Poor sales tactics
by Treasure1081 on 09/27/2015Terrible sales practice. Be prepared for bait and switch. Was promised one price on the phone and when I arrived the monthly payment was more than doubled and the money down had gone up too. They told me what I wanted to hear to get me in… their door.great experience

by himmy on 08/17/2015I was looking for a good nissan car 2012 and beyond within my budget range. I started with Fareed on the deal and he showed us what we have in the list from online and well it was over my budget but did liked the car. Then Brent came in… picture we spend some time talking to him and finally settled on it. Though the car was a bit over my budget but well it is certified and Guys did a nice job in convincing me and my wife. We ended up getting the same car in 3 days after the deal ending up with Fareed. Both Brent and Fareed are helpful and would recommend Glendale and these guys to my friends and family for future purchases as well.Glendale Nissan
by Carmella3797 on 05/26/2015After moving to PA we decided we wanted another Nissan Altima. We checked prices here locally and checked them online at Glendale Nissan and found the prices approx 2k lower than in PA. We made the drive and met with Brent Alexander who… sold us our previous car 3 yrs prior. He was very helpful and we were very happy with the car we bought. Brent went out of his way to help us. Even after we returned to PA the next day and noticed a light missing he took care of it by having the part shipped to our local Nissan dealer no charge for repair. These are the types of people you want to do business with. Decent, Honest, Fair and Caring. We will be back in a couple of years for our next NissanBest dealership in the whole country

by jamaia on 04/16/2015BBEEWWARE!!!!!!!!! ESPECIALLY MOMS WITH kids...No wonder they are given so many bad reviews.yes my review is long, because I wanted ppl to decide for themselves if they want to take a risk on doin business with this facility.it was a mistake… on my behalf for not going through the reviews before even thinking of going there.Glendale Nissan has given me by far the WORSt car buying experience ever since I moved to USA.I am a loyal customer of Toyota. Glandale Nissan made me value Toyota's dealership. With Toyota,,I walk in, they give me the best deal and tell me upfront Hw much I will pay for that particular vehicle.it always took me one hour at the maximum to get things sorted.and nw here is what Nissan dealership did to me. Im a mother of a two yr old toddler.I'm a struggling medical graduate as well.so clearly that leaves me with No free Time.I asked for a quote online for a Nissan suv I was interested in.Nissan glandale gave me a quote that was way too good to b true.I specifically pointed out to their internet sales person that I would only go to the facility if they have the color and the model in stock, she assured me that they have it.when we went there the first suv they gave Us to test drive was sold..I mean at 4:00 pm internet sales person says it's available and then by 7:00pm its sold!!! I told the dealer clearly before even stepping in their office that I am not going to pay more then $450 a month for 60 months on 0% APR. Turned out contrary to what the internet sales person said they did not have the color I wanted,so to keep the deal the sales person asked me to deposit $1000 in order to locate the white suv I wanted from another dealership.I made clear that I will not pay a penny more and he agreed.the nxt morning I get a call from sales person saying he cudnt find white one and the only one they have got is the black one.when we went in to get the paperwork done,,he changed the price!!! My monthly payment was more then $450. I left with my toddler and left my husband to figure out what are they doing to us. At 9:45 pm I walk in the facility because they were determined to sell us the car at a price way more then was discussed with us.then the manager Mario intervened ,took me to his office and shows e few figures to legitimize why the price they are asking for is good enough..bcz with my credit score I'm not even eligible for 0 Apr..and that only way out is I pay $500. And the $ 1000 I deposited to get the white car is non refundable.if I want it back I need to see the general manager .so one more day of mental harrasmnt. I don't know what kind of business would ask you to deposit money to locate your favorite car at the same price and would not mention the terms and conditions for depositing that money. I don't know what kind of business will still force you to buy a car from them despite your reiteration that you only can pay a certain amount...this is the kinda business crooks do. The extent to which Nissan has troubled me is hard to put in words.bottom line I wish no one go through such painful deceptive experience.women with kids bewareeeOverall we had a good experience
by mrcgunderson on 03/23/2015Initially, we went to test drive the Nissan Rogue. We were not planning on buying that day, we just wanted a quote, but we ended up in the finance office. They wanted purchase that day obviously... that is what they are in business for.… However, that was not our prerogative for this visit. We came back a week later; we had a different salesman and completely different experience. Everything was great! The price was right, everyone was very helpful. It made a world of difference with the salesman we talked to. I felt like the price was good, the trade-in value was more than fair, all the options that we wanted were included, and we had a 0% for 60 months loan. We couldn't beat this deal if you tried. We will be definitely be a repeat customer.DISHONEST, PLAYS GAMES, STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER!!!!!
