  • Avoidable Headaches - Get a 3rd Party Inspection!

    I recently visited Bob Allen Ford and was nearly sold on a truck that appeared to be in fantastic condition at first glance. The exterior and interior were spotless, and everything seemed in order. However, I decided to take an extra precaution and got a 3rd party pre-purchase inspection—and I’m so glad I did. The mechanic uncovered significant rust and mud caked on the entire underbelly of the truck, which didn’t align with the mileage. They also noted that the tires were in far worse shape than they should have been. To make matters worse, the CarFax revealed that the service intervals were only half of what they should have been, especially for a truck that clearly endured aggressive off-road driving. The dealership did an excellent job of making the truck look great on the surface, but the issues underneath were hidden well enough that it would’ve cost me $38,000 in headaches had I gone through with the purchase. If you’re considering buying a vehicle from Bob Allen Ford, I strongly recommend spending $60-$100 on a 3rd party inspection before making a decision. It saved me from making a costly mistake.

    Ford Edge 2011 60,000 mile check up I told them my Concerns and they fixed everything. Helped me with a rental while it was getting fixed - aug 8-10. My service professional was very helpful

    All staff very courteous and professional . Service was performed in a very timely manner and it was washed before being returned to me. The waiting area was roomy and comfortable. I always have my vehicle serviced here.

    Service advisor was great. I think Ford has a transmission issue in this car although they are denying it. Service experience was great though.

    wasn't sure I wanted to buy a ford since I've had good luck with GM vehicles. Decided to give the new F 150 a look. Andrew took the time to explain all the features to be sure I understood everything. He went out of his way to make sure I was totally satisfied with everything. Good experience.

    I was there for service for my 2000 Taurus wagon which had to have creative service as part needed no longer available. Please, I can't accept the terms as this was probably my last service as I am reluctantly facing giving up driving due to age. Service techs wonderful--as always--Starbuck's coffee great, and the courtesy van service to & from my home a blessing. Thanks for 16 great years and the pride the skillful mechanics demonstrated in keeping me driving! The complimentary car wash a big plus! Peace!

    I dropped off my Taurus on a Monday for collision repair, and got it back a little over a week later. Although the repairs took a little bit longer than I had planned for, the work that was done was tremendous. Bob Allen always does a great job with anything I bring to them!     I had bought 2 service agreements 1 on My brand new Explorer and 2014 Edge. I was getting Oil changes on both Edge at 10k and Explorer at 5k. Feedback: Seems that every time i come into the shop there is no one that ever immediately says to me: "Sir i will be with you as soon as i get done with xxxxx" Its always a wait until someone recognizes your presence. I was taught when you come into a shop acknowledge that person immediately. Also when picking up my car i expected someone (a person) to tell me what you did and what you saw when servicing my car. (i had to read the invoice and still not 100% sure) Good: Car was taken care of within reasonable time period.

    Came to Bob Allen after being at another locally owned ford dealer and discouraged because the other dealer wasn't helping me with my needs for a work truck that i could afford. Obviously my goal in this case is to make more at work and spend less to better provide for my little family. From the first day i walked into Bob Allen i was treated fairly and like my needs mattered and walked away with a truck i could afford and does exactly what i need it to do. I love that truck! Thank you Bob Allen for all the help and i will recommend your dealership to anyone! And when i need another vehicle, Bob Allen is where I'll be going!

    Kyle was great and fun to work with, of course my wife gave him a hard time with the money, but he listened and patiently worked with us. The rest of the staff was friendly and did not pressure us. Letting us take the vehicle home over the weekend showed trust in us also we appreciated that also. Ironic that we have only purchased 2 cars from a dealer and both times it was here at Bob Allen.

    I purchased a 2016 Ford Fusion, S Model. It is an awesome car and I've been having a great time driving. The service was wonderful! They did a great job working with my budget and helping me find the best car for what I was willing to spend. Everyone was really friendly.
