FIRST the lady that answered the phone said that they would Match our trade in offer or beat it! Well that should have raised a red flag right there. Second. The Sales man (Todd)… . Knew where we needed our numbers to make the deal. I ASKED him multiple times how do you know the monthly payment without checking our credit and talking to financial services. MULTIPLE TIMES. OK numbers came back and This so Called sales Man (TODD) came back and said we have to add this warranty to add money to the vehicle so we can get the financing. It was a Cpo. Yes we messed up listening to this so called Sales Man. Oh yes I forget when we first got there he all ready RED FLAGGED this lady that was there and then said Thank God she left. WELL She's Lucky she left so she doesn't have to write ANOTHER Bad review on Google about this Dealership. Love the car But your Dealership is a BLACKEYE for Napleton Auto Group. I will be your GREATEST advertising Company . IF you like to make this better you know how to get in touch with me . Oh we have reached out this Dealership 7 times though the Dealership website email and No response. SMH Update April 2025: Wow reached out to This Dealership 10 Times and Not one call back . by danvee333 on 05/21/2024The mechanic who serviced my Subaru Crosstrek was cordial, knew is profession and kept me apprised of progress. Never been a better one in Chicagoland or elsewhere. They should raise his pay and promote him!Would not recomend
by X on 10/25/2023Thought long and hard on this review. The dealer ship will lie and tell you what you want to hear to buy . They will also tack on extra warranty and not tell you about it. * which you can cancel* . Also there "cpo" charge is something they… will come down on first. Do not pay that because you do not need to. Would highly recomend doing third party financing so the finance managers can't take advantage of you like they will try to . Onto the service department. They are on a different wave length than the dealer. They will get offended if you ask them questions. They have no customer service and aren't there to help you. Go to palatine subbie for service 100 % better. Service department will make a point to tell you that they have nothing to do with the rest of the dealership. Would not reccomend this dealer to anyone. All prices are negotiable. Just threaten to leave and they will run to the office for one last offer. Typicly just discounting the fees there trying to burn you with. Stay safe and do your research. This dealer doesn't care about you just getting your money. Also 3 months after purchase my clutch and trans went out. Like they don't check the cars before selling them.Hi, we are so disappointed to learn of this situation you have described. This is the price online. This is a price that people search for to… contact the dealer well this dealer lies they put on a certain price on the Internet but when you call them they charge an extra $1999 to certify the vehicle ha ha ha as I stated above, I’ve sold Subarus for many years not that I’m an expert however, I know for a fact that it cost a little under $500 to certify a vehicle these people are a rip off. They tell you one thing and don’t honor anything. I will be looking into this and contacting Edmunds about it. This is false advertisement buyers. Beware! These people are crazy.Cliché price switch

When we arrived the price was quoted as significantly higher. Salesman said it was to pay for the certification. Subaru… doesn't charge for certification and the paperwork provided listing the certification as no charge. When the finance person was asked the same question he just shrugged. The sales manager When I called said all dealerships do it. I was deceived from the start. We have received no attempts to address this issue and the contact email given on Google for reviews returns as undeliverableMy review

Over and above what was listed for the Certified car and price online. Said it was for the consumers benefit "because they… could compare cars easier if the charge wasn't listed". Stay far away - what they say about Napleton dealers is true - the "Napleton price" is a clever way of saying you are going to pzy in ways you didn't think possible (or ethical).Got the exact same treatment
Horrible Customer Service
by VB on 11/06/2021The service advisor is rude, confrontational and his attitude makes you feel like anything he does is a favor to the customer. He refused to honor a service coupon because I did not present it up front. The problem is that the coupon I… presented was for a service that they recommended after my initial check in. When I expressed my dissatisfaction he continued to argue with me that all coupons had to be presented at check in. I once again pointed out that the coupon was not applicable initially. He eventually honored the coupon stating that he would never accommodate me like this again. No worries, he won’t have that option, as I will never go there for service again. I understand policy but this was simply irrational and the attitude and hostility displayed was way out of line. If this is the person chosen to represent the service department, the owners need to evaluate this choice.Hello, we're disappointed to hear of the negative experience you had at our location. Service Center or a Proctology Office?

Unable to repair

Car is now running great with no excessive oil consumption. Would recommend this dealer for service. Changed a… timing belt and belt tensioners along with short block exchange. This added service was on advice from tech. Minimal cost for parts as labor was already covered with engine swap. He suggested this added service while he had the engine apart saving me additional labor on my Forrester. His name was Aaron and the writer was Keith. I dealt with Nick Spohnholtz concerning a used 2015 outback, not budging on the price and insisting it was the best on the… market, I decided to walk off the lot. Nick followed up with me once asking if I had any further questions or thoughts and did not push or pressure me into any other vehicles. After a week of researching other vehicles with similar features and mileage, I went back in and purchased the outback. I truly believe they price their vehicles accurately and fairly. Nick is a knowledgeable and friendly salesmen I would recommend to anyone. I have driven my outback for a little over a week now and an issue with a sensor has popped up. Concerned that I did not purchase any extended warranty with the vehicle and I would have to fix it myself, I took it in to the service department to see what they could do. Speaking with Chris Napleton, he assured me they would take care of it. I can not be more happy with my experience at Napleton Subaru. I will be a lifelong customer and refer anyone I can to them.