by 1badcat on 09/18/2010Glendale Nissan is TERRIBLE!!!! STAY AWAY! I drove nearly 4 hours out of my way to look at a Navigator and was lied to multimple times. I called the night before to confirm the vehicle was still there, and to verify that out of… state financing would be ok. Kelly P said absolutely, No Problem whatsoever. When I arrived at the dealership, within the first 3 minutes, Kelly said that there may be an issue with out of state financing, and that we should start a credit application first. - Bear in mind, I had not even seen the car, or driven it yet! I told her that I was not doing that until I could see/drive the car, and that I was serious about purchasing it, and did have a sizeable down payment. ( I had about 95% of the asking price in cash with me!) Upon seeeing and driving the vehicle, I noted numerous problems- all electrically related. The interior illumination did not come on when the headlights were turned on, the tracton control would not turn off, the check engine and ABS Lights were also on. These were very obvious issues that should have been addressed by the dealer before this vehicle was even on the lot. I had no problem paying the posted price of the vehicle (it was fair, and I was told that it was there absolute bottom line several times) The price was fair for a vehicle that did not have these issues. I asked if these issues would be taken care of at this price, and Barry said that the margin was really tight, but they could maybe take off $100.00. This comment was extremely insulting, as I am ASE Certified in Advanced Automotice Electronics, and know that these issues could all cost several thousand dollars to repair. After driving the vehicle, I thanked Barry, and told him that I would have to pass on it, because of these issues. I said that maybe if the vehicle was 3-4 thousand less, that we could talk, and left it at that. At this time, Kelly P was walking out to see how the test drive went, and before I could say a word, she said just a minute and went to talk to Barry about our test drive. I was going to be considerate and thank her as well, but when I walked towards her and Barry, she went the other way, and basically gave me the cold shoulder twice. I left the dealership and began my long drive back home. About 10 minutes later, Barry called asking if $2500 off the price would work. (Even though I was told that the listed price was absolute bottom dollar / margins were tight) Again, I said I was serious about buying when I came into the dealer, yet they did not even respond to my offer of 3-4 thousand less at the dealer, and let me leave the lot. They were more interested in playing games, and missed their chance. I told Barry NO! 3-4 thousand less was my offer at the dealership, with all the issues the vehicle had. I had now left the dealership, and was on my way home, so now that I would have to come back, I said 4-5 thousand less. At this point Barry got a real attitude and a rather unpleasant tone, I told him twice more that I would pass, at which point he hung up on me. Bottom line - Glendale Nissan would have likely made a sale if they listned when I told them that I was a serious customer, and considered my offer on the lot. Instead, they failed (miserably). This dealership is very dishonest, and would rather play games than work with serious customers. Glandale Nissan overlooks and ignores blatantly obvious(saftey) issues with their vehicles, and is definately a "quantity over quality" dealership. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER!!!!!!Appreciative sale service
by agyares on 06/03/2014updated 04/26/2025Highly appreciated the sale services l received from Mike "MJ" R. on my recent purchase of a car. ThanksGlendale Nissan is NOT A TRUSTWORTHY dealership, THEY LIE!!!
by Buddy_Revel on 01/14/2013updated 04/26/2025If it was possible to give them a negative mark I would. I had a agree upon price over the phone with the general manager of the dealership, Keith N. I was to meet him at 7:00pm to look at the car, after driving 40 miles and paying $4 in… tolls to get there for the meeting, Keith went home for the day at 5:30, and of course NOBODY knew of the deal we had discussed. I took the test drive with a salesmen and inspected the car and decided I would take it for the agreed upon price that Keith and I had discussed. The salesmen then told I had to meet with the used car manager a Mr. Larry L., he proceed to tell me there is no way he can sell me that car of the price I had negotiated with Keith and that if I wanted the car it was going to cost $1000 more. I told there was no way I was going to pay that, I told him to call Keith, which he refused to do. I told him to keep the car and walked out. Basically they will tell you ANYTHING to get you into the dealership, and then the funny games start. The only way I would ever go back into the dealership is if you glued my testicles to a cannon ball and fired them threw the front door. Stay away from this place, they are skilled in the art of deception and conniving. Larry H.Want to get duped ? this is the place then.
by akhil_agarwal on 05/01/2013updated 04/26/2025Glendale Nissan is the worst dealer I have seen in my whole life. Customer service - 0, Quality of Work - 0, Friendliness - 0, Overall experience - A big zero. I bought a Pre-owned certified Nissan Rogue from them (along with the Nissan… Security Plus extended Protection plan) on 1-Apr-2013. That was my biggest mistake. They handed over the car to me with the 'Tire Pressure Monitoring' light on. When I highlighted this (to the sale man 'Giorgio F.') he defended saying that its showing the alarm as its cold outside. Next day it turned out to be a flat tire and I had to get frontal tires replaced (at whopping $500). Moreover, few days down the line when I switched on the Air conditioner (for the first time) it didnt work. It seems they handed over the car to me with a broken Air conditioner. I went back to them thinking it will be rectified (as I just bought the car) from them. But now the attitude of the dealership had changed all together. They demanded another $500 to fix that air conditioner. They sold me the 'Nissan Security Plus extended Protection plan' (for $2000) without telling me the fine prints. The only reason I bought a car from this dealership was due to the fact that I am new to this country and wanted to buy a car from a big dealership (as I expected some credibility from these big dealers). But this dealer (does all unethical things which he can) to get your business and will then just dump you. I will definitely not recommend them for any purchase/service.Great Choice!
by bhappycsi on 07/09/2013updated 04/26/2025If your looking for a Nissan, this IS the place to go! Want to be respected and treated as a customer should be? Ask for Mark W., and Kevin S.!Horrible
by recentbuyer5 on 02/27/2013updated 04/26/2025Horrible Experience, negative stars if possible. After getting internet pricing and going in for a test drive (which we called beforehand), they told us we couldnt see a salesman.(even though 8 of them were standing around). We drove a long… way and were told we should leave. The GM when he called to apologize told us that the staff thought we were salesmen so thats why they decided to be rude. What a joke of a dealer.
