    I had some challenges with my Ford. My Don Hinds service rep did a great job staying on top of them problem until we could get it resolved.

    Went in for tires had other front end issues. So I agreed to fix them. When I left had same issues with pulling to the right and steering wheel not straight. I immediately left Dustin Greene text. After a day of not hearing from him I sent him another text. He asked when I could bring back so I told him. Again no answer. So I sent him another text and asked again also mentioned he never answered me from previous day. So we finally agreed on another day. So when I brought back in he tells me that the leaf spring on left side was broken. When they did the tires and alignment they also replaced all four shocks. I am no dummy but the shocks are next to leaf springs. He told me I broke it in the two days I had it. I said his mechanic missed it. Everyone makes mistakes. He said he is his best mechanic not in my eyes. I had some questions about the billing from alignment and tires and shocks why they only did a two wheel alignment? He did not have a answer. I feel I was overcharged for this work and want a refund for a alignment that did not for my issues with truck. He said it was pulling to the right because of leaf springs. I doknow all alignments should be four wheel alignments.I used Don Hinds since 2015 with a awesome service advisor Scott Kraus with a awesome crew. I willnot return to see Dustin and his crew. I had to go to a different dealership for the leaf springs to be replaced. They also done a four wheel alignment that was needed. Ray Skillman worked with me since I bought the truck there much better price than Dustin offered me. So do your research before you go anywhere for service on your vehicles. I would recommend Don Hinds if you are buying a new vehicle. If you are lucky enough to get Scott Kraus for your service advisor stick with him.

    I was worried when I moved to Indiana where to take my car for service, but the first time I took my car to Don Hinds Ford I knew I would never take it anywhere else. Great service. Josh Franklin truly takes care of me, he’s honest and I appreciate that so much. All the staff I have interacted with at Don Hinds are very helpful.

    I purchased a used one-owner 2019 Chevrolet Silverado from Don Hinds Ford on 10-29-22. I live about 300 miles away from this dealership. Upon receiving the title, I discovered that they took the vehicle in trade on 3-9-22. Also based on the Carfax, I discovered the previous owner took the truck to a Chevrolet dealer for an engine oil leak and oil cooler line replacement one week before he traded it. I noticed no issues on my short test drive of the truck, but only made it halfway home before noticing a definite engine knock. I made an appointment with my local Chevy dealer and took the truck to them for service. Seven weeks later, GM authorized and completed a full engine replacement on this truck. I requested Don Hinds Ford service records from their General Sales Manager on two occasions and he did not respond to my request. I suspect they knew there was an issue with this truck engine especially since I now know that it sat on their lot for over seven months in the current truck demand environment. I kept Don Hinds Ford management aware of this matter and simply requested that they reimburse part of my rental car expenses, since I was unable to use the truck they sold me for seven weeks. Their General Sales Manager gave me a dismissive response that “he was sorry about the engine and that they could have possibly provided me with a loaner vehicle if I was local, but he understood that was not feasible.” He also never acknowledged that I saved their dealership a significant amount by not filing a claim and using their offered powertrain warranty. I have owned and maintained dozens of vehicles in my lifetime and have never posted anything negative about any automotive purchase or service. But I would rate Don Hinds Ford service after the sale as the worst I have ever experienced. It seems to me their primary objective is dealer profits even when at the expense of customer satisfaction and service. I would advise any prospective customer of this dealership to beware.

  • F150 repairs at Don Hind's Ford

    I purchased an extended warranty almost 5 years ago on my new F-150 truck. Just had front brakes and a driver side power mirror replaced for a small deductible amount. Excellent service from initial contact thru completion of the work!

    Chuck and the service department went out of their way to help with problems on my F 53 chassis. Coachmen tried, but in the end failed me. I will never buy another coachman product, but I will be a lifetime member of the Ford family.

    Steve S. Was a great salesperson. He came out as soon as we got there. Was extremely friendly. He grabbed me bags to clean out my old vehicle. He was super friendly with with our daughter and allowed us to make a few messes (she shook up a sprite and we opened it). We will be back when it’s time to upgrade!

    I have always gotten the best service and when there are sometimes issues with multiple items they help on prioritizing what items must be fixed now and what can wait a little bit longer to help spread out the costs.
  • 2018 Escape Head Gasket Repair

    I had scheduled my Escape for its normal 30K mile service when the Check Engine light came on. When I brought the car in on a Monday morning I told my Service Advisor Josh F. that my OBD2 code reader reported a cylinder 2 misfire. Within 30 minutes he came back to me with the suspected cause (head gasket leak) and a repair plan. He also arranged for a courtesy car and gave me daily progress updates until repairs were completed on Friday. A head gasket failure is no fun, but Josh made the repair process as painless as possible. A stellar service experience!
