by gm771 on 06/06/2013updated 04/25/2025I bought my 2012 Fusion a year ago and took it in today for a tire rotation and oil change. I was told that I needed four new tires and a realignment for $1000. I told the dealer that at 22,000 miles the tires should not need to be replaced… but he blamed me stating that I drove the car "too hard". I told the dealer that I have purchased four vehicles new, two others were also Fords, and have never had to replace the tires so early. Again I was told it was my fault, and while the tires are the best because they are Michelins they were not covered by the warranty. I asked how my tires were when my boyfriend brought in the vehicle for the 16,000 mile oil change and I was informed there were no problems with them then. When I remarked that it seems odd the tires would deteriorate so quickly and I am taking the car for a second opinion I was told by the service advisor, "I have eleven years of doing this. I know what I am doing". So, in summary, I don't know how to drive, the service advisor knows more than me (and apparently I know nothing), I am going to be out a significant amount of time and money getting a one-year-old car repaired and Ford's tires are so good they are not covered in the warranty. No more Ford vehicles for me ever again and no more service at Joe Rizza.Hi, Thanks for taking the time let let us know how you feel. We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied. There are several causes for wear and tear of tires other than driving. Inflation, rotation, alignment, and even outside weather can have an affect on your tires. Michael P. was my salesman who took me for a test drive and showed me all the great features the car had to offer. Michael was friendly, polite and very knowledgable… and helpful in making my decision on which Fusion to purchase. I didnt end up with the hybrid/electric Fusion because of lack of trunk space but loved that whole 'green concept'. Both Michael and Scott P. made a special effort to find the Fusion with everything i asked for without spending more for options i didnt want or need. I never felt pressured into buying the vehicle, felt i got a really fair price which included a rebate and 0% interest and was met with great salespeople i would recommend to anyone. Thanks to Michael for painstakenly taking the time to show me how everything worked on my car and for genuinely being so excited about the car himself. Again, a positive shout out to the Precin's at Joe Rizza Ford. I felt like I was a family member. They took care of us with our NEW 2013 Ford Explorer XLT. Couldn't be more… pleased with them as well as the quality of truck. Excellent Job by the Ford Team on building such a beautiful, strong truck. Thank You to Hal (Sales Guy), John (Backup Sales guy) Bill Kay, Bob in Finance and the rest of the Rizza Team! by bman27 on 11/23/2011updated 04/25/2025The salesman was great. Not very pushy helped look at all the stickers to find the one with the options i wanted. I think they need a better way to see what cars have what options than looking on all the stickers or trying to look at every… ones details online. Sales manager was ok. Showed me the price with the rebated and special financing. At first hesitant to even move 300-400 come one. But then he said ok thats not a big deal. The normal games i guess. They have some other special guy try and sell you all the warranties in the book. The finance guy shows you how much the payments increase with each warranty but his main selling point was gap coverage. He tried hard to sell it and was not too worried about the other warranties. Finance guy was super quick after that and helped me get a even lower rate that was avilable by using a normal bank with different rebates than the ford special financing with little rebates. The salesman even went and got us a soda while we were waiting for them to enter all the info in the computer which seemed to take a while. They do all this stuff electronically but then they double fill out some paper forms for finance apps seems like a waste of time.best non pressure exp.ever
by Alma716 on 09/30/2013updated 04/25/2025This year i had to buy a car because mine was totaled .I was more upset that i had to deal with the high pressure that happens at auto dealers then i was about the accident .when i arrived at Joe rizza Ford in Orland i was welcomed byJoe V… the welcome did not come the min i steped out of my car but he made ieye contact and allowed me to get comfortable and look around first then approached me about 10 min after to say that he just wanted t welcome me and if i had any questiones he would be more then happy to ans. them for me .Joe allowed me to test drive the auto by myself I thought that that was amazing i never understood why they have to come with do they not know how it drives what joe did made me able to relax and find out if that car was really for me.there was never any pressure to buy that day because of that i bought my car from joe v and joe rizza ford I recommend that people who hate pressure go see joev @Joe Rizza Ford inOrland ParkHello and thank you for the review!
