The order taking in delivery was as promised. Instructions about the car were given in fact twice. All questions were answered and I feel comfortable that in the future if I have further questions, they also will be answered. My car drives… like a dream in the ordering process was easy without any mistakes. Dr. B.

All the service people have great customer service skills and I feel like I'm being treated with honesty, fairness, and respect. The waiting area is comfortable and… clean with complimentary wifi and plenty of ipads to play around on, but they also offer shuttles and ideas for ways to kill time if you don't want to hang around. Billy coordinated my service this time and notified me of everything as it happened. Couldn't be happier!AWESOME

They realize, it's the little things that count, I have had the pleasure to work with Joy and Jim so far in the service department in getting my vehicle serviced. They both have… gone above what I had expected from any service shop. I used to avoid dealership service departments like the plague, not so with Castle. I have had my vehicle there 3 times so far, once for maintenance, once for service, and once for a free car wash (included because I bought my vehicle there). Hands down way better than the previous two dealers that I had gone to. Gabriel, the salesman, was… extremely informative with all the features the car offers. The sales manager, Dave, was awesome to work with and made finalizing the sale very simple. Overall,I had a great shopping experience at Castle Chevrolet, and I'm very happy with my brand new car! :)Joy U. is truly a Joy to work with!!!

On Saturday I told Xavier that I wanted that car we talked about and would be driving in from 1.5 hours from Rockford to purchase the vehicle. He said that is great and… that he would put the keys aside so that that vehicle would not be touched and would be there ready for me to purchase. Xavier told me that the team would also be willing to deal with me on price since it was the end of the month. I talked to Mike R., Xavier’s supervisor, after filling out a credit app online. He said my 800+ credit rating was excellent and that would get me the lowest rate possible. He stated that he would have the banks compete against each other and he would get me a 2 - 2.5% interest rate without a problem. I asked Mike if there was any reason why I would not be driving that Malibu home and said only if you don’t buy it. I again was in contact with Mike at around 2:30pm and said I was on my way. He said they would have the car ready for me. I pulled into the dealership at 4:20pm just as a customer was pulling the car (that was supposedly put aside for me) back onto the lot after a test drive. I went inside and asked for Xavier. I met him and was advised that Ray aka Raul was going to be my salesman. We went outside to take a look at the car. It was extremely dirty inside and out. We also noted that there were several scratches on the vehicle including a very large scrape on the rear quarter panel. The vehicle also had trash in the backseat. I told Ray that I was not interested and was leaving. He said he would get his manager. Just curious why that vehicle would not have been at least clean if you had a customer driving 1.5 hours to purchase it and drive it home? We were then greeted by Peter who came across as arrogant and pompous. He never apologized for the condition of the vehicle. He just said you had a lot of vehicles and they frequently get dinged up. He said a porter left that the trash in the car but didn’t apologize for that either. I advised him that I was taking my 800+ credit rating and going elsewhere. He asked if I thought that I should feel special because of that. He said that doesn’t mean anything but only that I pay my bills on time. Where I come from that is a good thing. We did test drive the vehicle and were ready to purchase the car. No money was offered for my inconvenience and the condition of the car let alone the willingness of them to deal according to the guy on phone. The interest rate was .7 points higher than quoted. I said something to Peter about Xavier’s comments and he said that his job is just to get the customer in the door. So in other words, dishonesty is encouraged. We came to an agreement and the paperwork was started and then halted when the mandatory arbitration agreement was placed in front of me. I did not sign it and will never sign it. It was a bit comical when Peter said everyone has one of these and you have nothing to worry about… “trust me”. I have to say Peter would be the last person I would ever trust. After sending an email to the General Manager - Robert P. his response is quoted below - "As you well know there are two sides to every story as well." What part of this story are they denying? I truly understand why car dealers and sales persons get a bad reputation.New 2013 Silverado LT

by Suburban_Guy on 05/09/2014updated 04/26/2025Went in to look at an SUV which was advertised as Certified to argue with the manager because he kept saying it was "Certifiable" and it's cost would be absorbed if I went through Ally Bank of which I found out later is owned by General… Motors. This dealership also WILL NOT accept checks from outside financing i.e. credit unions, personal banks, etc. It's Ally Bank, cash or NO CAR.good experience

Great price, very low payments and can't beat the free oil changes/free car washes along with free tires at 40K miles for as… long as I own the car. Give Castle a try!
