Marcus was the first to greet us and was a pleasure to work with as he guided us through the new and used cars available, with zero pressure, happy to answer all our… questions, and when the the vehicle that seemed to meet our needs was a “no go” due to its having remnants of cigarette smoke that affected our allergies, Marcus pursued other options patiently, including looking at the list of new vehicles in transit to the dealer. He was successful in finding a new car that met our needs perfectly for a price that was workable for us. One week later we took delivery of our new Hyundai Tucson -we are very pleased and very much appreciate Marcus’s approach to the sales process - helping us find what we wanted without no pressure to close.x customer

We didn’t feel pressured or rushed and they made the process a fantastic experience. We… went to other dealerships to try other models (first time purchasing a SUV), but came back to this one due to their quality and variety of cars and approachable team! Quintin and Kenny picked right back up with assisting us when we returned and assisted us well into the evening. The finance representative was awesome too! He offered us a variety of options to find what would work for our budget and needs. by Disappointed on 10/08/2021I have been working with Clayton a salesman from Skillman Ford . I was told to avoid paying over MSRP You need to order the truck. Clayton calls and states he can take the order for the truck. After multiple calls and visits to dealership… He is now telling me I have to pay over MSRP I said that is not what was discussed and he stated sorry I don’t remember and if you want it you will pay it. That is not what was discussed and the manager Phillips stated sorry It is over MSRP .I was given a bad deal
by Josh on 05/24/2021I went in on a Saturday to trade in my used vehicle for a newer used vehicle. The salesman was great, but the finance guy was very slow and overall we did not get a good deal on the vehicle. Despite not negotiating the price down, I… purchased the vehicle and was content enough when I drove it home. Imagine my frustration the next morning when the engine failed on me. I was excited to take my first trip in my new car with my wife and two kids five minutes down the road to Kroger. We didn't even make it to the first stop sign. I had to push the car in neutral back to my driveway. Today (Monday) I went back into the dealership, they refuse to take the car back, insisting that they'll "getchya taken care of buddy," and other nonsense. I don't want the car repaired and given back to me, I want a different deal for a car that works. The store manager, floor manager, and guy who sold me the car all attempted to gang up on me when they saw that I was straightforward and persistent. They had nothing to say about their poor customer service when I called them out on it. I'm now stuck with a car that, frankly, I'm not sure I can trust.Great Dealership!

Outstanding Experience

I explained why this is my choice and Joe and I worked out a deal on a… new lease that I am very happy with. My whole process; two test drives, making a deal to my liking, and time spent in the finance office was only two hours! I picked up my new car, all clean and full of gas the next afternoon. I have leased three cars from this dealership an would highly recommend others to give them a chance to earn your business. the good, the bad, and the ugly
by doubtful doc on 04/20/2021My salesman and his staff were great. We come back to Skillman Hyundai mainly because of Quinton. Car buying always involves a lot of unnecessary waiting, and this time was no different. We broke down the experience into two days in… hopes that on the second day most of the paperwork would be done. This didn't happen. The finance part of the experience was slow and painful. We foolishly agreed to things just to get out of there. We were also told that we could cancel the extended warranty at any time with no problems. So, the following Monday I went in to cancel it, only to find out that it wasn't that simple. So, I'm stuck with a higher monthly payment for the life of the loan, and, I guess, the value of the refund will be taken off the loan balance. I'm dubious. On the bright side, the car is great. We only wish that the paperwork part wasn't so painful.Great service from start to finish!!!

I called, they asked for an offer which I made. To make medium length story short, Johnny accepted MY… offer (no other negotiation). I am convinced I got a great deal! Drove 435 miles, to their dealership. 2 hours later drove the van home. Great vehicle, very pleasant experience. Thanks Johnny. Remote Purchase of 2019 Mustang GT
by mike T on 10/19/2019Everyone was more then happy to help me purchase vehicle even thou remotely purchased. At first was hard getting contact & call backs, but after that point things went smoothly and quickly. Maybe better explanation of Docs sent to me, I did… not even know I had to get/pay for notarized docs, which I understand with old vehicle as to why. Overall the Team at Skillman was very professional and took the time with me even thou sometimes I was not accessable and they worked with my hours. One thing that can be improved is the actual car transfer, delivery company was not efficient, nor making calls to me, even thou they state 24 hrs notice, never happened, I only got ~10 hours after they missed original delivery date. Good news is Car was delivered in perfect shape.Great sales team

Cornell and some others there helped me make a decision. As well as… helped me understand the financial side as i have no credit. Derek Young was my salesman and was amazing in helping me get into the vehicle I had already had my eyes on and out of my lease that was coming to an end. One of the best car experiences I've… ever had. The insurance broker Amber was awesome as well getting me a lower insurance rate. Josh Owens also helped me with financing and was great!
