by TeriEG on 08/31/2014I've been purchasing my cars from Pat C for the last 20+ years. The Gabus experience has been by far the best for my last 3 vehicle purchases. I asked Pat to look at my current vehicle as it had some cosmetic paint scratches and told him… what I might look at in 6 mo to a year but he had a vehicle for me to test drive when I stopped. Well, he knows me too well and I purchased what I test drove....imagine that. Please don't let this man retire for at least 10 years as I have probably two perhaps three more vehicles to buy. I refer people to Gabus all the time - Brad in the credit department was a pleasure to work with as well. Very nice young man. Your service staff is always pleasant, professional and honest. Hands down better than all your competitors!Teri, you have been doing business with Pat and Charles Gabus Ford for many years and your review about us is truly appreciated. 2013 F 250 Diesel

Not a lot of wheeling and dealing, Got a bottom line price $5K less than another local dealer… for the truck I wanted. Requested a color change after the order was placed and they called the factory and made the change. As satisfied as I have ever been dealing with a car dealer. Purchase of Escape 2014

He told me he would help me find the best amount of vehicle for the money and for what I needed. My monthly payments were actually… lowered from my previous 3 year lease on a Toyota RAV4. Fair, no-games approach

I dealt with Steve S. at the dealership and found the approach to be very transparent and straightforward. The initial… price quotes were very reasonable -- in the "good" range based on all my research -- and Steve was amenable to fair counter offers. Vehicle pick up was also smooth. Bad experience
by Fordshopper on 10/26/2013updated 04/26/2025I called Gabus and we discussed what options I wanted and what price I was willing to pay for a F150 King Ranch. I got a call back from my saleswoman stating that they have a F150KR in both green and blue with the options I want in the… price range I was looking at. My wife and i packed up our 18 mo old and made the two hour drive to Gabus. We looked at the two trucks to see that neither one of them had the options we requested on the phone. So we started looking at F150s that were $3,000 more. I asked to speak with a manager. I explained how his saleswoman told us that they had trucks with (x) options at (x) price. When we got there that was not the case. The manager shrugged his shoulders and said that was on me and I should of researched it more. I told him speaking to his saleswoman and getting direct info on the phone was my research. He said I should of used the Internet and finished our conversation with a uncomfortable silent blank stare. The manager was an older gentleman. I was absolutely shocked that was all he had to say knowing we drove two hours (one way) to get there because of a "mistake" his saleswoman made on not one, but two trucks. Wasted over half a day driving to Gabus Ford to be told "it's on you". As a result....... I think today I caught a saleswoman in some little white lies ranging from $500-$2,300 that maybe someone buying a $50k+ vehicle may overlook just to go home with a new truck. Her lack of knowledge on a vehicle that overwhelmed their lot was disconcerting. A misquote and wrong pricing with options on two separate trucks is just too much coincidence for me from a saleswoman that has been at the dealership for that long. I believe I caught the manager on a day he woke up on the wrong side of the bed. As soon as he walked out of his office we felt more like a necessary inconvenience vs. a potential customer. I was also taken back by the fact that he would be stone faced after hearing what we were told that enticed us to make the drive. Partner that with the "that is on you" quote and I was done. We are still looking for our next F150KR. We will never consider a vehicle purchase from Gabus Ford and would highly advise others to shop elsewhere.Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
