires and brakes and wanted to take it to my mechanic before I agreed to buy. I was told that that would be fine, but if we found something "We will not do anything about it". I remembered my very positive experience I have had at Phillips Chevrolet whenever I had my truck serviced there. We went to Phillips and met Joe L. and he listened to what we were looking for and took all of the time we needed to find a car we liked. He explained everything about the car, warranty, maintenance program and even took us on a tour of the service area. I was so happy with the service that Joe provided and with the courtesy of the staff that I bought a 2009 Malibu and spent $5000 more than I originally planned. Overall I could not have asked for a better experience. I will certainly be going back for my future needs.Thank you for the wonderful review! We appreciate your kind words and your business! Phillips had the best number of available Certified Equinox vehicles available. We completed an internet inquiry and got an immediate… response by e-mail and phone from Samantha. She was very friendly and invited us to visit the dealership to see the auto we were most interested in. When we arrived, Rami met us at the door and brought Samantha by to introduce herself. She then told us we were in capable hands with Rami, and she was so right. He answered all of our questions, provided us with plenty of info about the Equinox in general as well as info about the specific one we wanted to see. He never tried to steer us away from what we came to see, and never tried to convince us to buy new. He listened to us and was not that stereotypical pushy car salesman you hear about. He let us work things out to our satisfaction and did not pressure us to make a decision, which was much appreciated. We would definitely recommend Phillips Chevrolet and would also recommend that you ask for Rami. We have purchased from Phillips many times over the years and have not been disappointed. by NicksVolt on 10/26/2013updated 04/25/2025I finalized my decision to purchase a Chevy Volt after verifying the $7500 tax credit and $4000 Illinois rebate were applicable to me. I planned on going to 3 dealerships to secure a great deal and bring home the Volt that day. I first… stopped at Phillips Chevrolet because I have heard good things about their overall buying experience. I was greeted by salesman Hani S. I told him I was there to look at a blue volt that I called the day before about to verify it was there before I came in that day. Hani looked around and 10-15 min later told me they found it but it had 2000 miles on it. I was a little upset because I verified the day before it was brand new and available. I was ready to go to dealership # 2 when Michael M., a manager came out to greet me and apologize about the situation. I was a little taken back because Michael's demeanor was very friendly. Something I wasn't used to after my last 4-5 car purchases. He immediately located another Volt on the lot with more options than the one I originally planned on looking at and said he would get me a great deal on it. He was confident that a deal would be reached that day, showing me that they were serious about earning my business. I usually trade in a car every two years and fight for every penny making the negotiating process look like a boxing match. I can honestly say this was the most pleasant car buying experience I have had in the last 5 years! Michael fought for a great rate for me as well, there was no posturing to get every last dollar. We both had a bottom line to meet, but it was a very respectful negotiating process which made the deal. I purchased 4 vehicles from Saturn of Tinley park when they were around because of the same experience. Phillips Chevrolet will continue to receive my business from now on. A+++ dealership. He is good at his job, he knows cars and knows how to get it done. I am soooooo happy with my 2013 Sonic… and I think everyone should car shop at Phillips Chevrolet. A bit later we drove out owning a new 2013 Silverado 4x4. We work… with Rami and he makes the process simple and always a gives us a great deal. (very down to earth and funny individual :-) ) and the Finance Department I left happy and overjoyed with a new 2013 Chevy… Malibu. As a single mother and a low credit score, I automatically had doubts of getting into a new vehicle. Joe and supportive staff worked diligently to get me into a new vehicle.
