  • Horrible service

1 out of 5 starsby Aoneringydingy on 05/18/2021

The sales process was great but it’s been 3 months now and nobody has sent me a title or tags or nothing. Their title clerk ignores your phone calls. I’m worried that I bought a car with a bad title, of course I’ll never find out because no body returns your calls. It’s come to the point where I’ll have to get an attorney which is ridiculous.

  • Good sales experience

I bought a brand new 2018 CRV last month. I was able to get the price and negotiated in advance so that i did not spend all day. Though i did most of the paperwork online, it still took us more than 5 hours. The sales process and financing can be improved, but overall I was satisfied. They put pressure on buying the Eckbond paint protection product, which is how they make their money. I was a bit put off by the pressure a bit, but i hope the protection plan does not have surprises in it ;ike deductibles and long drawn process to get paint repair etc. I hope the paint protection is a good product.

  • I always buy from them

5 out of 5 starsby Tia on 01/05/2019

I have purchased 4 of my last 5 cars from Neil Huffman Honda. They have been great to work with. Luke my salesperson is always willing to help in anyway he can. Charles the manager still remembers my name every time I walk in the door. I love dealing with them buying new or used.

  • Fast and friendly

5 out of 5 starsby NewHondaOwner on 12/26/2018

Got the car I wanted for the price I expected to pay. Did everything online except sign the paperwork & pick up the car, which took a little more than an hour. That's amazing because I've spent 6-8 hours at a dealership due to the pushy sales tactics & pricing changes. I recommend this dealership.

  • No integrity

1 out of 5 starsby Larryukfan on 06/24/2018

Huffman Honda sold us a brand new 2018 CRV with a bad engine. 900 miles and they will not stand behind their product. All we wanted was for them to take the defective car back on trade and put us in another new non defective car.. you guessed it.. they will not! $30,000 down the toilet as far as I’m concerned. I would look elsewhere for a car if I were you. BELIEVE ME THIS IS REAL AND A CAR BUYING NIGHTMARE ! THANKS NEIL HUFFMAN FOR THE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

Neil H was willing to negotiate without BS. Was able to get a great deal and although the checkout process took long (which is typical), everything went down smoothly. Would definitely buy from Neil Huffman Honda again.

Tavis B and Steve A are great. they always work with me and treat me with respect. If you didnt know you were on a dealership, tavis would appear to be just another person.
  • Best experience yet! with new-car purchase

5 out of 5 starsby Zdoc on 07/06/2014

Received prompt, efficient service and a fair price from people who were respectful of my time. I believe they were honest, and they honored my request to decline financing and expensive options. I purchased a vehicle in high demand, a 2015 Honda FIT, and they could have easily made a larger profit. But I explained previous HORRENDOUS experiences, and they were anxious to prove themselves different. Mr. N, my salesperson, and Mr. A, the manager, were friendly and forthright. New this time around: I felt no gender bias during negotiation! I WILL return. I still don't know why it's almost easier to buy a house than buy a car, though.

  • Find another Honda dealership

    2.3 out of 5 starsby kawliga7 on 07/16/2009

This dealership has a high mark up on the Honda Fit that I was looking for. Once at the dealership they kept me waiting nearly two hours for a management person to even speak to me - the salesperson, who was there only 3 weeks, was not allowed to make any deals. I found the management person I needed to talk to dishonest and not willing to even discuss the final price he had marked on a piece of paper he handed me - I wish I had gotten his name. A very unpleasant experience all around. The sales person was the only honest person in the room but had no say so in making any decisions.

I'm not sure if it's because we were from out-of-town and they thought they'd never see us again or if they just try to take advantage of everybody who comes in, but they've ensured they'll never sell to us again. I knew the car we wanted was overpriced, but I thought they'd work with us a little. I let them take advantage of me and the fact that we were unfamiliar with the values of the car we bought and hadn't had a chance to conduct appropriate research before-hand. We had actually visited the dealership to look at a different make & model that they had in their used car lot. When it didn't pan out, we felt that since we were there, we would see what else they had to offer. They were treating us well at this point and if a dealership treats us well, we’ll stick with them for all our purchases, as we did where we previously lived. In ten years, we – including our extended family – purchased five cars from one dealership. As we entered the negotiation phase it became uncomfortable; my gut kept telling me to get up and leave and I should have listened. In a way, because of their desperation to make a sale and the way in which they pretend to be your friend and share stories about where they grew up and things they know about the area in which you live, we actually kind of felt sorry for them and wanted them to be our new dealership of choice. The end result is that we payed way too much for the car we bought. Although we felt the value they were offering for our trade was fairly reasonable, they later turned on us and blamed us for the reconditioning they alleged they had to do to it. This was after the dealership inquired as to our satisfaction with the purchase and we then expressed our concern about having paid too much, based on our after-the-fact research. The value a dealership offers for a trade-in is based on what they think its worth minus the anticipated investment to sell at a reasonable profit. Their reconditioning costs are NOT the customer’s responsibility, and it’s inappropriate for them to even bring it up. My dad was a car salesman. I know how it works. We love the new car. We just hate the fact that we got taken for a ride on it – no pun intended. If they had just let us go, without being so desperate to sell, we would have gone home, done our research, and very possibly returned to try to negotiate further. But we’ll never know now. My recommendation: Go somewhere else!

This car dealership will quote you one price and claim that it is the out of door total price whilst signing the contract. Then once you sign it they will say that this "Contract Price" actually did not include some "Small" fees which turned out to be $1000! Ridiculous and unethical.
