  • Unethical Business

    I would like to give this dealer NEGATIVE stars if I could. My wife and I came to an agreement with the sales manager on the price and we were scheduled to go in this morning to pick up the car and do the financing, when 45 min before we were supposed to be there they call and say they sold the car. Crappy dealership. Will NEVER go back!!

    Our sales person was efficient and didn't waste our time. I told him our budget, and he gave me options that would work and did not try to talk me into something that I could not afford. My husband and I both purchased new cars that day, and we were at the dealership a total of 4-4.5 hours. I expected to be there a lot longer. I appreciated that!

  • Geral Nissan makes cary buying easy

    I narrowed my choices down to 3: The Hyundai Elantra, Kia Forte and Nissan Sentra. All 3 cars were around the same price OTD and ironically all owned by Gerald. The reason I purchased my Nissan Sentra at Gerald is because of Chris T. my sales consultant. I hate pushy salespeople and Chris let me shop for my new car the way I wanted to. I was able to browse through all the models on the lot at my pace without being hovered over. I was able to test drive several models and finally landed on the Sentra S in Magnetic Grey. I've only had the car for a few days but wow, what a car. So far I'm averaging 29.9 mpg. and the ride quality is comfortable for a compact car. If you're considering any of these 3 cars I'd recommend either the Sentra or Forte. The Elantra fell short on ride comfort for me.

    I would definitely buy another car at Gerald Nissan North Aurora again. And I would for sure work with the gentleman that helped me again, Erik J. He was honest and not pushy at all, compared to the car salesman stereotype. When I came in to the Nissan dealership I had pretty much decided I was going to buy a Honda Fit, but the sales team there was distant, I didn't feel like they were listening to me or cared about what I was looking for. Erik listened and made suggestions. He was very knowledgeable. It made a huge impact on me because I decided I wanted him to get the sale, not the people at Honda. I took a while to buy, because I waited for the Note to come out (after starting to look for cars in early March). Erik kept me updated whenever he heard anything about the release. I'm glad I made the decision I did, because I love my car. I would definitely return to Gerald Nissan of North Aurora to buy another vehicle; and I would definitely work with Erik again.

    Dan R. the sales representative who greeted us was very nice and knowledgeable. It was almost as if he knew exactly what we were looking for. After spending months looking for our car I knew when Dan approached us that he would be the one who would help us with our purchase. He seemed so confident and had such a strong point of view about every subject that was brought up. There was nothing weak about the knowledge he shared with us. He believed in us and he made us feel that we could trust him and count on him. We really liked Dan and we are thankful that we finally found our vehicle thanks to him.   • No hassle dealership

    We went in to look for a pre-owned car and ended up buying a new Nissan Altima 2013 because the price is very attractive. Jason M was very knowledgeable about the products that he was selling and very patient, polite, no pressure. We had a very good experience and were comfortable in making our decision for this purchase with no hassle. He followed up with us with an email after the 1st time we came into the dealership. His attitude and salesmanship were excellent.

  • Worst Sales manager I ever seen...........

    I fill out online request to buy Nissan Rouge 2013, I got several quote from different dealers. I got relatively cheaper price from Gerald Nissan North Aurora compare to other dealers. So I went to the dealership on 21st May 2013. They did not have same car what they quote (Off course they just want you to visit their place) even though he quote price with VIN #. That internet sales person wasn't there so other sales Manager tried to sale me lower model with higher price. When I told that "Do I look Idiot" Manager got angry and he realize that I am not going to buy car right now. He told me to get out from that place. He also threatens me that he doesn’t want to insult me in front of my wife. I never see this type of sales manager who don't know how to talk with customer. I will never go to this dealer in future. Please keep yourself away from this dealer. This kind of experience I had in past with this dealer but I didn't mention to anybody but this time I want other people to know so they don't have this kind of experience in future.

    The sale was less painful than I had expected. I stated my criteria and within minutes a vehicle was waiting for me to test drive. I found the salesman and supporting staff were very friendly and accommodating. I love the vehicle and will be back when its time is up or another vehicle is needed in our household. I have already given out many recommendations and will continue to do so. Thanks!
